Jenkins sent a team out to our house right away to help with restoration after a burst pipe damaged our finished basement. Ali and Aeremy were so knowledgeable, hard working and kind. They came and assessed the trouble and were returned soon after with the necessary equipment to get the drying out process started. They were on top of communication with me and kept me informed of each step in the process. I felt completely at ease that they were taking care of the situation and they made this nightmare a little less awful. No one could have done more to help. I would highly recommend this team if you have a water disaster that needs to be cleaned and dried properly to avoid mold and contamination. They really know their stuff!! Thanks for everything, you guys are the best!!
There were some experiences that were pleasant and very professional. For example-Nigel, the lead on the cleanup team was very courteous, paid close attention to detail and our needs. In addition, he was very flexible with out needs as we try to navigate through a family tragedy. However, Carlos the lead for the construction team was almost entirely the opposite. His team did average to below average work, and Carlos was not responsive at all and not flexible. In fact, there were several times where the time and date was set for work and they never showed, did not call to let us know either. To date, as of today July 5th 2022 over 4months into the process the work is still not complete. Also, a few weeks back I sent an email with some detailed questions to Nigel and have not heard anything back. I am surprised that a company that takes care of such issues that are so sensitive in nature can perform in such a manner.
One of the best experiences of working with a contractor to repair/restore issues with my home.
The kitchen and washroom floors were well done. Other repairs were less than perfect.
Within nine months of buying my first home, I had extensive water damage due to flooding from an adjacent condo. Jenkins worked with my insurance company and my mortgage company to ensure everything was in order. It was an overwhelming situation and I see that it would have been so much more difficult without all of the effort Jenkins put in to get things done. I had lots of questions. I changed my mind multiple times throughout the process. I know I was not an easy customer for them but they were very helpful and got me through a terrible time. We faced multiple delays - none of them Jenkins's fault - but they got me back on track and fixed up quickly once insurance gave us the green light to continue. Everything looks great.
i have not head back what do you all my reply would be i will leave it up to you all have a nice day
Jenkins Restorations provide a great service restoring our home after a fire. I would highly recommend them for any restoration need.
Jenkins hired quality craftsmen to handle the necessary repairs after the flood. Excellent work.
Jenkins Restorations provided excellent service and good communication throughout the process.
Jenkins talks well and promises the world; from the initial emergency to final walk through I dealt with 4 different employees as you go through the initial fire to final walk through. Problem is one does not talk to the other and I had to stay on top of the final general contractor almost daily. Bottom line is they completed the job satisfactory.
I would possibly recommend Jenkins. The work was done well. However, the customer service response was lacking. My insurance adjuster let me know that he was having a hard time obtaining the details he needed to build his estimates. I also called Jenkins regarding restoring my place and did not get a call back until I had someone call me about coming to get the a piece of the floor that the your employee forgot to take with him.
Our house caught fire and needed a complete rebuild. Jenkins restorations was not only professional, but also caring about our hardship. They were extremely communicative every step of the process and went above and beyond to make sure things were done correctly. There were a few things, that needed to be corrected along the way, and they immediately made it right. I was so impressed with the quality of work and attention to detail. Additionally, Jenkins Restoration did a fantastic job of coordinating with our insurance on the build. They took a lot of the work out for us and helped us make the best of a bad situation. I would gladly recommend them to a friend in the future.
Very poor service. Employees didn’t follow specifications, established industry standards.
Ignored our instructions. No supervision oversight or quality control.
The quality of work was good, but the scheduling wasn't so good.
The reason I wouldn't dissuade someone from choosing Jenkins is that we have had 2 experiences with them: a significant house fire in 2008 and a 2021 tree falling on house incident that they recently finished. One of those experiences (fire) they did a great job. We had a project manager who was here several times a week. Extremely responsive and communicative, even if mistakes were made here and there. In our most recent experience, it was quite the opposite - I didn't see our project manager once in the last 6 months of our project (except to pick up a check for Jenkins a couple times). Communications was poor at best - nothing from project manager except when repeated calls texts emails finally generated a response.
So my advice would be: if you are considering Jenkins, which is a perfectly reasonable choice, please take the time to interview the actual construction project manager. Set clear expectations around communications, deadlines, etc. If you feel comfortable with the responses then have at it. But note that I thought I did the same and did not get the desired results, as my email chain with that person makes clear.
Jenkins was very helpful with all the changes I wanted made in the restoration process.
