1. Purchased Aug 2024 and was told work would be done in 2024 so planned accordingly. Work not done still so tax credit for 2024 is not available
2. No response to multiple phone calls and email
3. Roof replaced early Dec again multiple phone calls and emails no response
4. Early Jan asked to sign new contract as roof required more shingles additional cost of 2 k, refused and after back and forth finally agreed to complete at original price which I now believe to be inflated
THIS IS THE WORST COMPANY I HAVE EVER WORKED WITH
Very hard to communicate. Calls and emails are not returned.
The Rep was great but the Roofers left nails, garbage and materials everywhere and didn't come back for a month to clean up... by the point I had already done that... the electrician were very rude and left a hole in the side of my house.
Would recommend with reservations. See comments below.
The Infinity team was great about answering our questions up front and giving us the time we needed to come to a decision. Having a single team responsible for the entire job streamlined the process from financing to installation.
The Infinity sales people were very nice an knowledgeable.
A few people asked us about our project and I tried to get someone from Infinity to contact them to se if they would also be eligible. I was told that the sales people would contact me. That never happened and my friends weren't given a chance to also get solar panels. I would not recommend Infinity doesn't seem to be recruiting new business.
After we were approved for our work, we didn't hear from them for long periods of time. I began to email them multiple times to get the work scheduled.
Very poor communication. Toke 6 months to get work done.
the installers were ontime and quick and courtious
Frustration with communication and delay in finishing the project are the main reason for the rating.
Yes I would recommend infinity solar.
Customer service and communication is severely poor. No follow up and terrible response time.
No. I am going to have to redo the electrical before I sell my house.
My main complaint is about timelines and communication.
Everything works, but on reflection, I feel like I spent too much. The tax break helped a lot but still too much, imo.
It’s my opinion that this company is very busy and sometimes without adequate technical staff to do follow up etc
Most of the things that they told us were false
Infinity Solar's communication is very poor. They are very hard to reach to get resolutions to major problems that are occurring on the job site. The roofing was subcontracted out and resulted in numerous problems. Solar plans were changed on the same day as the installation (as holes were being drilled to mount the panel frames!). To this day, the system does not product anywhere near what was contracted (13kw system contracted, but only produces 10kw on the sunniest of clear summer days). It is a year later, and we are still waiting on resolution to the solar production problems as well as the roofing install problems and damage.
Because of the difficulty with customer service, overall, I'm unlikely to recommend.
