LeBrenta was really awesome, super sweet, and very professional.
I was very impressed with Nick Anderson, the Project Manager, and the handling of the claim
I had a few issues with the general contractor. but we did work a lot of it out. But I received a bill saying i owe dthem but when i did the numbers they really owed me and when i called never heard anything back. This was over 3 months after the job was completed and I sign a paper stating that the job was finished and paid in full.
From start to finish QFB Property Restoration Project Mgr Todd Ray and Contents Mgr Mileidy Mari kept us informed, coordinated all activities and workers and followed up with us on every detail. I recommend QFB Property Restoration amd would use them again.
Quality First Builders are very prompt and very caring. They make sure their work is 100% satisfied. They are so good. I would recommend them to anyone. They were always on time. Everything was well done. They made me happy. What I see in them as a company is really awesome. The guys were wonderful. Nick was so awesome and wonderful. He made sure that they work was done, it was done completely and that I was happy about it. Quality First Builders is good and a very, very wonderful company. I would use them again, and again, and again if I had too.
I was very happy with the work and had no complaints.
I have been business for over fifty years as an engineer. I really like them. They are really courteous, professional, and polite. I am really happy with them. They are good people.
The claim process with Quality First Builders was a long drawn-out process. It was really not their fault. It was just the situation with a hurricane.
Fabulous company.
Buy or beware!
Our project manager Todd was outstanding!
There are still finishing some items.
Only reason it is two stars is b/c the sub-contractor did a decent job. QFB's estimator took over a month to get an estimate back to me and thats only b/c I kept reaching out to him and QFB's office line. The project manager was onsite for no more than 15 mins throughout the process. He honestly looked at the job as below him by the amount of time he spent onsite and the lack of communication. Would recommend look at other local companies before using them.
After the beam fell in my living room and I reported it to the insurance, Quality Builders sent a person to prepare for the repair. I was told that they would begin, but nothing happened, then they sent another person and again there was a delay. However, once QFB sent "TrueBlue total house care" to my home, things changed. This company worked tirelessly on weekends to complete my repair. They did a fantastic job.
Fast professional and courtious
They changed supervisors three times. Each time it took a week or two for the new guy to come out and get started. One young man said if they would just let him do the job he would be done in two months. It was frustrating, it took forever.
The General Manager assigned to our job was not available for follow up and missed many deadlines he had communicated especially in the Thanksgiving, Christmas holiday periods. Work ceased on our project numerous times with no alerts or explanations provided. Consequently, job completion took two to three MONTHS longer than originally estimated. Subcontractors used seemed very professional but were hampered by poor direction provided by the General Contractor. Also, the GC resigned near the end of the project and I was never given this information. He also suggested I sign a work completion document so Insurance Company payment could be made to QFB. He assured that the pending job items would complete even though this document were signed. Without warning, he resigned from QFB days after our conversation.
PM Inform Progress - He was outstanding, professional and thorough.
Glen went out of his way to find the correct hinges to fit our cabinets and made the changes we asked for. Except for the function of one drawer we are satisfied with the quality of the cabinets and workmanship. Glen was always respectful and helpful. It took a bit longer to complete the job but most of that was due to our being out of town. The installation was precise and well done. A time or two appointments were canceled or no one showed up but all in all we are happy with the results.
Our gratitude goes out to Quality First. When we had an issue with mold that needed remediation because someone in our house has a very severe mold allergy, QFB did a careful, excellent job. In particular, Bob Hutchinson provided extraordinary leadership: concerned, compassionate, superbly competent. Todd Ray led a team of great performers who communicated consistently, did what they said they would do, and always seemed deeply committed to doing their work well. This is the first team of workers we've ever let have access to our house without our presence because they earned our trust.
Overall Services - We are tremendously impressed with the leadership and communication of the team, as well as the work.
Additional Comments - John Frawley was an extremely knowledgeable and professional individual. He did a fantastic job organizing and completing all repairs in a timely manner. Well Done John!!!
