They were supposed to do hurricane straps from the roof to the wall. They did not do it. They were backlogged, I believe.  When I asked about it, they said it was too late to put it in. I did mention this to the guy that came out, but he did not do it when he was here doing the project.

Roof replacement looks good but property protection not good Roofers threw alot of old shingles on top of pool screens without protection resulting in metal clips and metal pieces in bottom of swimming pool which left alot of Iron stains in my Fiber glass pool that I cant get out. Spent over $250.00 in chemicals with no luck. Their only remedy was taking off $100.00 off the price of a 21000.00 Roof job. Also my over the Range Microwave stop work had to get service to get it fix and found 6 to 7 good size nails in unit

Zero communication, poor management via office and job foreman

The Owens Corning shingles that were applied withstood 175 mph winds in a hurricane. They are only guaranteed to reach 130 mph. We had gusts of 175 mph or more with sustained hurricane winds of 155 mph or higher. The shingles stayed in place, other than the cap shingles, but every home I've passed has cap shingles missing. That is well above the guarantee.

I was given a “bait and switch” regarding my lanai roof and house roof. I told company that they could install new house roof if they repaired/replaced lanai roof. Our contract shows such (new lanai roof) as did the building permit. A man appeared on a Friday afternoon and asked worker on roof if he would be there on Monday to do lanai roof. Worker replied “si”. NO SHOW ever!Three extremely obese people (2 young men and an older woman) arrived at my home that next week demanding final payment for roof. They then tell me that they will/can not do lanai roof, and that I will not have to pay for it......I should hope not.Building inspector arrived later in day and I told him what happened. He asked to see my contract with company. (The building permit included the lanai roof.) The inspector wanted to be sure that I did not pay for something I did not get! Great guy! He said that his report would included their unethical handling of contract.I asked that the workers NOT to put metal roofing from house on my neighbors lawn. They said that they would remove it right away. Now, there is a large bare area in neighbors lawn. I feel badly about the lies your company made. They left metal there for a week, just long enough to kill grass!That neighbor is getting quotes (in the $100,000.00 to $150,000.00 range) for his new roof. Guess who I told them NOT to use and why. You guessed it....Kennedy Construction Group!I have family in the housing construction business and told them of my terrible experience.I can handle all the bushes that were broken and trampled on as my driveway is narrow. No apologies there either.When I ask one of the white men who supervised please not park on drive, but on gravel outside fence because he was leaking oil from many areas of his pick up truck, he said it was not him....as oil is dripping.Should I go on?Oh, yes, my roof vent does not have a cover on it....where is the water going when it goes down into vent?NO ONE arrived the next week or any other week to fix lanai roof..what liars!I have several RE neighbors and even a family member.......all have been given the lowdown about Kennedy CG.

The quality of the the Owens Corning was great , love the shingles. The crew was quick, professional, knowledgeable, and did a very good job. They kept the grounds cleaned up from the tear off; cleaned up everyday. Our recommendation would be to have better Customer service communication . We signed a contract in Feb and we’re told 3-4 weeks. Ended up 2 1/2 months wait time. We understand there have been supply issues with everything. We would had appreciated updates. And of course cost. We didn’t get an itemized bill. Just a flat rate. But the cost is 2/3 higher than our last roof. It was a tear off and wood was replaced so we expected it to be higher. And we did know the price beforehand. But due to insurance companies pushing for roof replacement, and such higher costs you feel like you’ve been scammed. Not so much this company but all the companies that quoted for us were high. Overall we’re happy with the Owens Corning shingles, “sand.” And the crew really did a great job.

With the caveat that the ladies in the office are not on top of things. At all.

I was pleased with the entire process from the salesman. He came and explained everything and answered my questions about the product. I had many questions about Owens Corning and he answered all of them. It took three months before they could come due to a back log on shingles. When they did come out, it was absolutely wonderful. I understood it would take time. They explained to me the orders were backed up. It went so smoothly. I can't think of any other groups that could do a better job than they did.
