We discovered Homemasters because they are an Owens Corning preferred contractor. We liked the idea of using Owens Corning Duration shingles because they are a Consumer Reports recommended product. Everyone we dealt with were easy to work with from the original estimate, answering questions, delivery of the dumpster, and the roofing work itself. Everything flowed nicely. The crew cleaned up at the end of each day. We felt good that we were in good hands.

Homemasters gave a professional bid without playing games about discounts or specials. Just an upfront bid that was the best price. Everyone we worked with was great. I especially appreciated the office staff always answering the phone and having the answers to my questions.

I've already recommended Homemasters to my daughter, and will do so with anyone who inquires about my roof.

A neighbor and I both had our roofs replaced at the same time (early summer 2023) by Homemasters Portland SW. These were challenging, 100+ year old houses including a roof 3 stories high at the steepest incline. The crews and work were outstanding. They were super efficient, moving from phase to phase with great skill and knowledge, and good communication. At the end of each day they cleaned up debris, which also added to the sense of expertise and attention to details. We talked at the start of the work about specific tight locations for debris that would be pitched from the roof, and there was not a single issue of something damaged. They worked hard and efficiently, and were done with each roof in 2-3 days. The results are fantastic, with again great attention to detail. The person we met with beforehand, Matt Wright, was extremely knowledgeable & experienced, and both direct and matter of fact about trade offs, and proactive about caveats that other contractors were more opaque about. Similar for the owner. Will update this review after the first season of rain ahead, but at this point would highly recommend Homemasters Portland SW.

HomeMasters exceeded my expectations from the first meeting through the dumpster pickup. Great people, great work.

Very pleased with the quality of the work done and the character of the crew which replaced my roof and gutters. The workers were polite and considerate. Example: One night it appeared that rain was due. We had sat down to dinner on our patio so they left and came back after our meal to set a tarp in case of rain. They "did not want to get dust on our dinner." I took that to be an act of kindness and consideration their part and was very appreciative.

Since installation, we have had monsoon like rain, snow and ice. My new roof has withstood it all without fail. Matt, the crews that did the tear off and install, and Edith in the office were way to work with and kept me informed during the whole process.

Homemasters was very organized in how they replaced my roof. Even the initial meeting with the project manager was clearly with someone already thinking about how to get the work done, not with a salesperson trying to figure out how to get me to give them more money. This work-first attitude continued throughout the effort, which was nice. My only complaint is it was sometimes hard to reach them via E-mail with some messages going unanswered for multiple days.

I was very impressed with the professionalism of all of the staff with HomeMasters and am pleased with my new roof.

Roof appears to be good quality and I'm happy with it. The crew worked very hard and did a good job overall. There were a couple of small issues - nails poking multiple inches through the eves on my back porch (only) and an easily resolved sloppy carpentry issue. Matt, the salesman, attempted to tell me that nails poking through the eaves were a requirement of a "certified roof" and that securing board ends together with scrap cut-offs and screws 3 inches too long was the "only way" to join the boards. He told me they were too busy working on other projects to take care of my issues, which isn't what you want to hear after handing over $25k to someone. Eventually, after 8 phone calls and 2.5 weeks, I got them to come and fix the stuff in a half hour (the metal bracket looks a million times better). Definitely left a sour taste in my mouth, but everything was resolved eventually and looks great. There were also several important details that were discussed in the quote and not properly communicated to the crew by Matt. If I hadn't been around to point these things out they would have been much bigger issues.Matt also raised the price of my quote $1700 at the time of signing, saying he had "miscalculated", which felt like a intentional technique. Watch out for that.

I chose the materials, I told them what I wanted, and they did exactly what I asked in a timely manner with no problems.

My experience with Homemasters was amazing. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly. The installers were also clean, knowledgeable, and friendly. Everyone went above and beyond to satisfy my needs. During the process of the roof being put on, till the installers left, everything was spotless and easy. It was great. I am sure my co-worker and neighbor would say the same thing. I recommended them to Homemasters, and they purchased roofs already. It was an amazing experience and extremely easy. The process, the materials, everything was top-notch. My roof looks amazing. I highly recommend Pacific Breeze, if you want your roof to pop in your neighborhood. The color separates itself from the rest of the neighborhood. It looks awesome.

Homemasters was the only company that sat down during the sales call and explained in detail the roofing product, its warranty, and how the work would be done. They also agreed to take down my heavy solar panels which other roofers said they couldn't help with. Their management staff and workers were prompt, courteous, and respectful of my plants and the rest of the house and yard. Great job Homemasters!
