Insulated Wall Systems, Inc. replaced all the siding, soffit and facia on our rental property. Additionally, they made all the needed repairs to the sheathing underneath, trim and chimney. While they were off anyway, we also had them replace the gutters and paint everything.

After getting quotes from four contractors I selected Insulated Wall Systems for the job which included replacing existing siding, gutters and downspouts and painting the whole house. We also ended up replacing much of the soffits and fascia with Hardie products as well. The quoting process went very well and John was able to provide a very detailed breakdown of the costs as well as pricing for some optional scope of work. Everything was laid out very clearly for what the scope of work included. We had to work with our HOA for approval on some items which was time consuming but John was very patient and worked with us thru the process. Once work started, the crews were very professional. As expected with a job of this size not everything was perfect and there were a few issues that came up but they were all resolved quickly and to my satisfaction. Additional work that came up during the job (ex. wood rot that was not evident until old siding came off) was quoted fairly and resolved quickly. I feel very confident in the functional quality of the work that was done and that it was done to Hardie specifications and done right. I'm a very detailed person and there were a few cosmetic items that could be improved but these were minor and most people probably would have never noticed (and after a few weeks I probably won't anymore either). End of the day I am very happy with the end result and I feel John and Insulated Wall Systems provided a tremendous value for the scope of work completed. I would definitely recommend.

John was the person I worked with. It was his crew that did the work. He is a straight shooter and a straight talker. There were no surprises. He took care of everything better than I expected. I am 100% pleased with the outcome. I was not happy about spending the money, but I know I checked into vinyl siding, and this product is a lot better and will last longer. It came out cheaper than the vinyl. I will recommend them every chance I get.

I would advise any homeowner that is considering John Tabor to do their house, not to do it. His workers are unreliable, the workmanship they perform is subpar. If you pay him in advance, you will never see him again. This man took over $22,000 from me with a smile, and promised to do work that was never completed. It has been three months now from the time of payment, and my house is left to mold and rot to the elements.

I had received a few quotes on replacing the siding on my home from four different installers. I decided to go with Insulated Wall Systems because the quote provided by Mr. Tabor was very detailed, the company has been a certified Hardi installer for over 15 years, their satisfaction rating was the best, and last but not least, their price was the best. The project went as planned and was completed in a timely fashion. Any questions I had were answered entirely. I couldn't be more pleased with how the project turned out. had had many bad experiences with contractors, but John made sure any problems were communicated to me and dealt with. There was a lot of structural water damage and I am so glad that they didn't just ignore it like I believe some other contractors have done. I had a new front door and large picture windows replaced about six years ago and all of the wood around those was rotten and had to be replaced before they could proceed with the siding and other window replacement. It was an all around pretty positive and painless project.

John Tabor came out to my house and spent a considerable amount pf time analyzing the condition of the existing siding and what extra's that I wanted performed. I asked John to quote the project as replacing the siding with pre-primed James Hardie Products and Sherwin-Williams Paint. I also asked him to provide optional price adders for preforming extras, such as replacing rotting window sills, brick molding for several windows, and additional siding on a recently added deck roof gables to match the new siding to be installed.John's quote was very professional and detailed with all my requests addressed.Long and short of it ......... John provided a quote that contained very competitive and affordable pricing.His crew members are very detailed oriented and professional, they provided a great installation. The finish product - siding and paint job - made our 24 year old house look brand new once again.

Worst contractor I have ever dealt with, will not even install siding according to manufactures specs. Voids warranty by installing siding directly on the ground allowing termites, vermin and moisture to destroy the house. Does not leave 4inches of slab to ground as per building codes and manufacturers specifications. Will gladly share photos of incompetent work.
