Jenkins Restorations does not follow-up with the work intended or performed. They do not monitor their subcontractors well. Project Manager lacked any follow-up with us as the homeowner regarding repairs, project status, or phone calls/texts placed with him
Work is still not complete.
Jenkins failed to tell us that they would be unwilling to repair the severely damaged cabinet from our water leak. They brought in blowers to dry things out. When we followed up to ask when they would come to fix the cabinet, they told us that it was too small a job for them to do.
No I would not this has been a horrible experience and took way too long to complete and then was not even completed to our satisfaction.
Jenkins did good work. I don’t like how it started. USAA is in part at fault for that. I may recommend them.
Very good attention to detail.
Aaron & Mondo were exceptionally considerate the way their team handled our things. The drying out of our floor went well and on a timely fashion, however the repair work was not completed. During the time of the repair work I would get a call from Andrew telling me that he would show up at a certain time or call back at a certain time and I wouldn’t hear from him again for months. They tore out our sink and stuck a new one in its place without anything to connect it with. They took all the hardware with the old sink, which was new, (I had just replaced the garbage disposer and put in all new fixtures and plumbing), and left me with nothing to connect the new one with. I did all the plumbing and I’m not a plumber, I had to patch holes in the walls that they made and do all the painting, and you got it, I’m not a painter. The counter top is poor quality even though we were promised good quality material. I spent money replacing everything and 200 plus hours of my time trying to get our house back in order.
Their response time was slow.
I had a great experience with Jenkins Restoration. They communicated the process well and stayed in touch with me to ensure my satisfaction along the way. They did an amazing job assessing the work needed, giving me options of materials to use, installing the floor and the finishing touches! Completely satisfied!
I hope no home owner has to experience what I did. But thankful Jenkins did expedite the repairs.
Lack of communication, I still have cabinets that need brackets for the shelves. The floor is bulking and we have to keep hammering down the vinyl planks (was told this would be fixed and has not been) and pops every time you walk across the floor. The sheet rock does not meet the counter top, has holes in places.
Can't say enough good things, prompt, courteous, professional, friendly, on time, consistently called to keep me informed. If they said they'd be at my house at a certain time they were...customer service was fantastic.
They did a good job.
The job isn't done yet. There is a hole in one tile that needs to be replaced. And two chipped tiles that something needs to be done with.
They came in and did the job. There was one guy that knew what to do. The other two guys didn't really know what was happening. It was a slow process.
The manager, Daniel Edwards, was absolutely phenomenal. He helped me throughout the entire time, even though he wasn't the one working on my house.
The work was performed professionally and diligent.
Putting aside how long it takes to get materials - Andrew and the crew that came out were friendly, respectful and did a fantastic and quick job. Andrew (PM) was responsive and went above and beyond to get windows.
Jenkins Restoration has no follow through, and they don't call back. They contracted my job out, and they didn't do what they were supposed to be paid for. There is no communication. They did a lousy job. It was lousy workmanship, and they called me a lair.
I’ve already told several people who like our end result and wanted to know who did it that I will not be recommending our service provider due to so many frustrating points!l and overall lack of profession.
We had serious water intrusion and restoration issues at a rent property during Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays and an important birthday for the tenant. She was also expecting houseguests to celebrate with her!
We were very thankful for Jenkins' awareness of required and timely steps to take which they clearly outlined to us. Their subsequent dedication to the professional completion of those tasks as quickly as possible was remarkable considering calendar pressures.
As a remote owner I was panicked because this huge project needed a manager and I couldn't be there. Jenkins provided that with project oversight and reporting to me. Our tenants had to move out while the entire first floor was replaced. Jenkins provided everything needed for that and work hard to accommodate our schedules and needs. We were very grateful for their dedication to mutual goals
All employees of Jenkins Restorations were professional and did a good job, the 3rd party, not so much.
The project managers don't ever reply back when you try to get in touch with them and they push the job back farther than they need to.
I think they were overextended and took on too many jobs and therefore were not able to properly manage their crews. The project manager had a great personality and did great work when present but was a no-show more than 50% of the time and the employees and subcontractors did not do a good job when he wasn't there. Sometimes they did things in area that did not need work (???,what were they thinking) and many times things that had been documented and then employees sent out to address, were still not completely done when the employees left as they did not use their eyes to see if they had gotten everything or not and were apparently were unaware of the scope of the work that needed doing.
good job and quick, very helpful workers
