Heidi was very patient and clear in all of our interactions about contract and billing. And Alex (our site manager) did a great job communicating with us daily the steps and processes. I will warn anyone though, with the current market what it is, this was NOT a quick process. We waited months for work to start, but it was worth it to know our house was in good hands. We had our siding and windows replaced and we were initially nervous at the scope and cost of the project but quality workmanship and the personable customer service made this process a lot less stressful!

From beginning to end, John Anderson Contractor kept me informed on the progress of our work. While there were unanticipated problems with the structure and previous work done by others, JAC was able to rectify the problems and keep the whole project on schedule and on budget. In these days, with many scammers out there, it was comforting to know that I was dealing with a company that would back up their promises, do the job right, and treat us fairly. John and his crew are incredible! We ran into multiple problems which they were able to resolve in ways that far exceeded any expectations. It was a pleasure to have them working on my house and the price was extremely reasonable. They are very hard working and professional in all aspects of the job. The office manager is delightful to work with regarding billing, ordering, and scheduling. There was a steady line of communication between John and us keeping us constantly updated on everything. There is no salesman as John himself comes to evaluated and estimate the project. When we weren't sure of which product to use, he would advise us and bring samples so we could make an educated decision. He is also the project manager. Mr. Anderson was very thorough and provided several options we could proceed with. They were always punctual, paid attention to detail, and completed their work on time. I cannot say enough good things about John Anderson. From start to finish he and his crew were the definition of "professional." Starting with a comprehensive bid that clearly stated the costs of my siding project to the final follow up and inspections with city inspectors, I could not have been more pleased. He also went above and beyond when he discovered that a previous installation of all of the windows in my home had been done improperly. He actually went to bat for me with the company that did the shoddy work in an attempt to make them honor their warranty. We highly recommend John Anderson Building Contractors (JABC). His knowledge of construction and the Hardie products is outstanding. It took us over a year of interviewing contractors to finally choose JABC and we are so glad that we did. Our house has some boards that run diagonal and John recommended a Hardie product called Artisan V-Rustic. Unfortunately this product was not available in Florida - so John drove all the way to South Carolina to pick it up for us! His crew was fantastic – Alex, Andreas, and Frank. They were very meticulous and treated the project like it was their own home. During the construction process, a few issues with the existing house were discovered and they were able to correct these problem areas. John, Heidi, and crew exceeded our expectations.

My wife and I are so happy we selected John Anderson Building Contractor. Their work has made our house look phenomenal. They helped us throughout our entire renovation project not only with their precise work but also with their constant guidance on several things, including the perfect size to use for the Hardie Board siding, fascia, & soffit, along with the trim- even down to the decision for us to change the direction of our siding from vertical to horizontal which was much more cost effective & aesthetically pleasing. By far, the easiest project we have tackled even though it was arguably the largest and most time consuming. John, Heidi, Alex and the rest of the crew went above and beyond our expectations. Communication was great. We were involved on all decisions but also tapped into their experience. At the end of each day, everything was tidied up and if there was a question as to how something should be stored, the crew always asked. They were a great group of guys. We also used some of Johns subcontractors for related projects and were impressed by them. It is obvious that John has high expectations for his employees and anyone he works with. He wants each project to be perfection and I think they achieved that with our home!

I contacted John Anderson from a Angie's List search of contractors who work on siding and windows. John's reviews were all top notch, and I can see why. He is very knowledgeable, and me not knowing everything about the process, filled in all the gaps I had with ease. The quote delivered was very concise and included many options for materials which helped keep the project exactly within the budget I had. Once work began, his crew (all his employees) worked very quickly and made sure to keep the site as neat as possible each day. Even with rain delays, the crew was able to finish up ahead of their estimated completion. You could tell they enjoyed working for John, and it showed in their pride of workmanship. I am very satisfied with the end result!

We hired John Anderson to strip the ancient cedar boards, shingles and casings off our 100-year old house and replace them with new Hardie siding. Our experience with John and his crew has been amazing, actually. From the start, he assured me that we would be completely satisfied with the outcome, and we are. Even with the major disruption while construction was ongoing, the crew was skilled and communicative and pleasant to have around. At the end of each day, they cleaned up thoroughly. Great experience overall with the John Anderson team. I received samples from them to pick from and the initial turn around on the quote was quick. Start time for the project couldn't come soon enough but that's because John Anderson is much requested.The installation was efficient, clean and safe and took less time then anticipated. The end product looks great.

From start to finish it was a job well done. Since I replaced everything from outside to the studs including windows, siding, soffit, fascia, plywood and insulation, it was a big job. Not to mention it was the 2nd floor. All in all very pleased.

Our HOA met with John Anderson after having interviewed a number of other companies, and there was absolutely no comparison. Based on just our initial communications with both John and Heidi, we knew that they were the right company for the job. They are true professionals, and their product knowledge and technical expertise is unmatched. Ours was a complex three-month project, installing Hardie board and new stainless steel flashing on our six-townhouse complex. Their proposal was clear, concise and fair, and every expectation was met or exceeded - they even finished the project ahead of schedule. The crew, led by Jamie, were polite and courteous, and the worksite was cleaned at the end of each day. Our building now looks amazing! If you are considering installing Hardie board, you owe it to yourself to hire John Anderson.

Our job was one of the most complex. It involved the extensive replacement and repair of beams and soffits on a craftsman bungalow. The roof angles were complex, and much damage was hidden. Complicating things, we had to re-roof at the same time. As with any major undertaking like this, there were many issues to be resolved, and the job did not go without issues. However, Mr. Anderson was immediately responsive when any issue arose. He came to our home on Thanksgiving with one of the carpenters on his crew to fix a massive ceiling leak that was not even their fault. I also have to compliment his extremely skilled crew. Their knowledge and their carpentry are rare finds in the construction world. Once they left, we had the feeling that they could pretty much handle any job.
