I've been going through a lot with this and they were there to help council me through the process and they've been working to my satisfaction. Everything I've asked for, they've done. Everything I've needed, they've been there for. They made the process really smooth for me, and I really appreciate them for that.
I would have given them all 4 but after they cleaned out my basement, some of the items were not fixed.
They were extremely helpful and courteous.
did a great job
I would recommend them.
They were asked to come back and cover the opening in the ceiling before repairs were done and they immediately did
Came within hours after being contacted by our insurance company. Started right away on the restoration and came by every day to check on the progress until the job was complete.
The customers are usually at their worst when your people come - they went out of their way to be helpful and understanding. As they followed the moisture they explained what they were looking for and why they had to remove parts of walls. Their work helped us to better understand the extent of the water damage and whether it was a simple or complex repair. They also maintained a sense of humor throughout the process. This was greatly appreciated because it was a stressful experience and their cheerfulness was infectious.
Area Of Satisfaction - Their thoroughness, willingness to explain what they were looking for and why they took certain actions and their welcomed sense of humor during a stressful time for us.
Additional Comments - I had grossly underestimated the water damage. Both Poole's and my insurance company helped me better understand the extent of the damage and the work needed for estimation. Thanks to Poole's, my house was dry and the damage fully assessed so I'd was ready for the next step of recovery and restoration. Their knowledge of how to assess water damage and their welcomed sense of humor helped me.
The work was not acceptable because my A/C unit outside was stolen because it should have been boxed in with plywood. Also the front bedroom window was "not" secured; thieves broke the window and stole hundreds of dollars in electronics. The crawl space door on the back was not sealed; thieves took all the copper pipes in the basement. I'll never understand why you folk "didn't" pump the water from the basement however I understand that Allstate (Katerine) instructed you not too. This was a terrible decision. By the time I had the water excavated, it had rusted and ruined both the hot water heater and the furnace. So there were many mistakes made by Poole and Allstate and it looks like I'll have to pay for them because Allstate has "not" made allotments for them. I should not have to pay for Poole's mistakes.
Area Of Satisfaction - Your employees were courteous and kind
