They were all nice. I have not gone on the roof to see the job.
Michael was exceptionally helpful in explaining the entire process to me. He ensured I understood each step and kept me thoroughly informed throughout, making the experience significantly smoother and less stressful.
There was always quick communication with the project manager, who was also very polite and respectful. However, there were a couple of breaks in communication with the guys doing the work: once with the roofers, who had to come back and do my shed, and again with my solar panels, who I’m still waiting on to install the critter guard upgrade I purchased. Otherwise, quality of work has great. My patience is being tested on when this critter guard will be installed, as I’m still waiting after a month of notifying that it was not installed.
I was kept informed through the process and they worked in partnership with my insurance company.
I’m not going to say anything was wrong but it took a long time to get the roof inspection approved.
We thought PRQ Exteriors as incredibly unprofessional. The contractors were terrible. Not a single job that they did was completed correctly. Every job we had required them to come out multiple times. Communication was awful. Quality of work was awful. Now that it's complete, we are incredibly dissatisfied with the level of work.
Very thorough through the entire process. Communication was great
Always communicating clearly, open dialog with managers, kept to contract and time line.
Very happy with the quality of our new roof
Worked very closely with their sales person to get the insurance lined up to cover the whole roof, when only a small portion of the roof was actually affected by wind damage (Per Colorado law). This process took more than six months. But once done scheduling of the uninstall of solar, the roof replacement, reinstallation of solar went very smoothly. Work seemed to be very good until first windstorm when several shingles blew off the roof. This shouldn’t have happened, as high wind, velocity shingles were used. PRQ quickly got someone out to fix it. Unfortunately, about a week shingles From the same area of the roof blew off. They were very responsive to get people back out here to make sure that the job was finished properly and done right. We will see if it is in the next wind storm. I appreciate their responsiveness, and overall the work quality, Attention to detail, and cleanup was excellent.
The one downside was, they did use a subcontractor for fixing the drywall in the garage ceiling, which had gotten wet from rain damage. The subcontractor sent two people who were not very skilled at installing drywall (by their own admission, and by what I witnessed. Plus the price that was paid for the drywall installation service was ridiculous. While it was covered by insurance, the quality and workmanship Was not worth the cost. I would give these guys a 1 If I could separate out the two pieces of work
I don't like how they milked out my insurance company to gain a big profit.
Amazing team. From sales rep, to inspector, payment process and handling of my insurance company.
good communication, very effecient, super clean work
It was the best service I have ever had.
They are a great company to work with.
This project took three seasons and we were never satisfied that it was completed. PRQ informed us after the fact that they did not perform the gutters and subbed the project to parties that could not deliver, added additional costs, and damaged our roof and siding. After all that, PRQ continued to send invoices a year after completion to reconcile what they thought was due. One of the worst experiences with home repairs ever!
Great company. Professional, impeccable communication throughout project, knowledgeable, roof done fast, great clean-up, roof looks great, inspection passed.
Excellent communication w me and my insurance company.
I’m not going to say that who ever did our roof didn’t do a good job, I assume they did. I just don’t like the way they handled business. We were never knew how much the roof was supposed to cost and how things were handled between them and the Insurance. We felt like we got screwed in the end’
The communication and overall execution of the job was poor. After the initial sales pitch and “rope in” to use (if insurance approved new roof, must use their company) the job fell apart. The installers ruined brand new gutters that were placed a year prior to roof replacement, the installers left a huge mess and attempted to cover up the damaged gutter. Repair people from the company had to come out 4-5 times. Each time someone came they found something else that needed repair. There was no project manager on site day of install, as was told there would be, so how do you communicate with people who don’t speak English and don’t respect the property. A really big disappointment and quite honestly who knows if the install was even done properly. I would not recommend this company, but rather caution and not recommend to someone needing roof or home repair work.
They were great to work with and coordinated insurance
PRQ not only did a great job with my roof replacement, but their flexibility with my schedule and patience with my situation was amazing! It is a well run company with attention to detail and I fully recommend them!
Very professional, worked closely with the insurance company. Work was done on time
After dealing with them directly, I have recommended them to 4–5 people, and they move smoothly and quickly.
They were awesome to deal with.
