The sales and design process are great but the actual delivery needs some improvement. The communication was non-existent with the onsite crew and the communication with the management team only happened if we inquired.

The deck looks amazing. Both in design and materials (azek). They were able to accomodiate the short stairs and work around existing sunporch, better footings, solved issues from previous deck. Worked with me the whole process to make sure all the details of the design met my vision.

We’ve used many contractors over the years at our home and rental properties and PHI Decks performed at the highest level. It’s so rare these days to have your expectations exceeded! They were on time to the day and hour! We wish they could do more projects for us!

Phi Decks carpenters did a great job on building my deck and porch. The quality of their craftsmanship is excellent. They communicated well before and during construction although I recommend taking notes of any in-person or phone conversations and following it up with an email to keep records of the discussion. Their painting subcontractor they hired to paint trim wasn't great and didn't include filling nail holes as a part of their scope but the painters did come back out to fix some of the issues. Overall I would give PHI 4.5 stars based on my project experience.

We couldn't be happier with the porch and deck! The project turned out beautifully, and was a good value. PHI listened to what we wanted and stuck to the budget. From the very beginning we worked with one of the owners who also was on site working quite often. We liked the fact they didn't send out a sales guy and then turn it over to a crew. We showed PHI an inspiration picture to work with and they nailed it! The crew building our screened in porch and deck were amazing.
