From first contact, to the completion of the job, polite, professional and prompt. I am pleased with the overall appearance of my new roof and the clear attention to detail that was paid during installation. The upper floor of my home needed all new plywood and the removal of the old material (particle board) caused a tremendous mess because it broke apart so easily. I thought for sure I would easily find pieces of particle board throughout my yard, but I did not. At one point, I saw installers on hands and knees picking up pieces by hand. The clean-up was incredible. Please know that I cannot comment on the durability of the roof as it is all brand new. However, I can tell you that I know Owens Corning makes quality materials. It's one of the main reasons I went with JL Roofing & Siding for my new roof.

JL replaced our main house roof and garage roof due to a leaking front dormer so the roof would match completely from the road (otherwise a large area around the front would have had to be patched and visible from the road). They also replaced the existing vinyl siding on the dormers, the garage A frame and the front porch end returns. Joe King was the sales person. Joe was professional and worked around my busy work schedule to meet several times with me. Tom was the Project Manager. Tom visited the house several times throughout the day to make sure all work was going smoothly. We are very happy with how the work turned out. I obtained two other estimates and JL's pricing is reasonable. We would recommend them to others for roofing and siding work.

The sales representative said someone would call me. The office manager was confrontational and said I wouldn't even give the check to the man. I would give a $9,000 check to a man I never met.

Quote was fair when compared to two other roofing quotes. Workers came around 7:30 am and worked straight through to clean up (around 6:30 pm). Owner was on site throughout the day and was detailed in answering the many questions we had. The next day the owner was back to do a "comb through" before signing off on the job. Was impressed from the first meeting, very easy going no-pressure sales, was willing to accommodate any special request, and thoroughly explained the materials and process. The Owens Corning shingles appear to be high quality for a reasonable price. Site was cleaned up when they were done for the day and crew was very polite. On top of that they came in with the lowest quote with the highest quality materials.

I have had neighbors driving by that were impressed that my bushes were covered and protected, that they were checking everything in the dark with flashlights when the job was finished.
