Protech mad a terrible experience for me, a better solution. They were able to make something that was almost unlivable normal again.

They did their job professionally.

I am extremely satisfied with the work and quality of materials that was put back in the home.

I would highly advise my friend to supplement ProTech’s boilerplate contract with requirements for timely communication and a written frequently-updated milestones timeline. We were frequently in the dark, not knowing what’s next, what to expect ... this being our first fire and all, maybe some hand-holding. I would advise my friend to also visit the project frequently — trust but verify.

They did a good job. I have no complaints.

The Protech team that worked on my house were great. They were true craftsmen. It was a pleasure having them in my home. They showed up on time, cleaned up the areas they worked before they left everyday, and they answered any questions/concerns I had. I was very satisfied with their work.

They were very cooperative. The last month was kind of challenging to finish the small items, only because they were in the middle of something. The project manager was leaving Protech, and that kind of became a challenge in the end, but regardless the personal--the office staff--were very professional and very cooperative. They understood our request, so even in that part, I'd give a 4. Even with the challenges, they were very helpful, and I did recommend them to a friend of mine.

Protech Construction was nice but unprofessional throughout the process. I felt like I was the project manager and I had to schedule or track down different pieces of the project due to schedule incompetence. Our timeline did not meet our expectations.

The work took a whole year. Very sad.

I was completely satisfied and I recommend them highly. It is the best solution to a bad problem that happened.

Protech Construction were great. They provided a great service during a very stressful time. Phil was absolutely amazing. He went above and beyond to make sure that I was informed and that all my questions were answered.

They promised me to finish by 5/31. However, they didn't finish the restoration until 7/31 even I called the contractor every week. And I had to do final touch ups on my own. It had been frustrating experiences. In addition, they had built my under sink cabinet incorrectly. My original cabinet was 33" width, and the new one is 23" width. So it was very hard for me to find a right sink to fit into such small cabinet. Further, the laundry room door was different from my original one. I had a four door storage cabinet laundry room, and I reminded the contractor before he started the work. However, he built a large door storage cabinet laundry room for me at the end, and it is very disappointing.

They are a excellent company to do work for you. They all were very nice and friendly.

Crew were professional, friendly and accommodating. Good quality work.

My issue was more with the insurance people, the contractors were fine.

The only problem I had was that four days they were missing because of the rainstorms. The only thing that was a little unprofessional, was when they came to clean up. They should have come in a truck to haul it away, they used a van. I was lucky guy was driving by and took the scrap copper so I didn't have to make another haul.

They were a great easy company to work with.

Our project manager JJ was phenomenal! Excellent communicator. He never left me wondering about anything. He was consistent with scheduling appointments with the workers and checked in often to ensure work was done well. I could not have been happier. I heard so many horror stories about remoldels after damage but ours was a dream. JJ deserves a big raise so I hope his boss sees this. Thanks JJ.

I would recommend them except they are slow.

Difficult to say because they did a decent job and they were respectful but I do feel like they took their time.

Although not finished in a timely manner (can you name a contractor whose crews show up every workday?)the crews were polite and responsible. Their work was very professional. Once the project manager called me, he took an active interest in seeing the work was done properly. I was consulted upfront as to materials, paint colors etc so there were no surprises. But you really should be home while the crews are working (not for security reasons, but so you can minimize the inconveniences by asking them to do certain things in certain order where possible.) The best experience I've ever had with a contractor.
