I would NEVER recommend PWC. As a matter of fact, I would recommend people avoid PWC, unless they like cost over runs, schedule over runs, and non-communicative project managers.
This was by far the worst experience we have had with workmen in the 30 years we have owned our home. We were left with a patchy, splotchy hardwood floor and sloppy paint work after this was dragged out over a year and a half.
I would just like anybody who is considering using them to secure a statement of worth and a schedule. It's going to require extensive monitoring because there was fraudulent billing by PWC for work they claimed was done, and it was never done.
PWC screwed up adjacent walls to the work area and we then had to fix those areas. They were very unresponsive when it came to completing this portion of the work. There were multiple other issues when they “finished”. Had to work out an agreement for the tile they also broke while on site. The on-site work crew was pleasant and competent. Management was combative.
Probably not.
Poor communication, promises made, promises not delivered.
A professional team that is very responsive and flexible.
Very disappointed with the workmanship and the quality.
Our hardwood floors look great!
The work couldn't even get scheduled without constantly calling up to find out what was going on. They sent over a carpenter who did shoddy work, which had to be re-done, plus we had to have painting re-done. This is on top of a multiple month delay in getting things scheduled. I would never work with this company again. Between the scheduling and the carpentry work, forget it. Painter and dry wall team were good but the negatives were significant. Do not hire these people.
PWC was very professional. The individual workers were great, had good personalities, and really made sure I understood everything and confirmed exactly how I wanted things.
They take forever.
I don't recommend anyone really.
No because of the delays.
During the whole process the only thing I wanted was to get it done so that I could give them a terrible review. I would highly recommend that they be taken off the list that our insurance company uses.
PWC did a great job on our home project.
I really like Holly, my project manger. She did a good job considering the amount of work that she had to juggle. She was always very courteous, helpful, and always returned my calls. I enjoyed working with the company She was a good representative of the P.W.C. Construction.
It was just the timeframe, we were put off a lot. It took way longer than I thought it should. To be without a kitchen for 3 1/2 months was very extreme for me. It was kind of a pain.
It looks like they done a good job!
After waiting for a start date and an issue with Home Depot over Vinyl, I have nothing but good things to say about PWC. The work was completed in a timely manner. The employees were courteous and helpful.
I was disappointed with the quality of workmanship regarding the floating of the utility and kitchen floors. New vinyl was glued down and the result showed wrinkles and uneven surfaces on the floor. I had to request that the floors be lifted back up and straightened out before being glued back down again. I can still the imperfections but they aren't as obvious as they were before. The new utility sink wasn't caulked to the base so it now shifts if any weight is set on it. I am hoping that within three years of the warranty I won't need to call them back. The project manager was helpful when I called her with my concerns. My frustration really is only regarding the workmanship.
We liked the work they did so well, we are having them out to bid on additional projects.
They have excellent service and they are responsive to any question or needs.
I had an extensive water damage job to be taken care of. PWC were quick to respond. A plumber had suggested them to me. It was top quality all the way. The only thing I can complain about is how long it took to get the job done, I guess because of all the different jobs that had to be assigned and lined up with each other.
This was the most unprofessional, incompetent company I have ever worked with. Schedules were never adhered too. I never knew when or if they would show up. The so called "project manager" was so incompetent that I finally had to deal directly with her manager after what was to be a week or two long project stretched to six months. The estimator refused to give me the names of stores where I could purchase tile at the unrealistically low price he gave us. The materials were sitting in my garage for days before I was told to expect delivery. He expected me to replace the 55 year old tile around the tub with the same tile-which doesn't exist anymore. The project manager was so incompetent that she sent someone to install tile around a tub that not only wasn't installed but the wall had no drywall on it. She sent three different plumbers to install a tub that PWC had removed and also stored in my garage. The first one said he couldn't install it because it was too heavy for one person to install alone. The second plumber said he wouldn't warrant the tub or installation because it was "too old." The third one came out to install a new one after the insurance adjuster got involved and said to get a new tub. I gave the PM the name and code of the paint color and brand we selected. The PM called me to say they couldn't find it. I told them the paint store within one mile of my house had it and that the information was contained in the email with the selection. The painting PWC did included three bedrooms, a hallway, a bathroom and a laundry room. The painting job was substandard. PWC never did a walk through or contacted us after the work was completed.
They were very professional, very friendly and helpful. I would recommend them to anyone that asks me.
Good operation and staff good at what they do. Enjoyed meeting and working with them. Work scheduling very poor. It took four months to complete a four day job.
Had no sense of urgency to get the job done. My schedule was never important to them.
They were so courteous, explained things so well, very pleasant to work with, very thorough, and had excellent quality workmanship.
Very professional.
They came in and did what they were supposed to do!
I was a bit put-out because I had wanted to add something to the job and the estimator had told me my job was too small. I asked if they could fit this added component in, and he said it was too small for him to consider and I didn't like that.
PCW very helpful throughout the difficult ordeal of construction process.~ Ms Lee
It shouldn't take 3 months to get the bathroom done. I knew upfront from the subcontractor who did the floor when he was going to be there. They didn't even have the bathroom finished when the floor was done.
It took to long to complete the small job I needed done. The subcontractor they had do the carpet., put in the wrong carpet pad and had to rip up all the carpet and put down the one I paid additional money for. That took another 5 days before they could come back out and do that. They also did not put down a piece between the bathroom vinyl and hallway carpet. and the carpet going into my bedroom is so high the door has to be pulled hard to shut. 2 times the supervisor of the job had to come out to my home and fix things his workers did not do correctly.
My experience, once the actual work started, was miserable! I wouldn't want anyone to go through it. I have enough knowledge to complete the work on my own. If the person working with them did not, or they didn't have enough courage to ask them to not return I cannot imagine what the process would be like. It was bad!
They were not professional. We would not use them again.
I would not recommend them to anybody. A job that should have taken 2 months took 7 months.
I am very pleased. It turned out better then I thought. The colors though are darker then I wanted. I wanted pastel but I am ok with it. The construction was better then I expected. They did a very good job. I am very pleased with the work and would recommend them anyone.
The overall problems, this has been going on for 6-7 years and it is still not done.
