We were told JMC is a high quality local builder but when it came down to getting a third party inspector there was a lot of push backs. When we purchased the house and got our own third party inspector, it was not received well. For a company that boasts about a local builder with a reputation, I was surprised that they were so aggressive about me getting a third party inspector. We were assured certain things would be resolved they still are not resolved. It would have been appreciated to have the knowledge that the heat pump parts were going to work that way and the noises were permanent.

The garage service door gap. I have complained about this and was not addressed. This the proper way to create ventilation. This creates future damage to the homes from pests, rodents, and rainwater coming in through the gap.

The dryer ventilation is oval shape. This creates challenges to installation of dryer appliances as all dryer host comes in circle shape.

My driveway cement has chips and cracks. I mentioned during my first walk through. I will include it in my 30 day walk through to get it fixed.

I guess the bare minimum in service is what we get for $719,250 in Roseville when your water lines hammer in the attic when the irrigation shuts off, then place a band aid to fix it as usual. The front entry room has leaked on both sides, no the third time on the right side! No more band aids, tear off the roof, flashing, and give us what we paid for! This is Bull shit…

Maybe it is what it is but these are "mass production" homes, built in a hurry to be sold quickly to recuperate the cost.. No TLC
For investment, for flipping it or renting it, it maybe OK but hard to get the feel of "my sweet home" from the way the escrow and after care were handled.

I am generally satisfied with the outcome of the purchase. Everything flowed nicely with no real issue. If there was an issue, it was covered right away.

We had some minor problems but the new customer service manager was nice to fix them in the timely manner.

I would have been more likely to recommend JMC Homes to a friend if they had come through with a repair for something that was obviously caused by their sub-contractor. Whether covered by a warranty or not, the cost to JMC to have the repair done is minimal. Instead, because we didn't see it on any walk through, it is the opinion of their representative that it must have been caused by our negligence. It is obvious from where the damage is, that it was caused by defective workmanship. In the interest of good customer service, the repair should have been taken care of by JMC.

All whom we dealt with were very helpful and accommodating.

Favorite Feature - I don’t know that I can pick one. It’s a beautiful house. I love all the windows at the back of the home (particularly the huge slider), I love the outdoor living room with the fireplace. I love the covered balcony upstairs. I love the large kitchen, I love the way the light comes through the house through windows in every direction. I love the indoor fireplace—this was actually another reason I wanted a JMC home. I love that so many of your floor plans had indoor and outdoor fireplaces

JMC was one of several builders we looked at in the Rocklin-Twelve Bridges-Lincoln area. The lot location, lot size, and floor plan selection was one of the best. Now that we have moved in, JMC's warranty on the home and active after-sales service has given us much peace of mind.

This was very easy and they found the right home for us.

Having purchased multiple new home builds over the years, I have found that the overall sales, qualify, and post-sales processes are very robust. Would not think twice about recommending JMC to a friend.

The problem is, when the sale ends, things change. We were to do steps to the house to go with the degree of the driveway. There is a house across the street with the same degree driveway, and it has steps, we do not, and now we have cracks. It is difficult to update anything, and when you pay JMC to conduct the changes, they arrive and declare they are unable to do so. I had a concern with how wide the fireplace wall was. They said they could make the wall longer, and now they say they cannot do it.

The builder did not give us time to see the house. We saw the house three times throughout it being built.

The house is good. More than we expected. The neighborhood is great.

I think that the building of the homes and the neighborhood are very nice. It's a nice place to buy and live. It's peaceful as far as I know and I appreciate that.
