Once the order was placed, I found it difficult to get a response from the person I needed to communicate with about installation. Did not respond to texts or messages.

It was fine. He forgot to order 2 windows. When they came, we had to wait a few weeks to get the missing one, but it was fine.

Unfortunately, when the products first arrived ready to install, Paul the installernoticed that we had received a door that opened the wrong way. It was returned. When the new door arrived the handles were in the wrong colour.On the third attempt everything worked out. - The whole process was a little disappointing.

Installer Paul Offredi provided excellent service and workmanship, especially on the extra work involved with the custom work to accomodate the existing interior framing and exterior threshold. He was very considerate and clean. As one door screen was mistakenly not delivered by Marvin, Paul picked up the screen at the Marvin warehouse and delivered it directly in order to avoid any delay. He was also very helpful in dealing with the painter after installation. I would highly recommend him.

We are desappointed with the windows overall performance and they made our windows too small.

They did a really professional job in a really timely matter. It was beyond what I expected for the product in the end. I was very happy and I would highly recommend them.

Generally a good quality product. One window arrived with a small crack in the frame. Marvin replaced the frame without question but it took over 5 weeks to get it. Our builder was delayed and had to leave the site and return later. There are small gaps at the top in the seals on all 4 sliders that Marvin is yet to inspect but I remain hopeful that will be addressed. This is the third time we have windows from Marvin. The two previous times it was perfect. A bit disappointed this time.

Replacing old windows with triple glazed glass to keep out noise and keep in heat.

Installed LaFlamme windows from Home Hardware and had to have them all removed as the windows leaked water due to the sash seal being felt only. Replaced with Marvin and no comparison, their construction is so superior. You get what you pay for. Elliot Barton on sales is great and upon visit, his attention to detail is obvious. On the service side (change item), Jay Bhansingh is not the quickest to get back to you, you need to email him or call him several times to eventually speak with him and if he is tasked with a follow-up action item, you will need to take it upon yourself to email/call him several times to get your answer. Other than service, Marvin product is second to none in my opinion. Sales is great and Mary is a great backstop at head office in Toronto if you need help. M.

Although the Marvin product itself is a great product the process from ordering to delivery was totally unacceptable. The wrong windows were ordered not just once, but twice. When the correct windows were finally delivered, the brand new window frames were scratched, chipped and no one took responsibility. Extremely disappointing. Next reno we will use another company.

I think the window is fine but the finishing does not meet my standard of a premium window.

Windows but not installers

Our Windows are beautiful. Just need to see them cleaned before we move in. Pretty sure they will sparkle. I love how they sound when I open and close the doors and the sliding doors.

My husband and I are building a new home in Niagara and after much careful thought and speaking with other companies, we went with Marvin. Our sales rep from the start was so had no knowledge or insight into Marvin products that they always had to pair him with an associate every time we met. He was also so unprofessional. A couple of times, he sent my husband very odd texts poking fun at Marvin clients, using bad language. When asked to clarify he told us his phone was hacked. We should have taken that as a sign, but we went ahead with a large order, spending $90,000 on windows and French doors. The windows are beautiful but the French doors were absolutely not up to the standard we were promised. They arrived later than promised in the invoice which caused construction delays, but worse is the quality. It looked unfinished. There were very obvious seams all along every piece of trim. I was so so disappointed. For $8,000 doors I would have expected so much more. Funnily enough, 2 weeks before delivery, we were unceremoniously informed that our rep was no longer with the company. When we followed up about our order, we were put into contact with a very rude lady from the Mississauga office. All in all, this was a negative experience. I believe that Marvin has some excellent product lines but Marvin Canada has abhorrent customer service and were I to choose again, I would take a much closer look at Andersen.

Colin was exceptionally helpful throughout the whole process, meeting us, making recommendations, and ensuring that we got what we were looking for.

I had a really positive experience with Marvin Windows and would recommend them to others.

With the issues we faced on this small order, which was a test for a much larger order. I cannot recommend marvin.

Windows are not energy star certified, so condensation is showing up a few weeks after being installed, they were not measured correctly, so required additional installation costs. (we are now removing all of their windows and double door) and replacing them.

We started our five windows in October 2018, they still aren’t completed in March 2019. Our advisor Cliff ordered the wrong windows, which were installed and now need to be replaced. Also what should have been simple solutions have turned into month long problems. Our windows still sit incomplete. We don’t hear from Cliff with a timeline ever unless we initiate the conversation, and to this day we still dont know when Cliff and Marvin windows areComing back to finish the existing windows and replace the two wrong windows.

It took four months to order the doors. He kept giving us the wrong quotes with the wrong door. He also gave us incomplete quotes. During the four months, he led us to believe that he could get us a front door through TrueStyle, however, at the end of the four months he told us that TrueStyle does not offer a warranty in Canada and therefore he could not get the front door for us. I ended up getting the front door through another company, it only took 2 days to finalize the process with the other company. Marvin does make a good product, however it takes way too long to finalize the process and install the product.

Excellent help organizing and sizing the windows. Could use more help with the after installation process.

Worst company we have ever dealt with. Still need one more window to be installed but as usual know one will return phone calls or texts to let us know what's going on. Very very frustrating, in fact this company has brought me to tears.

Marvin makes a nice product. However, I have never had a good experience working with the company. They have a very high turn over rate of sales reps. You have to call repeatedly and resend information over and over, and still wait and wait for satisfaction. Customer service does not match the price of the product. You have to really want a Marvin product to go through the ridiculous hassle of working with the company. It has been this way for over 20 years. So, I don't expect anything to change.

They did a great job and I am very happy with my results! I would most definitely recommend this company

Quality of the product is good, however, the support and service associated with installation are highly inadequate.

I have referred multiple friends already, and they are received lots of business from that.

Nice door, but the intallation was poorly implemented. This is the second issue we have had with a Marvin install. Given the premium you pay for this I am frankly surprised; and disappointed. Marvin has been slow in their response to our concerns. As of this point in time (one month after the installation) we are still awaiting for the issue to be resolved.

I would never use this product again. We would never recommend them to anyone.
