They gave us a bid that let us decide, based on price, what options we would get, i.e., deciding if we wanted shakes under the windows, or not, pricing the job with the siding factory painted or having a painter apply. They even let us see how the house would look, with siding and trim installed, and then ordered the shakes we wanted and the color. Giving us lots of options we could choose from without having to do a new bid each time. Maximum coordination from Midwest !

Midwest Siding's crew was superbly conscientious, communicative, and responsive before, during, and after the siding installation. We knew what we were going to get; the crew made tweaks during installation to ensure our vision was achieved; we received exactly what we wanted and more than we expected. This project was a wonderfully smooth experience (unlike many construction projects). We love our new siding.

I thought the crew, especially Frankie was awesome. They handled everything professionally and they did a wonderful job cleaning up every night when they were finished working.

Workmanship was seriously lacking. Having to go over the same issues multiple times and still not having it finished correctly or even overlooked again. Obvious missed caulking, paint so light in areas you could see through it (and they packed up and left like it was good enough). Pounded over nails and nails pounded through the siding. Broken siding and fascia. Broken out brick and just wedge it back in there a little with it not even lined up correctly with a little construction adhesive and tell me that's the best you can do because you can't find the mortar to match. Sounds like code for I jacked it up and am putting very little effort into fixing it the right way. Any masonry supplier in town would help match mortar its been done before. Take 3/4 of the nails out of the chimney cap and leave for the weekend so the wind bangs it all day and night and rain pours down the chimney. For the money and Midwest being the professionals they should have been the ones picking up on the details not me.

Not only did they do a great job, they were respectful of our neighbors by cleaning the site each day. Pulling down tape even it it went back up the next day, not painting when it was windy and making sure cars were clear so no paint got on them either. They take pride in their work and seemed as excited about the new siding and paint scheme as we were.
