Lies
Did a great job
The project started off rough with the company. Everyone worked very hard to get it going; it took months. The service people were great.
The installation was really smooth. The scheduling folks were very accommodating and well organized.
Excellent service and communication from start to finish. The installers were very pleasant and did the job with skill! Communication within the company has always been better than anyone else we’ve talked to about windows. I was skeptical at first, and after this, I am a fan and these people knocked it out of the park! Would highly recommend!
They really did a great job.
They sent the wrong window to me, but I said to install the other windows that were correct. They said they would just leave and come back, but I had already moved everything for them. They called their supervisor, and then they agreed to install the other windows that were correct. I asked for a discount if they would install the incorrect window. The inspector didn't write it off because they missed a lot of screws. The salesmen said that the company has its own installers. When they called me the first time to cancel, it was because the contractor they used wasn't available. It turns out it was an outside vendor. There were a lot of lies going on. We are waiting for them to come back to fix the screw issues so they can come back for another inspection.
I like the windows. They are solid and smooth. Jose and Erik were professional , polite, cleaned up after themselves and worked through some unexpected difficulties in the installation. I can tell they are pros. Everything is nice and tight. We ordered two paneled sliders but instead the company sent three panel ones. It did not make a lot of difference to us and the only issue might be getting our Amish poly-wood deck chairs in and out of the doors. Because of the curved door handle, you lose about two inches of opening on the sliding door - in our case we only have 26". Jose and Erik were also handicapped a bit because they did not have a lift for the installation of the front windows. Because of that, they had to work from the inside of the house and they were having to hang out of the third floor window trying to apply glue on the outside from being on the inside. The result was the there are some uneven streaks of black glue that are visible on the cream colored trim boards.
Everyone has been very professional and thorough during this process. Timely communication is a top priority for HomeFix -I never felt left out or in the dark about things.
The new windows are beautiful and make a huge difference in the amount of street/neighborhood noise that we hear in the house. The installation team was polite, professional, and mindful of our furnishings, covering everything with plastic.
HomeFix Custom Remodeling Tampa was great! They were nice, honest, cleaned up, and did the job well.
They were excellent at communication. Everyone with whom I spoke with was professional, friendly, and courteous.
They did a really good job. The communication could be better.
I ordered double hung windows and single hung were delivered. I was told I had no choice but to accept them or lose my deposit. So I allowed them to be installed so I didn't lose my money. The installers did a poor job and a different crew had to come out and correct there mistakes. The windows still failed inspections and no one has called or returned my call in regards to fixing the issues.
Wonderful people to deal with. Communication was tremendous!!!
I had HomeFix Custom Remodeling Tampa do my roof. They were very professional, came when they said they would, were timely, and cleaned up well. I could not speak with them as they mostly spoke Spanish, other than one person who spoke English, but I highly recommend them. That is where I would go if I needed a new roof, which hopefully I won't need for a long time.
Execution of roof install missed detailed attention
We were led to believe we were getting double hung windows… When single hung windows were installed we were confused and Rep. Adam seemed to not know what to do. Finally he called with discount that I feel was not fair but the workmanship and crew did a Great Job! The inspection was passed and finishing crew come Monday to finish stucco and put buttons in windows…
They did good work.
Efficient and very effective; clean and professional. Exceptional service by them!
The windows are very solid and very attractive. The installers were very, very professional. We were hesitant to have them done at first, but now that the job is done, we are glad we did it.
The windows look great but they damaged my wall outside and didn't bring it to my attention they left my house covered in dust not happy
No comment
Installers very personable and knowledgeable
HomeFix Custom Remodeling Tampa is poor in communication and workmanship. We are still waiting for $3000 from the company. We have been trying to get this resolved since May 31st. We have not received our wind mitigation paperwork. We were supposed to get a free trip, but we have not received information about that. Because we received no assistance from Brooke, this was escalated to Will. We have been trying to get a response from him going back to July. We have numerous text messages that have gone unanswered. We want our $3000, and we want our wind mitigation certificate so that we could provide to our insurance company. We want this matter resolved. I will be reporting this company to the Better Business Bureau and I will be following up with the CEO.
All the guys were VERY friendly and nice.
The team came in and replaced our old windows with the new ones and they look so pretty. Now we feel more safe and better prepared for storms in our area.
