I would recommend them.
They did high quality, work.
The supervisor does not accept your wishes to clean after the job. There was roof material all over my yard and paint drips all over the home. When they painted the exterior, there was overspray on two of my security cameras. When I mentioned it, I was told I was being rude. They pressure you to make paint color selections, faster than you need to make a proper selection so that they can get paid. They lied, saying the insurance company was pressuring them because they wanted to get paid.
They followed through on everything. Everything came out good. We're very happy with them.
I believe Paul Davis Restoration did a wonderful job. They answered all of our questions and all of our needs. We couldn't be happier. We would use them again if necessary. I would recommend them to friends in the future.
The rating is not for the quality of their work, as they did little (I wound up finding the roofer that actually did the project, and connected them to PDR so that PDR could remain the GC). Instead, the rating is directly related to the manner in which the owner of the local franchise dealt with me, both via email and over the phone. His customer service skills are sorely lacking, especially considering that he was speaking about -- and to -- a client who brought him a job that netted him a significant amount of money. Thanks to him, and him alone, I will never hire any Paul Davis Restoration franchises in the future.
Excellent responsive to concerns and handled all concerns.
Jose Ortiz was the first person I met when he did the inspection of the damage to my home. Jose organized and coordinated the materials, personnel and our schedule to be sure the job was done efficiently. Jose was always very responsive to my texts and phone calls. They did excellent work and were professional.
They were there when I needed them, came quickly, and did what they were supposed to do. I would recommend them to my friends and neighbors.
Get other quotes besides them. The only reason I didn't get other quotes is that they were a preferred vendor with my insurance company.
They did a wonderful job. The young man we worked with was wonderful and very helpful.
The process was long and arduous due to sub-par work and the difficulty in getting things corrected; we finally accepted the fact that they were incapable of doing some of the ceiling areas professionally. The workers were often late to arrive and coordinating the work process was problematic. However, the people were congenial and friendly and worked with diligence once they arrived.
They do not follow up or do what they say they will do. I am not satisfied with what was done. They damaged items in my home and caused an additional leak upstairs.
We had a problem getting the tarp on the roof and a little water damage, but it seems to be fixed.
When Paul Davis Restoration of Lee and Collier Counties first came to me, I had no problem with Paul Davis. When the work proceeded and my house was left opened after that, the owner and I got in a big argument and fight. There is no more violation in a homeowner's life than when their front door is wide open and the locked gate that is supposed to be locked is not. With the irresponsibility of a contractor's crew, and there is no apology or no phone call, it's done. Second of all, anybody who walks off the job and doesn't tell the homeowner they are walking off the job after everything is done and are waiting on a crew for two weeks to get the rest of the house done, that is a big zero in my book. They broke my fans pulling the insulation down out of the ceiling instead of taking the fans off the wall, and they never said anything until I found it. That is a big zero.
I didn't think they were professional at all, and I would not recommend them.
The job to restore my kitchen took 9 months. I understand it takes time to order the cabinets but that wasn't the problem. They would set a day and time to be here then not show up or even call to say they weren't coming. This happened all the time. Then when they did show up they did terrible work. The cabinet installer cut off all of my plumbing flush with the wall! So then they had to schedule a plumber to fix it. The cabinets were not the same size as the ones they took out. The paint wasn't the right color..... the list goes on!
Paul Davis Restoration did what they said they were going to do. They were on time, courteous and had very qualified people that worked for them and provided great customer service. I was happy to work with them during a stressful time.
They were professional and did a good job.
They did a great job on a difficult restoration project.
I was really satisfied with Carlos Sanchez. He was very nice, professional, and knew what he was doing. He was courteous, and helpful in every way. I really recommend him. From the start of our project to the end he was very helpful. He would always notify me ahead of time on the schedule of the contractors. He would text me or call me, and I really appreciated that. I like the way they worked with us. Very professional, helpful, and knowledgeable.
We were not aware of Paul Davis until referred to them by AAA insurance. We used them for repairing a leak-damaged wall and subsequent painting. We even added an additional wall to the job as we felt we were receiving quality service. They worked closely with us and explained every decision and recommendation. You will be pleased with the results.
Horrible and stressful experience..as the homeowner I had to oversee most of the project to keep it running smoothly. Months and months of delays and incapable workmanship- total roof replacement and some windows. After project was finally completed, we ended up with a roof leak with the NEW roof...this leak was in a new location from original leaks. We were so ready for them to finish and leave our property.
They were very professional. The workmanship was great. I am very satisfied.
They were very professional and did the work that they committed to. We were very pleased with the whole experience.
