Overall I am happy with my bathroom remodeling. A plumber did have to come back and fix a leak under newly installed vanity and was unable to close the sink drain due to a hose in the way. One toilet tank moves, having informed them yet for that. Just found out.
The Long Home crew was very attentive and friendly throughout the process. I'm quite pleased with my newly installed shower and appreciate their efforts!
Team was professional, highly skilled. Team leader called to check in when decisions were needed
Outstanding, courteos service at reasonable cost.
Amanda and Dave.worked with us with dealing with a 100 year old home and the problems a home this age can have. They came up with solutions with the problems and worked with us to fulfill our needs at.this time and for in the future. Also the quality of the product gave us a shower the should be worry free for a very long time and you can't beet the limited lifetime warranty that can be transferred when and if the house is sold. Once again Thank you to Amanda and Dave for coming up with this beautiful and safe shower
Excellent experience!!! Thanks
The Long Home team demonstrated exceptional professionalism throughout the entire process. I had solar panels installed on my roof, and the removal process by my solar company was extremely slow. However, Long was incredibly patient and accommodating during this time.
I don't see how any job deserves more than a 4.9 but looking at the big picture I'll go the 5.0
Friendly
I don’t like the sale representative’s way of consultation and contract signing
They are a great company and have good people. They take the time to listen and do a great job.
Awesome work.
Excellent work!!
Some things were done really well, and we were really pleased with them. Some things we found out afterwards. We cannot get anyone out, and it took three weeks to get someone out to adjust the door. The guy who came out saw the seam was not sealed properly and the drywall was not done properly. No one has gotten back to me on that, and one of the spigots is loose. Once the work was done, getting someone out here or just getting someone from Long Home to give me a call has been frustrating.
They were extremely professional and knew exactly what they were doing. The two of them worked as a team. They were polite and protected my flooring. They did a great job.
They cut all the product out in the driveway and left shavings and small pieces of metal. I had to clean it all up from the driveway.
They were great to work with. They answered all of my questions, were on time, very thorough, and if any issues popped up, they were quick with a solution. My home is an old home, so I appreciate their professionalism and quality of work.
Professional, quick and quality work.
From start to finish everything ran smoothly.
And the Project manager Daryl Lugo came by the job To make
Sure Everything was going the way it should have and Dale The person who did my job was very pleasant and worked consistently throughout the day. And cleaned up after the job very nicely.
The base of shower was installed backward. They had to remove it. One extra day of demolition and inconvenience. They installed one shower door backwards and one grab bar in different finish from rest. They were unaware of my contract for glass doors and had to return another day to install.
I have spoken with the supervisor, Glenn Saylor; he told me he would contact me the day after completion. I had to call him four days later to get in contact with him. I told him my issue and problem: the installers damaged a wall, and I have yet to hear anything back. It is approximately two weeks since completion.
I'm having a lot of difficulty with communication with the company, and I am very disappointed with the outcome of my project. I went with Long Home because I liked the idea that they were going to give me a custom bathtub, and it was important for me because the space I have in my bathroom for a bathtub and shower is a small space. I have an old clawfoot tub and it is smaller than a standard sized tub, so I liked the fact that I was going to get a custom tub. What I was hoping is that they would do everything that they could to maximize the space, it's already a small space. Or at least give me a bathtub about the same size as what I had. What I ended up with is a bathtub where the interior area is probably at least 4 inches to 6 inches smaller than what I had so they actually minimized my space. She had to build out the walls to meet the small bathtub that they put in my bathroom. I reported this to them before all of the worker finished it and said I had an issue. I'm just having issues with communication at this point. I've talked to a regional director, I talked to the local projection manager etc., a few times. This last time I called, I talked to Anthony Jones, a production manager in the area and they said, give him another call. I never heard anything back from him. Its a problem. I wanted to bring up the value of the home and what they ended up doing is bringing down the value because the tub is so small. You would have to be a child to stretch your legs out in this tub. What I'm asking is at least give me a tub with the interior of the one you took out and that just hasn't happened, its frustrating. I had a lot of big renovation projects going on in the last few months, and this is one of them, and I'm just going to have to keep at it and try to manage my communication took them. I'm going to start writing some letters because nobody is getting back to me. So no, I would not recommend them. They're not responsive. The state they left my bathroom in, number one the tub is too small and number two they had to tear up the floor which I paid an extra 1500 dollars for. The people who putback the floor only put a piece of aluminum over the floor that they took out. The floor does not even meet the wall. The floor wasn't even livable when they finished, which I also told them about. None of these issues have been addressed. The wall that they put in around the shower is about an inch above where the bottom of the tub is. So, even if I put leveling in, the wall that they put in will still be an inch higher. They are not responding. I took and sent them pictures, and nobody is getting back to me about anything.
I have a beautiful shower thanks to them.
In close to 45 years of dealing with contractors. I have never dealt with a more inept group of individuals claiming to be "professional". From start to finish our bath remodel has been close to a complete ordeal. Lack of communication and coordination between the sale, installation and customer service I would consider an utter disgrace if I had my name associated with Long roofing. If it were not for my wife's constant barrage of phone calls, texts and emails we most assuredly still be waiting for the jobs completion. The name of this company should be officially changed from Long Roof to a more appropriate Wrong Roof. If you would like a complete detail of our experience. Please feel free to contact us. We will be more than willing to explain fully our abhorrence of Long Roof.
