very likely
The only thing that prevents a higher rating is the fact that we are not getting any communication on when the Kitchen sink will be installed. See note below
Working with Precision Countertops has been a pleasure. They have been professional and reliable every step of the way.
Precision Countertops is a quality company and product/workmanship is the best.
The entire process was handled in an efficient and professional manner in the time frame that was promised
It took almost 10 months! With no accountability or outreach from management regarding the reoccurring issues. I don’t think it’s their first time shipping to have the counter break over and over again. First contractor is an awful human that needs to be hard reset to be normal again.
Very professional, on time, worked with us instead of postponing the countertop placement when there was an issue with our vanity
I will likey not recomment PC . I was disppointed with my seam...and disappointed that there was nothing we could do to fix it. because it was within tolerance
Not happy with the installers decisions, they did not listen to me.
All work was done in a timely, efficient and quality manner. Time was taken to make sure everything was done correctly and cleaned up after work was done.
Easy to work with. Professional and friendly. Quickly corrected an error and met our time constraints.
While searching for a new countertop, we discovered Home Depot's partnership with Precision Countertops. From choosing the countertop at the store, to templating and install, the experience was excellent. Precision Countertops kept us informed with every step in the process reducing much of the stress normally associated with this type of renovation. Pricing is based on square footage rather than having to buy the whole slab. This is by far the most economical way to go and I highly recommend it. Additionally, the variety of countertop options is amazing. A minor hiccup over installation methods was resolved quickly and within a couple of weeks, we had a beautiful, new countertop installed in our laundry room. Overall, we are extremely happy with the results and highly recommend taking advantage of the Home Depot/Precision Countertops partnership.
Everything fit perfectly and looked absolutely beautiful when completed.
The cree who took out the old counter tops and installed our ew counter tops were efficient, friendly, well organized, and left a clean work space. We absolutely love our new granite counter tops!
I was pleased with their work except that there is kind of a foggy area on my countertop that they said they’re coming out and a week or two to buff out other than that it’s beautiful!
The installation TEAM were fantastic. They worked as a team, worked efficiently, cleaned as they went, were professional and showed great pride in their craftmanship. The product is exactly what we saw in the showroom and the finished job is beautiful.
The cost of the job while a bit more than we budgeted, was comparable to the other bids we sought. What sold us on Precision was that we could look at the product on-site rather than having to go to multiple wholesale vendors. Once we sat the product, we both agreed 'This is the One'. Marilyn and Ashley were great to work with.
The installers (Ivor and his colleague) were very knowledgeable and professional. Provided a great deal of information to help us with the installation process. The person who measured was a little helpful, but not enough to help guide us through the process. The plumber was very sloppy.
The two installers were not very personable. They were very short with their answers. The kitchen island had glue globs that squeezed out when the quartz was placed onto our new cabinet fronts I happened to see prior to it fully drying. It was in plain site and should’ve been seen by the installers. Just sloppy.
The installers did not use the recommended hardware to support the new sinks, they didn’t tell us until we noticed them in the trash they left behind. When I called them after they left they said it was trash that they used a different undermount glue. I asked to confirm as it didn’t make sense and he repeated it was trash. I also asked about the makeshift stick holding up the sink. Only then did he say to keep the stick in place for 24 hours to let the glue set. Then we could install the new faucet. Another detail left out of the instructions when they finished up. If I would not of asked, we may of had the sinks fall!!! Unacceptable.
Finally they left a huge mess and disagreed that they should take the old sinks. They finally did but we were left with the rest of the mess to clean up. The counter tops seem good, but the installation process was not good.
Precision countertops were great to work with. They covered the process very thoroughly. They got the job done quickly and perfectly.
Great crew, great product, what I wasn’t happy with was all the text messages. Why not do emails
They hold up in court where text messages do not.
I would recommend Precision Countertops to anyone looking to get new countertops. I just love mine!
I now understand how many moving parts there are to a remodel. With all those parts and everyone I dealt with at Precision I was impressed and thoroughly pleased with their exceptional care. It is evident that they like their jobs. That says a lot about the company.
Precision sells high quality materials and their work matches.
Very, very pleased.
We were lied to and were given limited options for our sink. The fact that they don’t have a local shop to make custom holes for installation of a sink of our choice is why I would not recommend this company in Alaska.
We have fantastic countertops now. However, going through a box store, and dealing with some challenges with the manufacturer left me coming out of the project thinking I wished I would have went through a smaller local company because I believe they would have been far more responsible and accountable to me as a customer.
I already have!
I was unsure how going through a larger box store would go when changing my kitchen countertops but when I asked who the installer would be and saw all the good reviews for precision countertops it put me at ease. My experience at every step was easy and only exceeded my expectations, including the amount of time it took to complete my project. So happy I went with them and would certainly choose them for future projects.
Everything was very professional, everyone was easy to work with, Amanda was great, countertops were done way before I thought they would be, and the installation was quick and countertop itself seems to be perfect.
This is the second time that we have had Precision Countertops do an installation at our home, and once again, they did an outstanding job. They were professional, personable and efficient. We highly recommend them.
