We were told that we could choose anyone to complete the restoration after the mitigation was complete. We had extensive damage to our walls, ceiling and flooring. With the help of our insurance company we went with a different flooring contractor. Matt and Steve with Mellon then refused to do the work. During the period we worked with Mellon, Steve would never return our calls, but he was able to call us and yell that they could not make any money off our work without doing the flooring also. It is an understatement to say that Mellon was very difficult to work with and do not seem to believe that returning customers phone calls is important.

During the course of our displacement, our 16-year-old was diagnosed with a rare illness and I'll be honest with you, Mellon really stepped up. I just can't speak good enough about them. Trying to get back in the house before vascular surgery and everything, like I said, I just can't say enough about the individuals and Steve, the district manager, and Brian, the project manager, and every individual that came to the house. They're just great people.
