They have poor communication skills.
The experience that I had with Legacy during the process of getting the work done was too long. It took them from August to October to complete the work.
There is an issue with the billing that I'm working out with my insurance, but besides that, everything was fine.
I would certainly reach out to Legacy in the future. They did an amazing job and keeping us abreast every step of the way in where the project is and how long it would take until completed.
Just was not a smooth process.
There was a lot of confusion, miscommunication and the project took way to long to complete
The front end part of the business is broken, but the back end of installation was much better.
Legacy did a good job replacing our roof and skylight. The project manager for our roof was Erik and he did a great job from start to finish.
Too many contacts made communication difficult. Minor change requests resulted in outrageous change fees.
In spite of having three project managers, once Brandon took over I was kept well informed and all proceeded relatively smoothly.
Would loose a friend if I recommended LIEgacy!
Legacy Restoration started strong and ended strong. From our first contact where we received a full explanation of what our roof was looking like to being advocates for us and staying on top of our insurance, and being flexible with our schedule; this process was simple, painless and I will definitely recommend Legacy to anyone looking for a great contractor.
the prices were high didn't matter to them because our insurance was covering
The installation went well. Our sales guy was not forthcoming on how everything was going to work. We.did not know, until towards the end that you guys would not take care of our gutters, siding, or the damaged flu. The siding turned out to be a patch job. The gutters were not enough to deal with, and the you don't deal with flu's. I had to ask him what was happening with these and figure them out on my own. I still have to figure out my gutters. The roof part was a great experience and the rest needs work!
Efficient, knowledgeable staff.
I normally don’t talk to fellows that show up at the door, trying to sell me a home improvement or anything else. I am so glad that I made an exception for the Legacy representative. They really fulfilled their presentation offering.
I would try one of the many other local builders. Even if it’s more expensive.
Definitely would recommend
They completed the new roof fast and efficiently. Plus they made sure insurance would cover as much as possible.
The Legacy team was super easy to work with. Their communication was professional and consistent as updates came through. I couldn't be happier with the work they did on my house!
Our experience with Legacy was mixed. There were some really positive things, as well as frustrations. In the end, we were very happy with the quality of the work as well as the end price, but there were quite a few moments of frustration prior to that. We had a great initial first meeting with our Legacy consultant, and the communication after that was initially good. Something changed at a certain point though where it became extremely difficult to get ahold of our consultant and for a while we weren't sure what was happening. Apparently, there were issues with the phone number where our messages weren't going through, and, according to our consultant, he had been given massive amounts of projects and other tasks -- far more than a normal, manageable amount work. That being said, we did have a few months of feeling The process started out really well and ended well, but the middle part was marked by a major lack of communication and confusion or what was happening and when. The initial meeting was very encouraging and
The quality of work was great. Trying to get the project date set up was stressful and frustrating.
Legacy connected with us from the beginning with both phone calls and emails. They kept us up to date on what was happening and going to happen as well as solicited and answered all of our questions. Very easy to work with and reassuring. Jonah Miller was great to work with
The actual crew who did my roof was great, the lack of communication and overall project timeline was extremely disappointing.
Most likely.
Great work done in field and I really appreciate the way insurance was managed on my behalf. A little better/more regular/proactive communication on schedule and job status would be helpful.
Great team, from the initial roof inspection through the final completed work. The job was done perfectly and without any surprises or missteps. We aligned on a cost up front and the final job was exactly at that same price at the end. The price was exactly in line with the insurance adjustment. No surprises. Exactly how you want the job to be completed. I listen to 1130 AM radio every morning going to work. I hear the adds for some local companies to perform roofing work and to avoid the storm chasers. I have no idea how those companies would perform, but I expect they could be no better than I experienced from Legacy Restoration. I 100% recommend them.
the crew and team did a very efficient job
I have recommended them to a few family members, like my sister. They are really good, and everything went super smooth. Everyone on the team is professional. I don't have any complaints at all. I would highly recommend Legacy Restoration.
They communicated very well during the process and kept me apprised of any changes or needs.
The people were wonderful. The crews were amazing. They worked with me very well. I was happy with the entire experience and the team. I was pleased with the business and the supervisors of the team. I got a roof and siding done. I would like to shout out Oscar. Oscar came to my home with the crew to do my siding and he was great to work with.
