I expected the sink edges not to be exposed and talked to the measurements guy specifically about that but after it was installed, 3 of the 4 sides are clearly exposed showing the caulk which I hope stays clear and doesn't discolor.
Very communicative, quick, and professional. No complaints at all!
good job done by all
Showed up on time. Knowledgeable friendly installer. Work done in a professional manner.
I don't recomment
Very efficient. Kept us updated on arrival for both the measure and install. Pleasent and knowledgeable.
The lead worker was rude, there is a gap in my counter top, never measured before laying the counter top to make sure it was even, and stated that we were stuck with it. The attitude was not our problem. In any of the instructions did it say to remeasure when old counter tops were removed to make sure everything was even. Now we are stuck trying to make it look correct.
Great experience both times we have done business with Precision Countertops.
From start to finish great comunication with office and field.
I would definitely recommend Precision Countertops to anyone.
They did an awesome job from start to finish. Great communication and everyone that came to the house or chatted on the phone were friendly, helpful and professional. I would use them again when and if we have another project.
Both measurement and installation associates were courteous and efficient and great communicators.
The bathrooms and kitchen are stunning now. The improvement in appearance is dramatic.
The large island dimensions increased the cost of this countertop. It definitely was a splurge. Because of its price i would be selective about who I would recommend this product to.
In retrospect. I would have done more comparison shopping for providers and types of materials.
Our Home Depot uses this company to fulfill a custom Laminate Island countertop. This is a replacement that was done through Home Depot 6 years previously. Ordered the exact same one. Ogee edging. 36" x 82".
I could NOT get them to understand I needed a build up under it for the cabinets. They thought I meant metal support (This was according to Home Depot, who they called with the concern, not me.)
Then they informed Home Depot that they can't do an Ogee edging on a custom size like this...I'm staring at the fact it CAN be done, it is installed on my island at the time of the order. But ok, they can do a bullnose. Fine, do a bullnose.
I received the countertop with a bullnose in a different finish (matt vs textured) the top is in what the Laminate company calls HD (or textured). So now I have different coloring from the top to the edge and different texture. By the way they charged extra for this "privilege".
I asked the men that delivered this why they can't add the build up boards at the bottom for the counters and they said, "I don't know, I don't think I have ever delivered one with a build up on it. You just need to get some strips of 3/4" wood and that would work." Yes, yes it does. Shame the company couldn't do this.
In the photo that edge that looks black, it is. And no there is not dark black on the top...anywhere.
I have loved dealing with Precision Countertops through the entire process! Amazing communication from the get go, templater and installers calling to let me know their eta and showing up at the agreed time. The professional, friendly staff, in person and over the phone. The quality of the counter tops, the neat and quick installation, the list goes on! I have absolutely nothing but good things to say about my interactions with them.
The glue must have come loose on the small piece of counter near the door because it is loose now. Can someone come to fix the problem?
Organized clear communication, high quality materials, efficient crews, and overall beautiful work! I could not be more satisfied and strongly recommend Precision for any work.
I had a wonderful experience dealing with everyone from this company. They are all knowledgeable, efficient, experienced, and just plain nice. I will, and have already, told others to have their work done by them. I am thrilled with my finished project!
Fast and quality service. Timeline was fast and accurate!
The installation was fairly smooth and didn’t take long, however the caulking job was sloppy and required a lot of cleaning up of the edges. It was paintable caulk, but not until after I had to straighten the edges. I think it could have been done more neatly. The installers and the tech that did the measuring were very pleasant and that part was great. I just didn’t expect to have to so much finish work myself before painting. The countertop and sink look great and so far are very easy to maintain.
My house was built in 1905. There is not a plumb wall or level surface to be found
Precision Countertops turned out perfect. The installers worked quickly and efficiently, yet found perfection.
This is the 2nd job that i have had Precision do for me. I was so pleased with the 1st job of installing new bathroom countertops that i had them bac to do my kitchen countertops. From beginning to the end they were professional, knowledgeable, do quality work, and nice people to deal with. I would definitely have them back to work for me again.
I (the homeowner) love the finished product, and the service people were very prompt, nice, and knowledgeable. However, the template for the bathroom vanity somehow didn't capture the exact positioning of the bathroom sink, since it required the sink to be seated about a 1/2 inch further forward than it had before. Therefore, a plumber was needed to adjust the drain pipes below the countertop after it was installed. I believe my contractor (McInnis) has taken up the cost reimbursement the plumber with Precision Countertops.
Absolute pro's with top-level communication from start to finish!
