I cannot comment on this aspect because I have no experience with home improvement whatsoever and obtain MOST OF my homeowner knowledge from watching the Evening news (locally) and learning of Contractor jobs 'gone wrong'.

We were surprised HomeFix did not display signage in front of our home while the job was performed or have the installation crew's truck branded up heavily with "HomeFix Remodeling" logos, etc.

It seems like a missed opportunity these days to not be 105% on top of the self-promotion aspect of things!

Put signs up on the day off installation and have the salesperson collect those when they visit for a, 'Are you satisfied?' visit 2 or 3 days later.

My neighborhood was built in the 1980s, my home, in particular, in 1986. It was time to replace my siding and for the past two years I did get a couple of quotes, but hesitated. When the young man came to my door a few months ago, sorry I do not recall his name, he represented your company well, and I felt trust in him. When Cyrus came to talk about the job, I felt it was time to go ahead with the project. I am hoping that neighbors will inquire about my house as the sign is still in the front yard. I have received many compliments so far! I will highly recommend HomeFix!

The three men that came to my home, Daris or Davis, Gabriel, and Juan were extremely polite, and worked diligently to install my “new and beautiful”, front entrance door. They were very careful to make sure that my collectible plates, on the inside wall of my home were carefully taken down before they got started. I was impressed with the care and the way they worked, to make sure that the materials used fit to the best that they were able to accomplish. They included me and informed me about the threshold, and molding, before and during the entire installation process. I love the color of the Colonial Barn RED, and style of my new door! The black hardware and style are perfect. Thank you for a peep hole, also. I am so happy with the way it turned out. I have only one thing that I have to do in about 6 weeks, and that is to paint a piece of unfinished wood to the lower bottom of the door, white. Kind of like a kick plate, to make a perfect fit. They added it to give the threshold & door an attractive look, because the flashing would not fit properly. A sign with Homefix was placed in my yard for advertisement. Thank you so, very much! I love it!!!! It is so, beautiful! Just what I wanted!!!

I got in touch with HomeFix Cutsom Remodeling through BJ's Home Improvement. HomeFix charged me more than the quoted price by BJ even though BJ's are their subcontractors.

HomeFix Custom Remodeling Norfolk ordered the incorrect door, and they forgot the trim that was needed with it. They put white caulking on an almond door. I told them to get plastic molding for the door, and they got wood, which immediately warped. I am not happy for this $2,000 door that looks bad. I will never refer them unless they fix it. I am likely to leave a negative comment on their site.

When they finished the windows, they left the old windows on the grass, and it discolored my grass. I also noticed that when it rains, I smell an odor coming from the windows, and I need someone to check it out. You can smell it when it is damp.

I was not particularly impressed with the craftsmanship of the installer. He seemed more intent to provide exac tly what was listed in the contractrther than ensuring that the customer was happy with the product. He removed an architectural feature and would have not rplaced it had I not made it an issue. He also didn't try to wipe down and remove dirt and spider webs in the area he was covering. I also see where rather than informing me that a piece of trim was rotting and should be removed, he simply cover around it and left the rotting wood exposed.

The work done on our roof is excellent, however the product is expensive. When my original roof was removed I got a call stating that my roof decking needed to be replace and now the price was almost double. The person then said that no more work would be done until this was paid “what are you going to do about it “. I felt this was very aggressive and uncalled for.

The workers were very nice. The product installed is very nice. I had an issue with them taking one day and a half to complete the project. They left some materials and had to come back and retrieve them.

They showed up inadequate. It was like they just wanted to get in and get it done. They never let anyone know they were coming, and they just started banging on the house. When I go to a house, I knock on the door to let them know I am present. I wouldn't want to be a stranger walking around someone house, and I don't want strangers walking around my house. That is what they did.
