They were able to do a timely installation. My roof was done in three hours.
They did a very good job, and I was very impressed.
Make sure to stay on them to come back for leaks and windows fogging up.
Another company had previously completed other windows for us. The quality of HomeZone Improvements is far superior.
I am very pleased with the installation crew. I am not so pleased with how the salespeople represent the company.
Project still isn't completed after 2 attempts due to manufacturing error. Communication has been slow in getting the issue fixed.
Although everyone that we worked with was very nice, I would not recommend to anyone due to the length of time to get the windows actually installed and it took two additional visits before the picture window was installed properly and locked properly....This process took several more months that what was promised and/or expected, we signed the contract in November 2021 and the last visit to replace the incorrect window took place in October 2022 - UNACCEPTABLE.
Great people to work with from the beginning to the end!
They are very professional and clean up after themselves.
They are the best and I absolutely love them!
I would recommend. Without a doubt they took care of us without a hassle and in timely matter.
I would definitely consider them for a quote when comparing companies.
I was disappointed with the one basement window that originally was set up as a window (1/2 pane) and a laundry vent. I was not told by either the salesperson or the individual officially doing the window measurements that it couldn't be replicated but with a new window. When the installer came to install the windows, the only option presented was to remove the window pane, insert sheet metal and cut a hole for the laundry vent. I was so unhappy with the resolution, especially spending almost $5,000. I instructed the installer not to proceed and I had to spend an additional $300 to have the laundry vent installed through the foundation. In addition, there are windows with marks on them that wouldn't come off with Windex and one of the screens was ripped. Although it didn't impact me specifically, I was so surprised that the basement windows were measured inaccurately; especially since they were measured by both the salesperson and the "official" measurer, prior to ordering the windows.
I have already done a rating on their website.
I think the guys did fantastic work. They were very professional.
I have already recommended HomeZone Improvements to two friends with upcoming projects.
Excessive wait time for scheduling and install
They did a good job. They came in and they cleaned up after themselves. I had no complaints.
Signed contract in October 2021 and was told gutters would be installed by December 2022. Almost a year later, and gutters still not installed.
The quality of work wasn't good. It was things the installer didn't do but I didn't know to look for to say it was done incorrectly.
Great work, fast, friendly, and I am very impressed.
Horrible experience from scheduling to completion. Still working through issues that were caused during install from two months ago.
From start to finish, professional, courteous service. Very pleased with the overall experience! AND our windows!
It took a long time to deliver material. They did not even deliver all of the materials. It took over two months for me to get a shower door. I am waiting for one shower door and I could nut even use my shower for over two months. Once they did deliver the door it was not what I ordered. No one told me that the door that I ordered was out of stock.
I have already recommended them to my neighbor. They have a HomeZone sign in their yard right now.
I would recommend home zone to friends as they were recommended to me by a friend. They were professionals and reasonably priced. Whole house full of windows in my budget.
Our project (roof, gutters, shutters, siding, insulation) took almost exactly a year to complete from the time we signed our contract. The original estimate was 8 -10 weeks for the roof and 16-18 weeks for the rest. We ended up having to go with our third choice for the roof shingle color/pattern as the first two were not available - I do not fault HomeZone for this as the pandemic created a lot of availability issues and other companies we had talked to had the same issue. The roof was completed around the 18 week mark - see #4 Communication - for more details on how that went. The rest was started around the 9 month mark, in mid March, which created ruts in our lawn that are still there. About 80% of the work was done and then it was discovered the wrong materials had been delivered - the remaining materials were a different color than ordered and didn't match. Unfortunately, the right materials were not available, although when I finally did get someone to call me back, I was assured they were looking. The project was halted and materials left in place, which killed sections of the lawn and also several plants (this part of the project was done in late March, before the plants were up. By the time it was completed in late June, the plants were goners. Unfortunately, because the gutters were removed at the start of the project and we had no gutters for 3 months, we got water in our basement in the corner during a couple of hard spring rains. When some matching materials were finally located in early June, we were asked to pay for the additional $800 in freight to get them here. That was completely unacceptable and we told them so. They called back, apologized, and got the materials here. The project was finally finished. A few handfuls of dirt and grass seed were tossed on one section of the dead grass, but never sprouted as we were on vacation when the project was finished.
They were proficient and did what they said they would do in a timely fashion.
They were very efficient, clean, and communicated well.
They didn't clean up the nails very well.
Had to pick up after them, didn't finish flashing, when they replaced the boards, they missed the studs. Still waiting for them to come out and finish
Although there was a shower glass door issue, Homezone was in contact with us during the time. The worker was very efficient.
The product and the installation was superior. Very quick too which makes it easier to manage.
The job is still not completed yet. It took a little longer. I have an issue with the door, and I have some other issues, and I'm going to address them the next time they call me.
The job was really tough, and I am not sure if that was a problem. I am not sure if things did not turn out well because of the layout of the home, and that would not be on them. There are certain finishing things that did not turn out as I had envisioned.
Professional and friendly.
Love the windows and sill that they put in. The sill even holds my, was mildly obese cat, who's now 12.8 pounds. Very good job!!
Troy was professional and excellent at his work and suggestions. He is always on time.
Installers were Awesome and Fast!!! Windows Are Great!!!!
great product and installation
Great communication and great product for the money. Crew was on time and professional and treated my space respectfully and cleaned up great at the end of the project!
no
The windows for the upstairs that were ordered previously were good. Now in the downstairs, they are half-screens and I have to pay to have them replaced. The half screens were not presented to me when we ordered. They have poor communication.
We feel our only real issue is the loss of our window sills. When we asked about installation and how the windows would fit in the space we were told they would sit on the window frame / sill like the old ones did. It would of been nice to have the info on how much of the sill would be covered
I talked to everyone in my neighborhood about HomeZone so everyone is aware of them.