Additional Comments - Couldn’t be more pleased Excellent job John Frawley always went the extra mile any problem he took care of it right Away Outstanding Company
Additional Comments - Overall my experience with the remediation team was seamless they explain to me what was gonna happen they were present for the packing and took care of everything they packed cleaned up after themselves the day the 10th went up they explain to me exactly what was going to be happening they answered all my questions and provided a wonderful service I highly recommend Quality First
It was great dealing with Robert Carrasquillo from start to finish. He was always friendly and informative.
Process Improvement - No they were extremely professional and accommodating. I could not of been more pleased with Todd and his team.
QFB took care of organizing everything, plumbing, carpeting, painting. I didn't have to make a lot of phone calls to get people to do the work. The crews that came to my house were excellent, friendly and trustworthy. Most of the time I wasn't even there. I am very happy with the quality of the work that was done and how well Glenn organized it all. I would definitely recommend QFB.
Project Manager Overall - Glen did a great job of explaining what was going to happen and organizing it all. He was always available when I called with a question. Always very courteous.
Subcontractors Professionalism - The subcontractors were wonderful to work with. They listened to my concerns and were good about explaining what they were doing.
Additional Comments - I would definitely recommend Quality First Builders and the different crews that work for them.
They did a great job. John Frawley was responsive to inquiries and advised regularly regarding status.
I really doubt you'd want to publish my answer to the above question, after reading my responses to the preceding questions. Mr. Carrasquillo only showed up twice, first to 'compare' Mr. Cozart's estimate to one HE prepared - then later, to collect my deductible check AND Mr. Cozart's payment to me (which I endorsed, so it could be cashed/deposited by your subcontractor, I presume. Mr. Carrasquillo did NOT want to accept it that way; he had wanted a check for the combined amounts from ME, but I said "Why waste a perfectly good check?" After that I could never contact him by phone. He only contacted me once or twice, after I had talked with Mr. Cozart about 'problems' with the job his subcontractors had done and asked that he get someone to 'correct' them. 'Problems' with the job included my east end fence and gate replacement was done totally unlike how I had requested it before "Zach" started that part of my job. It took me more than two weeks to get anyone back here to re-do it! Also, I don't think Mr. Cozart's estimate 'intended' for ALL the popcorn finish to be stripped from the ceiling of my garage before repairs were made to the drywall. Even though "Zach" covered most of my 'stuff' in the garage, there was still a LOT of peeled popcorn covering parts of my garage after he removed his coverings and took them with him. Oh, the guy who came later to 'do' the new popcorn application... did NOT take his coverings with him, as contractors are supposed to do. He stuffed them into my recycle bin, 'coated' with popcorn splatterings! I didn't think the recycling collectors would appreciate that, so had to transfer it all to my garbage bin. When "Zach" got his instructions to return to my job site, he called me to ask "What exactly do you want redone?" I told him, and he became a bit antagonistic toward me about it. I replied that perhaps I hadn't described my 'requirements' clearly enough - to hopefully cool him down a bit. But he curtly replied "I'll be there at 8 tomorrow." I was expecting a rough time 'working' with him to re-do that part of my fence, but we were able to work as a team to finish the job satisfactorily. I'm 'happy' with the results.
Quality work at a fair price. Communication along the way could have been a bit better. Overall pleased with their performance.
My wife and myself were very please with the whole process, and we plan on using them again in the near future with other jobs around our condo. Once again well done.
Project Manager Overall - Responsible, reliable, understanding professional. Excellent customer service. Thank you!
very professional workmanship by the entire crew that completed the repairs to my home
'QFB' did a great Job from beginning to completion... We are very satisfied... And PM Robert Mack is very Professional, honest and helpful... We would recommend 'QFB' to anyone...!
If you want your project to be done by a very professional, fair, courteous, timely , friendly and sincere company- call QFB !I found them far above any other service companies that I've dealt with in the past here in Florida.
Additional Comments - Very professional staff who knows their business.
I have been in The Design and Construction Field all my life; 'QFB' did a great job... I would recommend ya'll anyyome... Breant Stevenson and his crew are terrific guys, I can't say enough about how much I approve of their work and etthics...
