Not only will I not recommend, but I will tell anyone I see with a yard sign to cancel. I will tell anyone I know with storm damage that might have them knock on their door to avoid them.
The actual work that was done was great, and I would recommend your actual work crew to people, however, I cannot recommend the company as a whole because it took 11 months for the work to be completed. And it was only completed in that time frame because I had to keep pushing and pushing for communication from the account/sales person I worked with. Granted there was a winter in between, but it was one of the mildest winters on record, and wouldn't have stopped anyone from working. It was a smaller problem that needed fixing (a detached garage versus a house), so it felt like my project was just pushed off further and further. Clearly it wasn't a priority for anyone at Legacy.
It was a really good presentation. I liked it.
We had six different salespeople that changed on our account that changed from the start to finish and there was a lot of turnovers.
Professional with communication and service.
They kept me up to date on with their dealing with my insurance company. Once they got approval, they repaired the roof in a timely manner. After the roof was done, they had good follow up with me to see if I had any complaints.
Legacy Restoration didn't have very good communication.
I was very impressed with the amount of quality of communication with Legacy Restoration with our project.
My experience was good, however, their communication with me could have been better.
I would absolutely recommend Legacy to friends & family.
I will not recommend based on the below feedback
I would recommend Legacy for several reasons, including great customer service, prompt responses to questions I had, Good quality, work, Great communication.
I had to pick up nails on the lawn after they left. I'm not satisfied with a spot where I have to use a bucket to catch the water when it rains.
They took care of us after a hailstorm. They did gutters and a roof. My favorite part was that they helped manage the insurance really well.
Good customer service and timing.
I was very happy when my roofing project started and the Legacy team members contacted me and got the job started. It al took a turn for the worse when the project manager wouldn't return my email or text communication. When I reached out to middle management to express my concern, my voice message was never returned and I had to reach out a second time. Even then I received a message their voice mail box was full so I then texted them. I was then assigned a new project manager whose communications skills were slightly better. His quote on a side job for materials turned out to be $100 higher when my final invoice arrived. My entire gutter portion of the job was forgotten about which I then decided to procure from another vendor.
I was very happy with the onsite management and the work of the roofing crews but the project managers themselves completely dropped the ball.
They are reliable and do quality work when needed for home or other property which experiences storm damage. I will call upon them again if need, with confidence.
I had to push a bit to get my roofing job scheduled because they were busy and the weather was not cooperating. They did complete the job in one day which was wonderful.
I was very troubled by the fact that several children were on the job site for almost the entire day, and were involved in picking up debris and the like. I spoke the the job site manager about this but did not actually see any action being taken, The presence of children on a job site such as this was, I'm sure, not in keeping with State Law or good and safe construction practices.
Our rep had poor communication, made several mistakes which delayed our build by many months, did a bad job preparing for and communicating with the crew, and was overall very frustrating. The workmanship is decent, though we had to badger them to follow up with a few issues.
Although I do not want my name printed, if someone asks me about Legacy Restoration, I would definitely recommend the company to them. Everyone was very professional and the project went very smoothly.
I have already recommended Legacy to several neighbors who retained Legacy to replace their roofs.
We had multiple staffing changes throughout our year and a half- got confusing with who
They were fantastic.
Terrible project management. Took forever to complete our project
Our service rep seemed to be oblivious of our claim status initially believing it was declined. Afterwards, he was supposed to follow up on damaged siding, but never did.
The work still has not been completed to standards. No-one at Legacy would take responsibility for sub par workmanship and horrible communication. What company gets into a shouting match with a client that is being charged 30,000.00 for sub par work. What company tells the client they are "not a premium job just an insurance job"
I did not have a great experience with Legacy and wish I had done more research prior to committing to a contractor. The signing of a contract seemed forced/rushed, only to find out that they didn't offer some of the services I was interested in (metal roof). The communication through the process was extremely disappointing as it would take weeks to get a reponse/update, and when I did, the information provided was not accurate.
work done quickly and cleanly.
Will do.
no way
Excellent sales and service
Steve Lipovetsky and John Spivey could not keep anything organized and incorrect details kept popping up in the job, wrong window dimensions and finishes, wrong elevation details, incorrect financial resolution details, incorrect final invoice. On a scale of 1-10, with 10 being exceptional service, the entire process was a 2. The job is complete. Glad it is over. I will never hire Legacy or a company like that to handle projects on my house again.
Very professional and friendly to work with start to finish.
Legacy Restoration provided poor quality salesmanship and did not understand their product or application to my situation. It took them 2 years to get my project completed, and I am still not happy.
My daughter noticed, after they left, that there was a dent on the fence located in the corner at the front of the house.
Excessive charges for upgrades to insurance repairs were disappointing
Legacy was professional, courteous, and great to work with.
Quality work and great people.
The work that was completed was done in a timely manner. However communication about scheduling and billing was not talked about unless specifically brought up by us.
Alex Honeyman was great. But the window wrap crew
The communication wasn't super great from the time I signed the paperwork to the time the job was scheduled.
They were really good. They were very thorough, clean, and quick.
Legacy Restoration did a great job! The crew arrived as the sun came up. Unpacked their truck, set up, and worked quietly. The site manager was great. They were done by 2:30.
On the high side of pricing and I’ve had a few pieces of siding fall of within the first few months
I would probably look for someone else in the future who does not just play the middle man. I will be looking for a contractor who is the entire POC for the whole project from adjuster to installer.
The sales part and coordination with insurance was good and the only part of the process that worked. Some work was done without our approval. Siding kept falling off after siders were done & someone had to keep coming out to “fix” it (at least 5 different times). Windows weren’t plumb. Finish work on windows was horrible (nails sticking out), gaps between window and trim, all of the windows were dirty with black smudges, sticker residue left on the glass. One window leaked water into our house and they had to come out 3 times to “fix” it. I had to have several conversations to get our final bill correct. Our grill was damaged by siding crew and took 9 months to get a solution—Rob never responded to my calls or texts. The quality of work done and supervision of the work/finished project was horrible.
From start to finish, this project was handled very professionally. I have no complaints at all.
At the beginning of the project, Legacy promised speed and quick completion without any hassles. That wasn't the case. Throughout the course of the project, I had three different account managers (unsure of the actual term they use). The project was completed, but I had to call them back out twice to clean up the large amount of nails left in my yard/around my garage (not ideal for puppy paws or tires) and the second due to my gutters leaking water profusely.
Poor quality of work, communication
The sales rep was very helpful and clear about the process.
