My mom, dad and neighbor are all interested in Quality Built Exteriors for various projects. I told them to wait until the work was complete on our house before contacting the company. Our experience was far from seamless. I realize in construction there is a bit more wiggle room for promptness than in other businesses. However, there seemed to be quite a bit of error on our project. We had a few rescheduled meetings in the beginning (with good reason from our contact). Some of the initial emails were sent to the incorrect email address, delaying the process and items were not sent to the HOA as indicated (I reached out to the contact when the roof person contacted me to schedule an appointment, and I had to tell him the HOA had not approved the work yet). The roof people were very friendly and did a great job. The fence job was rock at first. The fence people tore our fence and left it in the neighbors yard overnight. We had to call our contact to inform her of the situation. The wrapping was rescheduled a couple times, the wrong size dumpster was delivered and when the person came to remove the dumpster he would not take it as it was overfull. I had to call our contact and report the issue so it could be resolved properly. Perhaps the most bizarre situation was the when we told the gutters would be installed on a specific day and no one came. The next morning no one came, so again, I reached out to our contact who informed me the our gutters were installed on the wrong house.
Initially we were under the impression the shed was included in the price for wrapping and roofing for our house, we signed all invoices and submitted for financing. After the job was complete and everything was closed out with financing, we received a new invoice for the shed that was due (not included in financing). When I reached out to our contact, she indicated that she spoke to my husband who gave her permission to proceed. He was unaware that the additional invoice would not be included in financing, thus I was surprised when I received an additional bill.
The contact was friendly
Definitely would recommend them if you are having issues and need your roof replaced. We have had water leaking into the house for a few years now. We have multiple companies come out and do the work but was never fixed. They came out and new what the problem was and now we finally have the roof done right and no more water coming in.
Rae is wonderful. She explains everything about any project completely and professionally.

They were on time and completed the job on time
I had a townhouse reroofed by a different company and when leaks persisted had a roof inspection done by Llyod at QBE. Lloyd took the time to explain his finding so that I could understand. His crew provided pictures of the substandard work that had been done previously. Armed with the information and explanations of Lloyd and his crew I was able to document the code violations, request and received a full refund from the previous contractor.
This is a top notch company. The quote was fair. The job was incredible. They kept me informed. A friend recommended them. I was not disappointed.
We’ve selected QBX for many jobs and referred them to all our neighbors and friends. They have also chosen them and all have been just as satisfied as we’ve been. Today, the QBX roofing crew lead by Lloyd, finished installing a new roof on our large, two-story, 3,500 sq. ft. home. The roof is complex, with many gables and hips, plus, there was a design flaw where the roof met the wide fireplace chimney. Lloyd designed and built a large diverter (called a ‘cricket’) for rain water to move around the chimney, eliminating any potential leaks in that area. I fully expected the job to be perfect and it was. The crew worked diligently, efficiently, respectfully, and professionally to complete this large project in two days despite many obstacles such as gardens, trees, and shrubbery around the entire perimeter of the house. If you read the initial review from a couple years ago below, I mention that Lloyd said we were nearing the end of the roof’s lifespan. Well, as I noted then, the only folks I’d welcome back for the replacement would be QBX. Well, they did replace the roof and this project was completed as perfectly as all the rest—we are far more than satisfied. Any potential customer choosing QBX WILL NOT be disappointed. Lloyd, your crew was fantastic!
Everything was done quickly and satisfactory. no complaints with the product. Strongly recommend this company to all my friends for any type of building needs.
