I was pleasantly surprised with Massengill's constant attention to detail. They just do the job correctly.

Everyone we interacted with at Massengill Design Build throughout the process has been very professional and helpful. The quality of the construction appears to be very high quality. We have lived in our new home for over a year now and are very happy to be here. At the time of the one-year warranty follow up there were very few issues to deal with; mostly light cosmetic issues like nail pops. Practically a non-event. Ricky, the Warranty Manager and John, the Project Manager are Rock Stars! The two by six construction allows for more insulation which in turn makes for a very quiet house. During the height of construction in the nearby area, we couldn't hear construction noise until we opened our front or back door. Also, after one year, our heating and cooling costs have been much more reasonable than we expected. We've made many new friends since we've been in the neighborhood and many of them are very happy to be here too.

Great group of people to work with, we are very happy with the fit and Finnish. Great value for the cost.

Building with Massengill was a truly refreshing experience. In a time where many are trying to reduce cost at the same of customer service Massengill proved to be the exception to this mentality. Mike and Junior showed professionalism not common when having to tackle unique requests from us (buyers) even if it was challenging request.

Massengill Design Build has been great to work with - from the purchase through warranty. They offer far more floor plan options than most builders, allow significant customization within lot size and dimension limits, and stand behind the work. Simply the best homebuying experience we've had to date.

We had a great experience with MASSENGILL. We were kept up to date with the project the entire way. The change order process was streamlined and easy, leaving no surprise costs at the end of the build. The home was completed on time and we are extremely happy with result.

We had a great experience with Massengill and love our new home. As with any new build there were bumps along the way, but they took care of everything and stayed in communication through it all and answered all our questions.

The quality of the construction is excellent. Unfortunately, the opportunities to meet with the vendors for lighting, tile, countertops, and floors in addition to the construction walk throughs were less than accommodating for the working individual. I was unable to attend most of the appointments which was extremely disappointing. In addition, the representatives at the various sites (except for Terry's Floor fashion) were not very professional. I think Sara could have been more professional in her communications with us and I question her credentials as there seemed to be design decisions regarding colors and combinations (items that we did not have a decision in) did not flow. William and Junior were very easy to work with, very professional and friendly.

I write this as a second review just in advance of the 2023 Parade of Homes event for it was in September of 2020 that we met Massengill Design Build during the Parade of Homes weekend...thank you Nikki ! In October of 2020 we signed our contract and we watched out home grow from an uncleared lot to a finished home. My wife and I felt confidence and comfort every step of the way from every person we encountered...a special thank you Mike ! We are so pleased with our home, the quality, the attention to detail and the value we believe we received far outshone every other builder or neighborhood we visited. Our journey to Massengill Design Build was over a year as we looked at almost very builder and every neighborhood in Cary, Apex, Holly Springs, Angier, and Fuquay-Varina,. I have lived in Cary for the past 5 years. I have wanted to move here and own a Massengill home. When this opportunity came about to have a new home built I felt like a kid at Christmas. I am a 71 year old retired US Army Officer and this is my first new home from the ground up. We love the layout and attention to detail but we like most was detail with the staff especially John Spencer and Jose Hernandez. Both always there always smiling and for sure always helpful. We have only been here about 2 weeks but it feels like home. Not a new house but a new home and so relaxing for sure.

Where to begin.....well we began our journey in the summer of 2020 having moved to NC from NH. My better half and I visited every neighborhood and every Parade of Homes site on every weekend for almost six months and in the end we chose Massengill Design Build in the neighborhood of Meadow Bluffs in Fuquay-Varina, NC. I could go on and on and on with 2X6 stick build construction, high quality standard amenities, great fit and finish work but in the end it was the Massengill Design Build people led my Mike Riddick who delivered on our hopes and dreams. We spoke with no less than 50 Massengill homeowners and never once did we hear a major complaint...I will tell anyone, anywhere at any time that choosing Massengill Design Build will be a great choice.

Quality Of Workmanship

Quality Of Workmanship - We just finished our one year warranty review and we had less than six (6) nail pops and probably less than 10 feet of trim work that needed caulk touch-up...for a new home that is unheard of ! Zero major issues and every minor issue was addressed without a question.

Value - This one is huge for me....I can't put it into words but the home just "feels" like a great value....solid construction, timeless design, great fit and finish...we got the maximum value for our dollars spent...some other homes and builders just felt over-priced and not a fair value....hard to explain but if you buy one you will understand.
