The high cost is likely to discourage a majority of people
Great gutters. Every home in this state should have these type of gutters
The installation crew was prompt and explained everything. When something came up, they were able to troubleshoot, and they kept in contact with me. It was a very pleasant experience. We had a leak afterward from a rainstorm, and they came out and fixed that as well.
The gutters look great, but in practice, the water comes over the side of them and ends up splashing the foundation of the house. Also, the installation with Leafguard is expensive. When I look back at the old gutters I had, they were hard to clean, but they kept water from splashing on my home. The new gutters are great, but the water splashes. When a lot of water fills up in the gutters, it overflows the lip and, as a result, splashes over the foundation.
The reason I did not give a 10 is because the gutter system was on for a year and the outside of it got dirty. It looks crummy so I put up an extension ladder and scrubbed it by hand so it would look good.
I was told things would be done that were not, for example that the 2x6 would be cut back to reduce water exposure and rot- they were not. A bunch of mulch etc was also left on the roof after it came out of old gutters, and the problem area was not fully fixed.
They were very professional, came in, took care of the job, and cleaned up their mess.
It is expensive.
I requested that, when I had my Leaf Guard gutters installed, they put barrels to catch the water from the roof. They put two barrels in the backyard, but the drain didn't go into the barrel. The drain went on top of it, so the wind blew the water off and caused flooding in my office. It caused damage to the tune of $12,000. They said it was my responsibility, but I disagreed. They did the job wrong, so the responsibility should be on them. I told them to take the barrels out because I didn't need any more damage. If they did it right, the rain would go into the barrel, and it would be sealed.
They have installed gutters on two of my houses and I am happy with both!
Product works well to keep leaves out but debris tricks to lip and there is intense staining on the lip.
The product seems good, so far. Scheduling and dealing with the office was a challenge. They are not prepared for winter time work in central Washington. Apparently, coming from Seattle area to this side of the mountains is to them like a polar expedition. Work was finally done five months after promised.
i don't really know yet, because we've had so little rain. i don't like the change that was made to a downspout - it's much noisier than it used to be in the old place, but i understand that the installers felt it was too difficult to put yours there?
We are very pleased with the gutters. We think the technology is superior to other solutions. The implementation was, also, superior. My background is in engineering and architecture.
I would recommend as I feel that it is a good product. I was not so happy with the customer service. I called with a problem and received no help. I am hoping I do not have the same problem this winter or I will be very unhappy.
Love the product but so expensive.
Leafguard is a great product, but I should have held off because of how expensive it is.
The gutters not only look great but are working we), as I can hear the rain going into them instead of spilling out of them like my old ones, and my front porch is staying dry at my door.
LeafGuard was here on a bad weather day, and they were still able to complete the job in a professional and timely manner.
I am glad that I got it done. It made a big difference.
We have been letting everyone know about this wonderful product, and the wonderful company!!!
I have had the gutters less than 1 year and though some rain storms the gutters have worked well so far
The only thing is that they're very expensive.
It is a good product and the installers were good.
I live on the Greenbelt with lots of trees behind us, and the LeafGuard system has protected all of our gutters, so it has not allowed overflow into our basement. The leaves would fall down into the stairs, and now the LeafGuard system deters that.
The product does not meet the statement.
We were very pleased with our salesman, Ryan. He was very conscientious. He took his shoes off at the door. He really felt like a friend when he left. Ryan was very nice and personable. The guy who came out to do the molding was also very personable. We didn't even know he was here. The installers were also personable. They had forgotten one part for the installation, and they came out the very next day and installed it very quickly.
They are easy to work with and very polite.
LeafGuard was very professional and cleaned up well. The installation was beyond what I expected.
There were two people. They both came in and did a really good job. They cleaned up behind themselves. They were experienced and knew what they were doing.
Around 2001, I had LeafGuard installed. Since then, I have encountered issues with leaking, gutters that have only partially detached from the house, and water flow issues as a result of improper gutter installation. Water leaks through the gutters have been a recurring problem for me. The gutters must occasionally be cleaned because pine needles simply fall into them, contrary to what is advertised. Periodically, LeafGuard has been called out to clean the gutters. Gutter fronts change color to black.
I paid a lot of money for the gutters and I have had overflow and leaks for two years now with no resolution.
The LeafGuard system does not work as advertised. I still have to get up on a ladder to clean gutters.
I am still waiting for a callback to reschedule the remainder of the gutter cleaning that they could not get to.
It is great quality and a great look. It is worth the investment.
Living in the Pacific NW with lots of pine trees, it is wonderful to know the Gutter Guard has our backs. They guarantee to clean the gutters if the pine needles clod the drains. Had my gutters for 25 years.
I feel like they didn't finish the job.
LeafGuard did an excellent job.
I got these Leafguard gutters done again. I had them at my other house in Silverdale. I got it for this house. I wanted rain barrels. Leafguard made the drown spouts come to the top of the barrel, and the water just dumped out onto the barrel. It flooded my office space. It cost me $12,000 to get everything cleaned up and re-fixed. They came out and said, “Well, it is not our fault because we don't block up the barrels.” I'm pretty unhappy with the whole situation. I know they are not going to do anything. The woman they sent out here said, “Well, it is not our job.” Every other place that does barrels, the downspout goes right into the barrel. It doesn't dump on top of the barrel, so the wind can blow the water off into the walls and drain it down through the foundation. I wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy. I wouldn't recommend them for anything anymore. Not after the thing I got.
The cost is a bit prohibitive, but the product is well made and performed well.
Great service
The product filters water out along with other stuff.
LeafGuard of Seattle was fast and friendly. The customer service was great, and the crew was amazing and did a great job!
I have no worries now!
LeafGuard of Seattle had a good product and provided excellent service.
The gutters are too expensive.
The sales representative was good at his craft and informative in regard to the product and its application. Once the delay of installation issues were resolved and open communication occurred I could not ask for more.
Excellent installation, true and respectful professionals, but when tree falling took out corner of gutter and I contacted Leaf Guard, Kent, WA, I was contacted, sent photos within the hour, called twice to confirm (to the person himself) that he received the photos, but still have heard nothing. Sort of a pain having to wait for leaf Guard (to not respond), since I need an estimate for my house insurance since I was told not to remove anything until after receiving the estimate....and it is blocking walking passageway behind our home...
Everybody were friendly and informative.
It's a good product, it was a good installation, works well and the color match my house.
