While the work they did was absolutely incredible, the experience I had is easily the worst I've ever had with a company. A 100K project with a 5 week timeline took over 7 months to complete and it's not even done. I was called multiple times to pay in full when the work wasn't even close to being done, I lost my backyard and my deck for an entire summer because they decided to demo it and leave it demo'd all summer. They put materials in my brand new yard and killed the grass as they didn't use the materials for months. They tried to charge me for materials and work that were included in the original bid. They only reason I made any progress is by making weekly calls, text messages and emails. Without doing so nobody showed up and nobody contacted me, at times for 3 weeks at a time. I could go on but not sure it's worth the trouble. In the end I love the work that was done, dwelling on the past isn't helping move on. Though I'm still picking up nails and glass all over my property because they didn't clean up. My wife's on her 3rd tire since they left because of the glass and nails in our driveway and side of our house.
They left my yard a mess and damaged my wood deck. They never returned to correct paint drippings on my new siding.
There were several incidents of gross negligence on the job site including laying a plank across an entire row of plants for storage. I couldn't believe how poorly they respected my property. Further, I couldn't believe the professionalism during the inspection. I taped off areas I had concerns with and when the owner arrived he sarcastically remarked about the number of things I had pointed out.The quality of work was not to my expectations. They inconsistently cut the corner boards and I had to point that out during inspection. The caulking job performed looked awful and I personally spent several days re-doing it during paint preparation. There are several siding boards less than 4 inches which is C grade workmanship; they should have cut two boards rather than have the small ones stick out like a sore thumb.I had also asked if they came across anything under the existing siding that needed to be fixed to contact me before moving forward. Instead of doing that, they covered a problem area and caulked the bottom of the siding boards to fill a huge gap rather than quoting me to fix it the correct way. Afterwards during the inspection they agreed to take the siding off at my own risk rather than taking ownership of shoddy work.I would not recommend or ever hire this company again.
The staff was very friendly and was industrious and did not waste time and did their job.
The work Landmark did was outstanding. The quality and care they took with our project was great and we are so happy with the finished product.