While Covid supply chain issues impacted completion timelines Jenkins Restorations stayed in contact with all parties and provided frequent updates. Some subcontractor miscommunications when promptly corrected.
I would recommend Jenkins Restorations
I am so delighted that I used Jenkins Restoration. They have been nothing but incredible. Patiently waiting on insurance and responding to every communication.
Jeremy Rogers and his professional attention were unparalleled to other companies.
He was punctual and very helpful in guiding me through the entire restoration project.
I highly recommend them.
Very supportive and friendly approach, responded to every question in a professional and friendly manner.
After working with Jeremy Rogers, who was our project manager, I would have no reservations in recommending Jenkins Restorations to family and niebhors
I would say that Jenkins restoration did a great job establishing the installation service project. However, they were horrible to follow up with open issues and I had to chase them down to get service issues resolved. They still have not been resolved.
Jenkins Restorations' office was great, but the subcontractor was not so good.
I most definitely will recommend Jenkins Restorations to a friend. The project manager was Caleb Lantz and he made the process of restoring our guest room without stress. He sent over the qualified people to repair the damaged ceiling and the crew also did a beautiful job of painting the room. Caleb was always available to take our calls.
I Truly liked how Sean and his team focused on their part with rebuild (after house burned down) , helping to make our choices more easier and staying in contact about every step along the way. He would get back to me with a couple of days and taking the time to reply rather than just brushing my concerns away-understanding I was also selling this house. so THANK YOU! And I pray you continue to serve with Servant's heart because "the work is plenty and the works few." Everything you do-truly makes a difference in our Journey.
The work was delayed almost 24 hours after the loss occurred. This gave the damage a head start. Also, the issue of the water on the wall to wall carpet was never really addressed, in fact, we had to point out that damage to the tech.
Right from the beginning of the job we did not seem to have adequate equipment, due to what the tech described as "a big job in DC."
Again with contractors some workers are good some are not. I felt like I was being listened to when I made known problems but that the response wasn’t there to follow up! I think you guys are probably an average company out there.
Exceptional service, highly recommend
We went through 3 different advisors from Jenkins Restorations. They could not get it right. We are unimpressed with who do the field surveys.
Jenkins Restorations restored our home after a flood. They were very easy to work with, responsive, and all the work they performed was very high quality.
Very courteous and professional. Answered questions and listened.
The actual work done was great. Had two instances that caused lack of trust, but in the end, their customer service made it right.
Our experience was not the best at the beginning. Thankfully, we were assigned a new project manager , Will Catts, that turned everything around for the best.
William was very professional and responsive throughout the project. He answered all my the questions and / concerns in a timely manner. The process was very smooth. The repairs were completed as planned and the workmanship was to right standards. I highly recommend Jenkins Restorations to anyone.
We have engaged Jenkins Restorations before and were completely satisfied with their responsiveness, capability and professionalism. We are looking forward to working with them again to restore our home after a fire.
Jeremy is super responsive and very professional
They were very efficient and did a good job.
Jenkins Restorations was very professional.
This is the second time we have used Jenkins’s. They handle large or small jobs with competence and superior customer service.
Jenkins Restorations was kind and considerate.
Inexperienced salesman.
Jenkins Restorations was timely, had quality work, and didn't have any issues with scheduling appointments. Quality, timing, and anything of that nature. I would strongly recommend them to family and friends because I know working with contractors is pretty stressful. The fact that they hit all of those areas is pretty amazing.
The cleanup created more work than if I had done it all myself in the first place.
The overall professionalism of the company.
Project Manager Andrew Jenkins was great -- communicative, punctual, professional and competent.
While the restoration crew that came to the house was personally nice, their work ethic was poor and they did not properly complete the job.
I am actually not ready yet to leave a recommendation because I recently discovered a crack in my granite countertop and Will is in process of helping me get it rectified. Please reach out to me afterward. Thank you!
I used Jenkins for two incidents that happened within weeks of each other. The project manager, Jenkins staff, and contractors were great to work with.
Ultimately, I as satisfied with the work performed. Jenkins helped to identify creative solutions to address the problem areas and executed the job at a competitive price. Hesitancy to recommend is driven by the fact that part of the job had to be performed twice to reach a satisfactory final result. Likelihood of recommending would probably depend on the particular job.
Jenkins was recommended to me and because of the great customer service and quality work, we would recommend to others.
I felt like our experience with them was less than ideal. The communication was lacking. We did not feel like we were taken care of as a customer.
