The clean up could have been better. There were a lot of nails that I had to pick up.
Find another company for any remediation. My "project manager" was terrible with communicating any scheduling, any updates and I had to watch what he was doing to ensure proper remediation was done with mold, moisture and asbestos remediation.
Recommended by Allstate homeowners insurance.
Alecia was fabulous to work with and made the process really easy for me.
I really appreciate everything that Modernistic Lansing did for us.
They did a fantastic job and the response time was perfect.
Modernistic was hired by my homeowner's insurance to clean up major water damage which impacted 3 floors of my home. They caused extra damage to my home during their water mitigation including carpet damage, wall and baseboard damage, and damage to my bathroom vanity. They denied creating this damage while also stating that they made many mistakes during their work at my home. In addition, they did not want to pay for their damage and encouraged my insurance provider not to pay for the damage as well. Their management was rude and condescending during a difficult experience for me. They continually contradicted contractors that came into my home regarding the damage. Avoid using Modernistic.
They were outstanding! The response time and communication were unprecedented. The clean up process outstanding. Would highly recommend.
I was very happy with the employees that came to our house. They were respectful, courteous and professional. I was frustrated because I asked them (several times) when they'd be returning and they said they weren't sure, it was up to the main office. Leaving customers in limbo is not a good business practice. I also asked them if they could clean our carpets upstairs, not just attend to our basement that was flooded. They told me "sure," but never followed up with me or cleaned the carpet upstairs. If you have people in your home working on your basement, it doesn't seem like it should be a such a challenge to expand that job. It's clear there is a disconnect between the main office and the guys doing the heavy lifting at a job site.
