My item were not counted accurately and they throw items away and didnt write it down to be added
I thought everyone was very courteous and informative.
I wouldn't recommend them to even build a dog house.
I am highly unsatisfied. They were very unprofessional. I have photos of the non-quality work.
PuroClean by Osborn continually missed deadlines and failed to communicate. They used subcontractors that were unprofessional without quality workmanship. Multiple subcontractors quit or got changed, and it took 10 months for our insurance claim to be finished. There were multiple price increases and work had to be redone after shotty workmanship, including flooring, the master bath, and tiling. They damaged our hardwood floors and had to replace them.
Initially everything was going fine. Then when I received the proposal it was very high in price. The breakdown on paper was confusing and i could have sworn there were double charges with different names in different sections that didn’t make sense. I made up my mind to drop them before I signed with them because I found a charge for N95 masks for their employees. Also, they would put in the contract the start and finish dates, so that was also a big red flag. NEVER HIGHER A CONTRACT WITHOUT THE BEGIN AND END THAT! That’s my advice.
I found them easy and a joy to work with. We had a unique situation, but they did a good job.
We had a house fire and we would give them an A+ at getting the debris out of the house. We are still amazed how they did it but they did a beautiful job. They did some nice things in the house that we were happy with. The things we were very unhappy with were: They were responsible for taking our household items, inventory them, clean what was salvageable and return them. What was not salvageable was to go on a list for the insurance company so we could be reimbursed for those items. We never got an inventory list even though we asked numerous times for one (both to the owner of PuroClean and the insurance adjuster), a lot of things were not put on the replacement list for us to get reimbursed for and just thrown away or whatever, most of our things were returned still dirty with fire debris still on it. We had to inventory all the food items in our kitchen because once again we ask but it was never done. We had a piano that was left in the house with no heat and ruined because it was not properly cared for. Our garage was full of fire debris and was also not cleaned so our daughter and I spent 23 hours cleaning it.and we both have asthma. I've had issues with my lungs ever since. Communication was good at first but as things progressed it was hard to get call backs. A desk that was not salvageable ended up being bought in a book store and we got a letter from the person who bought it and returned our current check books that she said were still in the drawer. How scary is that. We were contacted by letter by the company that we assume was responsible for hiring PuroClean by Osborn. In the letter they said they understand that everything was done and that we had signed that we were satisfied with everything. When we called to say we had not signed anything and that things were not done, we were told they had two signed documents by us. They sent us the documents and our signatures were forged I assume so they could get there money from the insurance company. So the bottom line was our things were not taken care of and not properly inventoried and cleaned.
All workers involved in the repairs were very courteous and polite. They did a good job overall. If I wasn't quite happy with any part of repairs, they fixed the problem. All of them seemed overwhelmed with all the jobs they were involved in, Maybe need to hire more help. But, I would definitely recommend this group.
