We did an entire home window and door replacement. From sales rep to installers to painters, all was done with much professionalism, patience and fairness. We did have a couple of hic cups but was almost expected with a large job. Also, Pella Windows was great working with. Our large picture window in living room had to be redone due to smudges inside the glass. No issues with getting that replacement.

During the project itself, we had some communications breakdowns a few times, but JD Hostetter always resolved any miscommunications in our favor and made sure we were taken care of. I wouldn't hesitate to hire them again and recommend them, but providing a better project timeline, status reports, and more clear check-ins would bump this up to a five star experience.

JD Hostetter & Associates did an amazing job on our house! They were on schedule and communicated well during the process. We are so pleased with the work they did.

They were able to do exactly what I needed at a fraction of the cost others quoted. They fixed a bad vent in my siding that was causing a leak all while saving the existing siding so I would not have to reside the house. That saved me $1000’s over what others wanted to do and so far no more leak!

I had an excellent experience working with JD Hostetter. I hired them to do a complete re-side of my home with Hardie lap siding. Tom and Tony were great to work with and the different crews working on the project did an outstanding job. The quality of the work was top notch and I would highly recommend them!

After meeting with two other contractors, we settled on JD Hostetter to install new windows, gutters, and Hardie siding. After seeing the results of their work, we made the right choice. They replaced our worn-out, Tudor-style Masonite siding with a combination of Hardie Select Cedarmill lap siding and staggered-edge shake siding. What an improvement! The installers were top-notch, and the project manager was extremely attentive to our needs and promptly addressed any hiccups that came up along the way, which inevitably do with any project of this magnitude. Even a few of our neighbors have stopped by to comment on the improvements. Great job!

We got several estimates for the job. JD Hostetter was not the cheapest but they were by far the most professional and knowledgable. The "salesperson" knew all the ins and outs of the job and could also answer all of our questions. He didn't try to upsell us like the other companies and even told us when we didn't need something that we thought we needed. In that regard, they saved us a lot of money. Overall I am very satisfied with my project with JD Hostetter. My house looks great. I had old wood siding removed and replaced with James Hardie fiber cement siding. My house was painted. A new front storm door was installed. The crew was punctual, hard working and professional. My sales rep was very thorough and helpful. The project was completed on time and at the agreed price. The only thing that could have been better was the neatness of the painting. I found some paint splatters on windows and bricks.