Carrier Name - USAA
Very nice to do business with.
The entire set of experts are all super professional and efficient. They would be my only call if ever needed again.
Project Manager Overall - John was highly professional. I would recommend QFB to anyone and everyone that needed their services.
I was happy to be back in my home after 3 months. I do realize that two separate claims - one for the July 19 water damage and one for the mold from a bathroom/kitchen leak - made the final sign off later than anticipated. I must commend the company for the speed and efficiency of the subcontractors (?) who took care of the various phases of the restoration. All were such nice people who were so easy to work with at every turn. Robert Mack was always helpful and gracious in our dealings; however, I felt at times that perhaps he needed support in handling so many projects at one time.
Robert was friendly and helpful every step of the way.
Glen actually answered every call or got back to me right away when I left a message. That is not common today as most folks choose to respond with text or you are always hearing a recording.Glen SAVED ME TIME AS HE WAS ABLE TO COMMUNICATE IMMEDIATELY WHAT WAS GOING ON
ESTIMATED 2 MONTHS IT TOOK 6 1/2 MONTHS DURING WHICH SPENT ENTIRE TIME IN A HOTEL WITH MY DOG. OVERALL I AM VERY SATISFIED WITH THE END PRODUCT THE WORMANSHIP WAS EXCELLENT. THE OWNER, JOHN BURKETT, REFUSED TO REIMBURSE ME $3,000.00 MORE OR LESS WITH QUESTIONABLE COST OVERRUNS. I DID'NT MAKE A ISSUE OF IT BECAUSE I AM 81 AND TO OLD FOR ARGUMENTS.
I understand the delays due to the illness of the original supervisor & the hurricane problems, & we were very patient with your employees. However, I was greatly disturbed when I received the invoice, even before the job was finished, & I had already paid my deductible. After talking to Todd & to the authorities, they eased my mind. Todd Caldwell is a very good & honorable man, & a fellow deacon. It was a real pleasure dealing with him.Knowing
TO: QFB Property RestorationFROM: CPO GRE: Restoration of HomeI would like to thank QFB Property Restoration Company for exposing me to what I consider a highly professional and outstanding individual, Project Manager, Mr. John Frawley. I must admit in the beginning I was very uneasy about getting positive results from your company. However, Mr. Frawley completely changed my view. Mr. Frawley assured me from the beginning that the job would be completed to satisfaction and to my liking. Mr. Frawley held true to those words.I have to describe Mr. Frawley as one who demonstrated maturity, professionalism, a model of diplomacy ensuring the quality of work was consistently high. Mr. Frawley was a methodical planner and organizer with sub-contractors and with customer (that would be me). Mr. Frawley constantly kept me apprised of what to expect as each job/task was being completed. In addition, Mr. Frawley would maintain communication with me to ensure I was satisfied with outcome and plus he would always personally inspect the work to ensure no discrepancies were present.I never expected this restoration to go as smoothly as it did. I attribute this success a great deal to Mr. Frawley’s wealth of knowledge in this field and high quality of customer service orientation. Thank you once again QFB for the introduction of what you company does, as well as, the type of personnel you employ. Mr. Frawley no doubt is a fine example of what QFB stands for.
Took awhile but am now getting updates
The water mitigation side of the business was spot on. Not so with the subs to repair drywall and baseboards. I can see where the drywall repairs were made and they left the baseboard repairs unfinished. They replaced a single 10' section of baseboard with two pieces that didn't even meet and didn't fill the gaps. Also, same type of gap was left at the outside corner. Their repairs were average at best or at a DYI level; certainly not what should be expected from professionals. I am still waiting for a baseboard to be dropped off so I can do the repair myself. The plumbers I hired to do the repipe ( not QFB) repaired a dozen holes they made in the walls and I cannot detect even one repair. It is easy to see the repair the QFB's subs made.
Jeff Bergman of QFB Property Restoration was informative and attentive to all our concerns. We appreciate his knowledge and assistance through a very stressful claim.
The repairs were not completed for 7 months and way past initial estimate of 2 months.