The team is very professional and did a fabulous job with the installation and cleanup. Great job!
The installers came on time and were very professional. Our windows look great and are doing their job at keeping noise and heat at bay. It has made a huge difference in our living room where the heat would come in through our large set of windows. Our living room is significantly cooler now with our new windows. Now we can enjoy our living room in comfort.
HomeFix Custom Remodeling Tampa provides thorough, quality work! The job site was kept clean. I received updates on the progress of the project. I couldn't of been happier!
I just had the doors installed yesterday. I like the way they look and how easy the doors work.
I am very pleased with the work. They did very well. We were very pleased with how quickly it was done, and how good it looks.
the material and workman ship are good but when they left I found rubbish and nails around the house as well as cigarettes' butts in yard.
Very unhappy that the Homefix contractor/crew damaged my fascia, broke the post by my front door, left a mess behind and there may be a new leak because there's a new spot on my ceiling which is another project ! Met with a representative who said they could take care of it for additional costs and so now I am getting estimates for repairing the fascia ! Don't think I can make a recommendation ?
There was nothing in this experience that was exemplary. By and large it was tedious and aggravating.
The final price doesn't agree with what we received from the agent.
HomeFix Custom Remodeling followed through on all of their commitments. We are happy with the project.
Too much time to get the materials.
The sales presentation and contract ( in early August) stated the material needed for job would arrive at the end of November or early December
I put deposit of $17,000 down. By the middle of December I started calling phone numbers and leaving messages.. I got no replies or answers. Fortunately, I had gotten the salesman cell number and started calling him for a week. I finally got a text that he no longer worked for the company . Then about a week later after further calls leaving messages , I received a text explaining about material shortages and shipping problems. Which , I did know if some problems but still wanted to know when, as 17k since Aug was worrying me
Finally got a text and a phone call that material was due to arrive end of January, which it did in Jan 25, 2023
Material did show up and a call said the application crew would arrive the following Monday . The crew did show up and start the work. They did have an excellent application crew that worked every day and finished applying the soffit and vinyl siding. These guys were good
They finished on Tuesday Feb 7 th. And did an excellent job
As they were leaving, I ask why there were roughly 7 boxes of material left over and they said that I owned it…as far as they knew
Within the hour I was receiving a call from Home fix rep ( somewhere out of the state, I live in Fla) wanting to take the money from my account.
The contract did call for payment upon completion. I said as soon as the final inspection from the county was signed… I would ok withdrawal .. which she got on the phone and got me copy of signed off permit
I then ask her if I was due a credit for these 7 boxes of material and caulk in my driveway, she said NO. That they order an extra 18% of the material needed over and above there estimated amount that they figure from aerial shots of your house. She said they coul pick it up and store it for us for any future needs or we just keep it
That part was nowhere in the contract about material nor any breakdown of how much material . I had to give them $17000 down for material. So 18% of 17,000 equals $3060 dollars, I tried to reason and maybe settle but no deal. They then proceeded to take the balance out of my checking account. Not a happy camper about that.
The job itself is finished and did turn out nicely
And I am satisfied with the work
But, I feel like as if they did not explain or put that in the contract. So , any one using them should ask I paid the bill in full, was sent my warranty papers another 33k. I wonder if they added 18% to labor fees, just because
If anyone has questions. 727-515-1951
Or if Home Care would like to further explain to me
good work and sales was very informative
Overall experience was not as expected and was very frustrated with the timeframe and the multiple rescheduling of the installs. The materials and install of the project were satisfactory.
The follow-up from the salesperson was terrible, but customer service and installation were great.
I was very satisfied with HomeFix Custom Remodeling.
HomeFix Custom Remodeling of Tampa was very professional, completed the work in a timely manner, and we were very pleased with the gutters we got installed.
Definitely worth the wait. We think they did an excellent job of installation and the windows and doors are of very good quality.
I have already recommended them to my neighbor.
I would recommend HomeFix to my friends and co workers they are easy to work with and do great work.
I feel it was overpriced, considering they subcontracted the work out. I was told it would be their own crew, but it was not.
My windows still don't look good, and they're still not fixed. There was a problem with communication at the installation. The guy who took the pictures said that the office should contact me, but I have not heard from them. There were a lot of flaws, and it was not professional at all.
They were very professional and the windows look great.
Disappointed with the roof installation.