It took longer than what it should have taken.
I would definitely recommend Legacy to friends and neighbors, and in fact I already have.
Our insurance agent suggested Legacy as a business they recommend. We contacted them and they handled everything for us. They were very professional in every regard. Great communications throughout the entire process. We couldn't be happier with the results. We would definitely recommend this company.
Once the weather started to cooperate the job was scheduled and completed in a timely manner. The mgmt staff was friendly and responsive to all of our questions and concerns. The cleanup also was done in good fashion. The new shingles and gutters look great and enhance the look of our house.
Very dissatisfied with the communication through out the process. We had 3 different project managers and we had to reach out multiple times for updates on the process. (Isak, Jade, and I don’t remember the first!) Had to escalate to the main office number and supervisors due to lack of response to email or voicemails left. The installation process and outside companies did a wonderful job.
I felt that I was in very fine hands. They did the work beautifully. Everything they said they were going to do happened and they have been great at communicating.
The process started out great, the sales person was personal and once we signed all the paperwork we were switched to a different sales person. The second was unresponsive and uninformed. I was told insurance would be covering everything and that there would be leftover money because there was other things that weren’t being completed. We received an additional bill after saying we owed X amount additional money and until I complained they went back to the insurance company for more money. In the meantime they hounded me that additional money before I got the additional money from the insurance company.
Once the roof was installed I had asked for an additional vent cut in. They did not do it at the time of the roof and had to call multiple times to have someone come back and cut it in. Then the vent was cut directly on the wall studs making hooking up the bathroom an absolute pain. They did the same with the 2 vents in the garage. It looks terrible from inside. I don’t want them to come fix it because I will get someone that will do it right. The gutter braces were either not connected, loose or barely screwed in. The first rain had water pouring over the top with the flexing of them. I fixed it all myself and corrected the missing braces. All in all I would not recommend.
From start to finish, they were amazing. They exceeded my expectations.
Long story short: Legacy does excellent work at a competitive price. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend their services. The whole process, from estimate to completion was about 1.5 months but since they handled most of the back-and-forth with the insurance company, it was a relative breeze. To be honest, there were times when the deal seemed too good to be true. I thought it could be a scam. Thankfully, Legacy is the opposite. It's a good company that does great work.
I assume the roof work was done well, but clean-up was very poor and communication from PM was lacking. Crews were pleasant and customer service was very helpful.
We have worked with Legacy for two years. Some project managers are really good, responsive, and responsible. The issue has been is there are a couple that have not been responsive. We have done a window installation, gutters, and roofing through them. It takes very long to get a production team arranged. It could be a back office issue, but there weren't many updates to the homeowner and the time was pretty long. We are still waiting on the window replacement project to finish. It took two and a half months to three months just to get the parts in with no updates. It is just a different experience than how we did it a few years ago with Legacy.
I'm not likely to recommend them. They have a horrible administration.
Quick to schedule, answered any questions or concerns, and were willing to correct any issues we had after the install. Would highly recommend to others.
I definitely liked the work done by the crew, but I wish I would have done a closer self inspection before they left so I could have had a couple pieces fixed on the spot. I do recommend Legacy Restoration though. Overall it was a great experience.
I was the one that had to continue to call about updates.
I was assigned to 10 different representatives through my year-long process. Ridiculous.
My salesmen was a very poor communicator, I know he was dealing with health issues but I would email him with questions and I got one or two word responses or answers that didn't make sense? I would need to do follow up with him frequently on these matters.
Not only will I not recommend, but I will tell anyone I see with a yard sign to cancel. I will tell anyone I know with storm damage that might have them knock on their door to avoid them.
The actual work that was done was great, and I would recommend your actual work crew to people, however, I cannot recommend the company as a whole because it took 11 months for the work to be completed. And it was only completed in that time frame because I had to keep pushing and pushing for communication from the account/sales person I worked with. Granted there was a winter in between, but it was one of the mildest winters on record, and wouldn't have stopped anyone from working. It was a smaller problem that needed fixing (a detached garage versus a house), so it felt like my project was just pushed off further and further. Clearly it wasn't a priority for anyone at Legacy.