The countertop itself is nice, however, there are some spots in it including a particular white round spot that is very obvious but nothing that the company was able to do anything about except referring us to the manufacturer. The installation started off with a crew that refused to carry the countertop to the kitchen and insisting that it should have been split into two parts which would look terrible and that was because the crew was not the right one as they were old and about to retire and told us they don’t want to retire in wheelchair!!! The company then had to reschedule the installation which cost us another week of delay but the new crew was much better and was able to install it with no big issues!
Everything was fine except for then scheduling system for measure and install. It was dictatorial and not at all geared toward customer needs. The worst I've ever seen experienced.. amazingly bad for an entity still in business.
We have used Precision countertops in 4 homes now for our renovations (twice in Bend, OR and now twice in North Idaho). We have been pleased every time with the professionalism, timeliness and quality of product. Only once have we ever needed anything fixed and it was resolved efficiently.
This time was the fastest turnaround from template to install (less than 3 weeks I think) which we were very happy with and they were flexible with adjusting for our schedules.
I have been in the trades since 1976 as a project manager involved on many large projects. I have worked with all the tradeand when I setup to do a job, I always choose the trades on my jobs who have been professional and efficient, I would put Precision Countertops in that catergory. Job well done.
This was the best experience I’ve had with any contractor through this whole long kitchen remodel experience. From the folks at Home Depot who placed the order, Precision’s project management, to Counterfitters installation. Nice team work! Way to raise the bar for everyone else!
I would recommend Precision Countertops for the workmanship but not we had issues with scheduling.
The installers were pleasant and efficient and the counters look great.
I would recommend Precision Countertops to any of my friends and family. My experience was great and all the people I worked with were very nice. Their communication is outstanding! I was never left wondering where we were at in our project. Had a couple unexpected things come up and had to change around our schedule a bit and they were happy to accommodate that. Never felt like they were frustrated with the issues we had thay delayed the install. Great company to have your Countertop replaced by!
This rating is cumulative of a few things I've described below - there were enough minor issues that I would probably recommend a friend try another company.
Not happy with the installation of our new countertops. Damaged/chipped/scratched. Installer clearly did NOT want to discuss any concerns. Should not have been surprised that he did not alert Precision Countertops, When I followed up they did get back to me quickly. We are waiting several weeks for someone to come out and take a look. Glad we are not moved in yet.
At every step of the process the company kept us informed.
I asked for a specific beveled edge with the first Home Depot salesperson who came to my home. The second Home Depot person didn't seem to know about this and asked me some technical measurement questions, which I didn't know how to answer. I said, "I want what we told the first person." Since the second person didn't have images or anything for me to look at, I described that I wanted the edge we told the first person, that was clean looking and it was also one of the free edges that wasn't very ornate. I think it was probably Home Depot's fault that I ended up with something I didn't ask for, but I'm still happy with it. It looks great, in fact. It just isn't what I asked for. The reason I wouldn't' recommend this to a friend is because ending up with something other than what I originally wanted would not be very satisfying to most people at this price.
During the install, I discovered they had made an error in cutting the countertop. The installers continue anyway. Then, someone shows up to "fix" the error and tries to convince me that it won't look good and that isn't how they do it. I tell him that is what I ordered and that is what is on the template. He was very rude and made a "repair" that is clearly not the same quality as the rest of the countertop.
The entire installation team was very efficient, friendly and knowledgeable. Our project turned out even better than I had envisioned.
An employee came to my home tasked with laser measuring my countertops for quartz replacement. My JennAir downdraft stove required pulling out a bit for accuracy I assume. He had to muscle it out & then back into place. While pushing on it to push into place, he placed his hand on the faceplate where the oven light switch sits. I witnessed this because I was sitting right there watching him & grimacing when I saw what he was pushing on with force…the switch which is a toggle style switch. When he left I checked it & it no longer worked & was no longer attached to the inner receptacle. I contacted Sherry in the Precision office & she instructed me to send pictures which I did. Weeks went by without response. Now she’s accusing me of lying because at completion of the job a picture of the stove was taken & the toggle is sitting in the hole. Duhhh, would I leave an open hole where water could seep in & short out my entire stove? Of course not! Very unprofessional business practice! Beware!
Yes
Excellent service and quality of install.
We had an excellent experience. Chad greeted us and answered our questions. He showed us many options and recommended what would look best in our kitchen with our cabinets. After looking for 2+ years, we found the perfect countertop. Chad took our dimensions and provided us with an estimate. He also recommended other vendors that would help complete our kitchen. Chad made the process so easy.
I had a new countertop put in my kitchen. I had just refinished my wood floors. I came home to see that heavy tool boxes were being scooted across my beautiful floor. I also saw a large scratch in my brand new Bosch dishwasher after just being installed. They were careless, had no protection whatsoever on my new floor, and now I have a claim going to get it fixed. I have scratches throughout, smashed indents, and long scratches and indents.
They were professional, on time and were done and gone in a short amount of time.
We were quite satisfied with the installation. The scheduling appointments for the second order fell between the cracks. Once we called, the issue was resolved. Also, the cost was more than the original quote (we added 2 square feet to the order), and we did not get the phone call to pay the additional charges. This delayed scheduling the install. Once that was taken care of the installation appointment was scheduled.
We were referred by Cyndy at The Home Depot and we are very pleased with the outcome!
