I am currently in a dispute with my bank over payments of $25,000. I have statements that they are saying they didn't receive.

Long Construction NY LLC was upfront, honest and quick. They did what they said they would do.

It took us a while to find a company we felt comfortable with due to the nature of our project, from start to finish, they rep good products, followed up with all of our questions and took our concerns seriously.

I’m 50/50 with this. At the beginning of the process I felt very confident and comfortable having Long do the roof install. It wasn’t until the end of the process when I started to have doubts about my decision.

I would pick them 10 out of 10 times and will be recommending them to anyone looking for a new roof. Quote was honest and reasonable. They offered a great product. They were fast to start the work. Despite weather issues, they still completed the job within the 2 days promised. We had the hardest workers on the crew that did our roof. When a part of the job was accidentally overlooked, I contacted them and they were back within a day to remedy the issue. This is a company that stands by their product and their reputation and I’m glad I found them for the job!

Very happy with our new roof and the whole process of working with everyone at Long Construction. David was great and spent plenty of time with us answering all our questions and providing options during the initial quote process. Our project included a new roof, skylights, replacing all inadequate soffit vents and insulating the previously inaccessible vaulted ceiling attic space and some gutter upgrades.
The whole thing was completed in a single day, the crew was super hardworking and did a great job cleaning up.

I was very pleased with Long's responsiveness and how thorough they were with the advice they gave in guiding me through the insurance process. I was extraordinarily pleased with the work that was done. The workers went the extra mile in cleaning up the property after they finished. From beginning to end, from hiring them to inspecting the roof to guiding me through the insurance process, and completing the work, they were absolutely exceptional. I've owned four houses and had to do roof work on three of them and this was far and away the best roofer I've ever had.

I met with many roofing companies and I feel Long Construction gave me the most honest answers to what my roofing needs were.

I noticed a leak in my roof in mid November. I selected Long construction based mainly on their Google rating and the fact that it was done by hundreds of customers. I was also concerned about the price as I had not had a new roof for 17 years. After speaking with a representative I discovered that the cost was not so bad as I anticipated and he warned me that he could only give me an estimate since there was no way to determine the condition of the material under the roof. I was told it would probably be about 2 weeks before the work could be started and it would possibly last about a day and a half. So I left town to enjoy the Thanksgiving holiday with family. On the way back home while traveling on the thruway I received a call that they actually found an opening and could start the next day if I was ready. This turned out to be perfect timing as I would be home for the next couple days and then need to travel again. A pretty good size crew showed up the next morning at the break of dawn. It was 27 degrees and the wind was blowing about 20 mph. There would only be approximately 8 hours of daylight. They went immediately to work and started tearing off the old roof (2 layers). At that point it was dscovered that many of the sheets of plywood under the roofing were molded and rotting. I gave the go-ahead to replace them. The extra cost for replacing them seemed reasonable to me, but I was worried that the extra work would drag the project out. They were able to bring in a load of plywood while the old roofing was being removed, so there was minimal delay. Finally, just to make things more exciting it started snowing the last 2 hours of daylight. It turned out they finished the entire job on that day. Cleanup was a challenge because most of the old roof debris was buried under snow, but they went around the house/yard with a leaf blower to locate as much of it as they could. I'm couldn't tell if they missed any because of the snow and I had to leave the next day. However, my neighbors said they came back while I was away (after the snow melted) and did a second cleanup. I had a screen back door screen that was damaged by the wind blown roof debris and I reported it to the crew. They sent someone out to pick it up. The screen was repaired and returned to me as of this writing. Count me as a very satisfied customer.

There were a few hiccups along the way, but they took care of it all. The roof looks great!

They were great, from the salesman to the crew that did the work to the supervisor. They showed up at 6:45 a.m. in the morning, and when I came home at 12:30, they were done, cleaned up, and gone. They were very good, professional, and great all the way around.

They do good work. They represent the product better than the other companies that I got estimates from because they came with really well-organized books and materials, like the underlayment and the roofing materials. They had pieces that you could put in your hands and find out what it would feel like. I had this guy come in and throw this stuff on my dining room table. I was like, "Are you going to tell me what it is?" They represent Owens Corning well. It's a good company.

Everything was just as expected. It was very excellent in all aspects, the work, timeliness, quality, and everything. We were very happy with it.

Long Construction did a full tear off and replacement roof within one day. They used a large crew who worked hard throughout the day. My driveway is narrow so the dumpster blocked the driveway, and the crew had to deal with the extra hassle but did so professionally. They also assisted us with running a vent from our bathroom to the roof so that we could finally install a bathroom fan.

I highly recommend Long Construction NY LLC, who recently replaced my roof. The project consultant was extremely helpful, competent and knowledgeable, taking time to answer all of our questions and to explain the process of our roofing project. The office staff were friendly and competent. The crew did an outstanding job doing a full roof tear-off and replacing our roof. They worked efficiently and diligently, while taking care to protect our landscape, and did a thorough clean-up of the entire area when the job was finished. I couldn’t be happier with the workmanship and quality of the job they did. The project managers were often on site overseeing the project and always available to answer any questions. I am extremely happy with every aspect of our roofing project and would definitely use Long Construction NY LLC again.
