There were incompletions upon move-in. The completion process with Bella Vista Homes has been frustrating.
Horrible workmanship houses built too quickly! My house is just under 4 years old and we have mold due to poor attic ventilation, the walls aren't sealed properly, and the hvac system doesn't function properly. Legend is unwilling to help and has refused our request for help! A house less than 4 years old shouldn't have these issues Legend says its my fault but 20 out of 100 homes in my neighborhood have this mold issue! So you are telling me that's just a coincidence I think not!!!
We feel we made a mistake by choosing Bellavista and will not be referring to any friends or family. We were lied to several times throughout the process and still dealing with malfunctioning and damaged material from the poor quality build. Overall a very stressful, expensive experience while most of our friends chose different builders and received outstanding service and build quality.
I am very pleased with the outcome of purchasing my new home, and how Legend Homes follow up after closing to make sure that things are right, like replacing a hail damaged roof , that occurred before my purchase, Thankyou Jesus, and Thankyou Legend Homes.
I am likely to recommend Legend Homes due to the great construction, and the location of the house.
Terrible so far, I hope and pray someone contacts us soon with an update on the status of the home and when we might be closing. We are totally in the dark.
My experience so far is horrible. My homes completion date keeps getting pushed back. Very disappointment with this builder.
Yes best bang for your hard earned dollar!
So far everything has been on schedule and legend is great at communicating progress.
The whole process was pretty simple and there were people guiding us to the following steps. The process was awesome.
I saw the project only on the ;ast da
I was recommended by friends and am already recommending to other friends of mine.
Taking forever to build my house
The house was done quickly and finished at the last minute. The quality was not what we expected. Our builder Mark has been wonderful with his time while being on the property. He was wonderful in addressing our issues. I did refer them to a friend. The salesperson and realtor was great. My friend and I have both experienced the same issue with the loan processing and lack of communication. We were first time homebuyers. We were not told what to expect. We could've had a lower interest rate but we didn't.
I signed the contract 3 months back and I was told that if I use my lender, Legend will contribute $3500 to the closing cost. Now when it is near to the closing time and I have chosen my lender, legend is saying they will not contribute that $3500!!!! I have bought many houses but none of the builder changed the commitment after the contract. It is completely unacceptable .
This experience was very disappointing. The appraisal came back on the NEW home, almost $20,000 LESS than asking price and I couldn’t find that extra money to bring to the table. But on top of that, the builder, not the title company, held my earnest money for almost a month, preventing me from being able to proceed in looking/putting earnest money down on a different house. The sales associates were nice, however, the upper management advised we used HIS comps and send to my mortgage company of homes “in the area” as opposed to within the subdivision that the home was in. He wanted us to pay for another appraisal. You can’t give comps to appraisers to use. Not only is that against the law, it’s disturbing how consumed he was in the process than in the actual person purchasing the home. There was no discussion. First impressions are important, and in my opinion, PCH needs to reevaluate customer relationship skills of the management they choose. So no, I will not recommend Princeton Classic Homes to anyone.
Great overall
6 weeks later I'm still waiting on repairs to be corrected and dishwasher doesn't dry the dishes.
The staff is amazing to work with and have the best in mind for residents.
Sal is good at what he does. He job is very hard. He is really patient.
My response has nothing to do with Sal or the sale reps. More of my concern, is with the workers and certain situations, that we did not express to Sal because, he already have a lot on his plate.
Reason why I gave a 4 star:
1. We, signed my purchase agreement in March, it's crunch time now, and I have mix match appliances. We don't feel this is fair being that our order should have been put in back in March. I don't feel the excuse of a shortage should have effect James or I, in this matter. Regardless, if we needed to have our home finished in a sensitive time. And, I am not sure if this will be an issue, but we do not have ceiling fan in the living room or master bed room. But, honestly won't be surprised if the excuse of a shortage is use if we don't get that feature either. :(
2. James and I, went to take a look at the home and they still had some workers out there. We never told Sal, but we waited patiently for the workers to wrap up their work, because we did not want to be in their way. We didn't think anything of it until, one of the lady painter got in her car and started backing up almost hitting my car. At first I was like she not gone hit me because, she saw me sitting here, but she kept coming so, I blew my horn. The lady started using fowl language at us and drove off. It was pretty intense, and for what reason, we were unsure. So, we just avoided going around that time, which is crazy.
3. We witness a worker peeing on the wall of someone's soon to be inner garage. All I can say is WoW! There are several porter potty out there it makes no sense.
Other then that, I just hope we can enjoy our decision to make Legend apart of our future.
I would highly recommend Legend Homes. My good friend actually bought a house on my street, which is great. The people were knowledgeable, super friendly and took their time showing me around the community and housing choices. They asked questions about my lifestyle to make sure the house would be fitting for me and the area/direction would be everything I needed for outdoor stuff or gardening (which way the light shines in ). Overall, great service! Love this company. Highly recommend Creed Cultura, he was such a great guy. Very effective communication, answers questions, checks in on you during the entire process, etc... wonderful experience!!
My rating is based partly on the neighborhood and the builder.
We are pleased with our house for sure, but I do think as buyers, we are easier than many of others I know would be. There are certain aspects of the process and the company’s communication and organizational skills needs improvement before I would feel confident recommending Bella Vista to friends or family.
Legend Homes over promised and under delivered. The experience started off good and ended bad.
The service is pretty good.
James was really nice and did a really good job.
The quality feels builder grade. The layout leaves a lot to be desired.
They are excellent. In fact, I have already recommended Legend Homes to a close friend, and they are keeping them in their mind. The salesperson was great. He responded, was always on time, and answered all of my questions. He helped me get the best option, and the home that I wanted.
Although communication could have been better, in the end, we bought our home because of the location and felt the quality for the price is right. We also love the floor plan and finishes such as the floors and cabinets.
I love the way that Princeton builds their homes! The way the homes are laid out is great, very functional and classy.
I am disappointed in the knowledge and quality of workmanship
When I bought the house they didn't have a model house, so the house looked different than what I thought I purchased.
The home I purchased was an excellent build.
Already recommended. See #16
I was buying from out of town and the staff kept me updated and sent pictures on the progress. Sal Hashmi is great!
The people are nice
The builder was very clear and informative throughout the whole process. The deal that the builder had with the lender helped a lot with getting the house. So far the house is beautiful and I'm enjoying it and intend to be there for quite a long time.
They are friendly. They always listen and take extra steps to get problems solved.
They are professional.
The home is poorly built and the turn around time to repair is atrocious. I would not recommend.
Legend Homes was very punctual and very patient with this process.
The communication from the staff at Legend Homes, from the beginning throughout the whole process, so far has been great!
Ray Melima who helped us onsite was very polite and respectful. Ray made the process very enjoyable and kept the atmosphere very professional.
I have already recommended two friends to buy homes in the same community that Bella Vista Homes is at. The value is great.
I would most definitely recommend ur Homes to all my friends.
Bella Vista Homes has been helpful, attentive, and answered all of my questions. They have been on top of things and are awesome at responding to everything, so that was a plus for me.
Based on my experiences with Legend Homes, their personnel, and the product provided, I would feel very comfortable recommending a Legend Home to my friends.
Have not worked with Princeton Homes long enough to give a definitive comment!
I have been in construction myself since 1988 and the quality of the homes that Bella Vista Homes are building is great. The structure of the homes are made and designed really well.
I am in love with my new home, even though I haven't closed yet.
