On April 20, 2020 when we made our down-payment for a new deck, replacing our old deck, we were told that the work should begin in 2 weeks. After a few phone calls the work began in 7 weeks. There is a hole in our new deck that was not in the original deck. One of the boards on the deck in front of the front door does not line up with the other boards. The building inspector required at least 2 changes in work already completed, You replaced/installed a new storm door that is not flush with the door casing.

Other than the above flaws in workmanship, we like the deck, and we found the builders to be very friendly and approachable, as was Steve the man that gave us the bid. The flaws are what caused the below average rating.

Salesman was at first good at return phone calls but later in the project didn't return phone calls at all also they had a dumpster placed in the driveway blocking on off the garage doors which was in the way for 9 days beforeit was finally remove, and in the mean time it became a public dump site . Old TV's where placed in the dumpster and MN Home Improvement refused to do any thing the situation, which cost us $60.00 todispose of. The dumpster should have been removed 5 days earlier.
