End product will be great. Process was lacking and need a different PM to manage the project to fully recommend.

Jeff Metke and the team are all great and easy to work with. The email system they use to communicate with owners and management felt like everyone was on the same page in terms of work progress. My only suggestion would be that there be more communication prior to construction about the details of the final product. There were a couple of the things that I wish I had a seen a drawing or even a sketch before construction/installation so then they didn't have to be redone.

Having undertaken several major new build/remodeling projects over the past 30 years, we've seen what good, and not-so-good can look like. Without question, working with Metke on this project was in a different universe. Planning, listening, execution, communication, followup and level of engagement were all top of class. If someone was to ask us what we would tell them about taking on a project with Metke, all we'd say is "....quit looking and get to work.."

Types of work - Our project was a major remodel on a house originally built in 1925. And with a house of that age, there are going to be surprises. Metke did a good job of anticipating many in advance, and was resourceful in addressing others as they were identified in a cost-effective and sound manner.

Areas Of Satisfaction - The work was kept right on budget which was a happy surprise. The design process was enjoyable and easy and we felt extremely supported by staff. We felt our project was important to Metke and our questions were always answered quickly yet thoroughly. Most of the contractors were professional and the work was exceptional, particularly plumbing and electrical. Only one (the tile contractor) seemed to be the source of any delays or communication issues. While it's difficult to have a part of your home under construction, this seemed like the least painful experience we could've asked for.
