Their rough estimate for the timeline for the project was very accurate (and actually slightly ahead of schedule due to some milder than expected weather). Additional damage issues not covered by the initial estimate (and given the age of the home, these were not unexpected by either me or the work crew) were photographically documented and provided in a separate estimate. And above all, the new roof looks great.

Our historic home had an very, very complicated roofing system, with awkward peaks and valleys, additions, crickets, bay windows, et cetera. For 18 years we fought constant leaks in one portion of the home. We probably had ten roofers come out at various times to work on it, and portions were replaced, to no good effect. It kept leaking. I feel confident these problems are now behind us, and I appreciate the hard work these professionals did on my house. I had some new gutters installed recently by a small local roofing company. They remarked on the exceptional craftsmanship shown in the new roof installation.

Final Walkthrough - The finished job was on the roof! I could not exactly walk through it wthout climbing up there on an injured knee. From below it looks fantastic, and David actually went through some photographs of flashing near the fireplace and at a tricky corner with great detail. That was probably more useful than a walk through.

I initally contacted them to replace my existing roof, however during the project they found extensive damage that also needed repair. I was given pictures of the damage so I could understand the work that was needed to be done . They were punctual, clean workers and dependable. I find it hard to find honest companies today that have a great work ethic and feel fortunate McCarthy were both of these. As a homeowner, I feel at a disadvantage not being able to go up on the roof to see the damage myself. The pictures and communication with David kept me informed of the project.
