We have used KSI for three separate renovation projects (two bath, one kitchen/half-bath). That alone shows that we have been very happy with the work done. I've found them to be wonderful to deal with, very responsive and professional. We've been thrilled with the results every time.

Mandi and Jill did an AMAZING job. Very helpful, patient and professional. The whole project was stressing me out, but they absolutely made it so easy and smooth. I will be forever grateful and happy everytime I look at my cabinets.

I had made nearly all decisions in advance and just needed the consultant to place the order and do a couple follow ups. I found the number of times I needed to follow up to get those things completed to be very poor customer service.

This is my second experience with KSI and I was very pleased with everything. The designers, delivery, speed, the skill of the contractors were phenomenal. I highly recommend!!

Overall we like our new kitchen. The designer did a good job of developing our suggested layout, bringing new ideas to the table, and helping coordinate selections. She was also very responsive and helpful with issues during the construction (unlike the KSI construction managers, who seemed to want to pat us on the back and tell us what a great job they were going to do, but didn't do anything as far as I could tell). The Merillat cabinets are overall pretty nice, although I'm shocked at how crude the undersides of the upper cabinets are (visible coming up the stairs from the lower level, or sitting at the dining table). I haven't found any cabinets at Ikea, Lowes, or Menards, that are as raw and unfinished underneath, and I'd go to one of those or elsewhere in the future. The installers did a pretty good job, although it was always hard to get updates on when they'd be working or what they'd be doing, and it all took much longer than we were originally told. Finally, KSI insists on being paid about 95% of the cost before hardly any work has happened (50% down, plus 45% when the cabinets are delivered), so you're really trusting them to finish the job with very little to hold them to it.

Jill at KSI Ann Arbor went above and beyond for us during our kitchen remodel. She had to deal with many quality issues with the Merillat Classic cabinet line and deliveries along with issues with Granite City who fabricated our granite counters, but she was always pleasant and willing to help us. It is a shame that you spend so much money on cabinets and have so many quality issues. Merillat needs to do some major quality control.

Jill Johnson, of KSI, worked with us on two projects. She was wonderful to work with on both of them. Her input on design, materials, and installers was spot on and ensured high quality and timely completion of both projects. We are completely satisfied with the experience of working with her and KSI! We have highly recommended Jill and KSI to several friends.
