I am disappointed in the level of professionalism and pride in your work demonstrated by the Just Roofs and Gutters team.

The initial conversations, scheduling, and work were on point. I appreciated the communication you provided as it helped set our expectations properly. Your team performed as expected when completing work on the house and promptly resolved the issue after forgetting to install our gutters. However, the work to replace the roof on our shed, which was part of the agreed upon work, was unacceptable as was your approach to resolving the issues.

Your team used 1 and 3/4 inch nails rather than 3/4 inch nails to replace shingles on our shed. This produced an unsafe and unacceptable interior since the interior ceiling was covered with nails coming through from the shingles. Once we brought this to your attention, your communication and work to resolve was also unacceptable.

Initially, you recommended we nail "old cushions or pillows" to provide a buffer on the ceiling. For us, this option was unimaginable given the mistake was on your side and the solution was unprofessional. After numerous texts and conversations, you sent a crew out to shave down the interior nails. However, this was not done properly and led to another visit in order to finally complete the work. In the end, the craftsmanship on the shed was sub-par and not what we would expect from a professional.

This was my first experience with filing a homeowner's insurance claim, not ot mention hail damage on a shingle roof. Our insurance agent recommended Just Roof and Gutters. We met with Nick and Jeff and they were professional, knowledgeable with easy to understand explanation of the extent of the damage and how to initiate the insurance claim. Unfortunately, I was in the middle of starting a new job and extremely busy. Nick was extremely patient with my slow responses getting back to his questions. He helped us every step of the way to ensure the job was completed to our satisfaction. He really helped make a stressful event easy to navigate and the shingle color he recommended was much better in matching the paint and trim than our original shingles. Do not hire Just Roofs and Gutters. The roofing team: trampled and smashed plants; went on to our neighbors roof and into their yard without permission; left food wrappers and drink containers in our yard. The channel for the ridge vent looks like it was hacked away with a machete. The flashing around our chimney barely passed inspection: to paraphrase the inspector, “when you get this fixed just make sure it does not look like that.” Materials were over ordered and the excess were thrown around and the packaging was damaged negating the possible return of the extras. Overall, the name, Just Roofs and Gutters, implies that this company would be able to tackle any situation relating to a roof and do it well, but this is not the case. Definitely go with another company if you are looking for professionalism and quality.