Rude and unreasonable, hungry for money, wont listen to reasons, put a lean on my house because the insurance company was slow to release funds and they blamed me as if I was witholding the funds. Will not recommend and I will advocate not to use PRQ to anyone. The work done was above average but the customer srvice was one of the worst I have ever encountered.
Pre-install was great. Day of install was fine. After the install it was impossible to get communication from PRQ, I had to call and email and text multiple people and they did not respond in a timely manner.
They didn't bill me correctly and had to adjust it, and did not keep to our agreed-upon schedule.
Took 6 months to complete the job
PRQ was great to work with. As a first-timer, I highly valued the patience and responsiveness in addressing my questions, needs and concerns. The re-roofing and staining the siding was completed quickly and as planned and in coorination with other work. The quality of the result fully met our expectations.
We were working with other roofer before Megan brought us in, they replaced a dangerous fan issue with insurance, I didn’t know that was an option.
We were told from the sales associate that we would not be charged anything other than the deductible. We had depreciation on our rood and had to pay almost 5000 out of pocket. This should be mentioned during the sales consult as a possibility.
From start to finish PRQ met or exceeded my expectations. Polite, professional, on time, kept me informed every step of the process. Helped me with insurance filing, never any misi
After I called and filed a warranty claim. David from the warranty dept called me and scheduled the walk through to point out all the work to be done. David was great with keeping in touch and updating me with the progress of the work. He made sure all of my concerns were addressed to my satisfaction with a courteous, out going, and processional attitude.
PRQ was fantastic throughout the journey. They thoroughly explained the process, helped me understand the benefits, and very super communicative.
PRQ Exteriors promised to replace my roof and to manage the rest of my storm damage (gutters, paint, windows, fence repair). Once my roof was replaced, PRQ explained that they do not perform any of the other work. Instead, PRQ offered me a list of contractors (one for gutters, one for paint, etc.). I would need to reach out to each contractor, arrange for a bid & scope of work, accept a contract, schedule the work, etc. I expected PRQ to manage all of this and felt it was a bait and switch tactic. Further, PRQ was slow to respond to property damage caused by the installation crew and refused to repair some of the damage, which will cost me an additional $800-$1000 out of pocket. I would not recommend PRQ Exteriors.
Everything went very well. I have no complaints.
Overall, working with PRQ was a decent experience. The job was completed in one day, half the time they crew projected, and I feel confident that the materials and workmanship are of good quality. The roofers generally left the site clean, although we are still finding shingles, nails, tape, and other pieces of plastic in the yard. There is some minor damage to the deck and railings from falling debris. The site was safe for us, but I hated seeing the workers haul 50 lb packs of shingles up a 40' ladder on their backs when the truck-mounted conveyor gave up trying to access the roof prematurely. We dealt with several great employees, but got shuttled between 4 different project managers over a 7-month period. The billing and interaction with insurance were super confusing and a 'black box'. We gave up trying to understand our costs.
Everyone I worked with at PRQ was professional and knowledgeable. They were always on time for meetings, calls, and in-person meetings. They walked me though the roof replacement process in a clear, easy to understand way. I will recommend them to anyone I meet who needs roofing services.
The PRQ team was professional, completed the work we requested, asked for our feedback, and then addressed our punch list in a timely manner and to a very high standard of excellence. We are very happy with their work and appreciate their customer service!
New roof - I had solar. PRQ said they could un-install and re-install the solar, which they did. But in doing so I lost my 25 year warranty from my solar company. PRQ should have advised me on that. The first project manager was new to her position and I believe let this fall in the cracks. The project manager who took over for her was the best. None the less, losing my warranty could have been prevented.
Also, I felt badgered for payment when I was simply waiting for my insurance money to be available. It didn’t feel good.
I've already referred proQ to my mom and sister and law. They were awesome when it came to battling insurance who didn't initially want to cover or roof. Great team and staff.
The work was done well. The conversations were not as friendly as I thought they would be.
They have no idea what they are doing.
They were very efficient, worked spot the insurance company and got the job done in timely manner.
Because it was a solar/roof combination installation, it was more complicated involving more parties. Still went smoothly.
Completely overpriced for the rough I had should’ve got a second opinion
I am likely to recommend PRQ Exteriors to a friend because the cleanup of the work site was a 10/10, the work was performed proficiently, and the repairs made to a broken skylight that was removed for flashing during install was delayed but correctly installed.
Their communication sucks.
PRQ Exteriors provided great service!