First rate and top shelf
First of all Quality Built Exteriors agreed to do what many companies will not, that is to come after another company's workmanship and repair their faulty work. Rich Beasley, Exterior Specialist, clearly gave us the estimated cost of what we wanted done only after spending time with us to effectively communicate what would and could be done to rectify our situation. He also asked his Project Manager, Lloyd Johnson, to meet with us, go over the details and specifically detail what would be done to repair our roof. I had taken pictures of the faulty roof replacement done by Paramount Builders and the subsequent water damage to the decking of the roof with mold growth. After 5 years and 19 return visits, we decided to stop asking Paramount Builders to return to our home to "fix" a problem with the roof they installed leading to the subsequent water seepage, leaking and mold. We asked Paramount Builders for our money back, filed a DPOR complaint against Paramount and decided to get the roof replaced again before we had solar panels installed. Quality Built Exteriors walked us through the entire process after much discussion about how to prevent leaks on mansard roofs going forward. Either Rich or Lloyd continued to communicate to us about the installation dates. Quality Built Exteriors agreed to collaborate with our solar company regarding payment for the completed roof job. A roof replacement warranty is only as good as the company which backs it. Integrity is probably the key factor in any warranty along with quality products. Quality Built Exteriors is extremely confident in the Owens Corning products they use and are able to empower their clients with the confidence that they will do a superior installation with what they believe to be superior products. They covered the entire area including valleys and critical areas, where wind could force water under the shingles, with Ice and Water Shield. Project Manager, Lloyd Johnson, was here for the tearing out of the old materials and much of the entire process. After instructing his team of installers regarding the key elements of this job he networked with his team throughout the installation to ensure the work was being done properly. We took a lot of pictures and he encouraged his team to be open about their process and to pay attention to the details. Lloyd was here at the completion of the job and continued to communicate with us throughout. I would highly recommend Quality Built Exteriors to my friends and family.
Quality Built Exteriors was very efficient, and I was surprised they completed the job in one day.
The planning planning was on time and very good.
This will be the very last company I would recommend. Matter fact, I would never recommend this company. I usually don’t take time to do reviews but I feel this one was very needed. If I could give no stars I would, but unfortunately I can’t so the one star will have to do. Mr. Johnson and Mrs. Amber are the only two reliable and professional people I would deal with if you choose to go with this company. Other than that, Mrs. Gregory needs an etiquette class on how to speak and treat customers, her method didn’t work for me. Very unprofessional and lowest on the totem pole to even be talking to anyone the way she spoke to me. My pride and dignity as a person comes first, after she spoke with me the way he did and had me on speaker phone, I started looking for another company for my fence repair. Maybe $20,000 worth of repairs isn’t a lot to some people, but it’s a lot to me and I expect to be treated with respect and professionalism. I treat people like I want to be treated. Mrs Gregory is very lucky to still have her job with the way she spoke to me, but I’m a firm believer in reaping what you sow.
They were above exceptional, responsive, and timely. They needed no direction, kept the area clean, and did exactly what they said they were going to do. I thought the value of my services far exceeded what I paid. It was remarkable! I would recommend them to anyone and I have! They were outstanding, trustworthy, delivered on their promises, and were open and honest about the price providing details. They were not the least expensive, but I got the most value for my money. I am extremely happy! I couldn't say more. I plan on using them for other work on my house!
I cant put my name behind a company who failed to give me a receipt, clean after theirselve or update me throught out the task.
QBE did an excellent job on my roof. They had it complete in one day and cleaned up during and after the install. I highly recommend them for any projects you may have around the house exterior!!!
Based on value, QBT has done good work in overall.
Quality Built Exteriors provided quality service with quality products. We're very pleased with their work. The sales representative was outstanding.
Our roof looks amazing! The team of roofers did an awesome job. We did not receive a heads up that a dumpster was being dropped off beforehand though.
They did everything very quickly and cleaned up the job site perfectly. Everything looks very good and the one problem that arose they fixed immediately.
Very professional, and efficient. Large 2500 square ft brick ranch roof done in one day... ir was great.
The roofers did not clean up, I had a damaged window put in and instead of replacing it they repaired it.
Ray Carter, our representative, was very helpful and informative at the start of the project.
It was an outstanding experience all around, from beginning to end.
