I will recommend Renner Bros. to anyone that is looking at roofing and carpentry work.

Professional in every aspect and throughout the project. Start to finish I was impressed with the communication, execution and general attitude towards the project. Every trade who showed up was kind, professional and left a very clean job site. These are all qualities that can be hard to come by in a busy economy with lots of business opportunities- we always felt like a priority!

When Marc came out to evaluate my roof, he did a thorough inspection of both the top and sides. He took pictures so he could walk me through the trouble areas and help me to understand his recommendation. He was able to accommodate my ask for a quick proposal turnaround and I had a new roof within the week. The Renners Bros team in the office made it easy to schedule my appointments and receive and pay invoices. I would highly recommend.

I selected RBC because I had attic ventilation issues, and anticipated significant carpentry work before shingle replacement. Plus, I anticipated surprises after we removed some roof boards. RBC simply did what they said they would do -- and we had surprises. Process was -- here is what we discovered, here is what we recommend to correct and resolve, and after I fully agreed they did what they said they would do. I am delighted with the job they did.

Areas Of Satisfaction - First, when they came out initially to evaluate the job -- they listened to me, and they got it quickly.. They spent time on the roof, in the attic, and examining the soffits. When the proposal arrived, I reviewed it with RBC item by item -- and it included everything we talked about. I was satisfied with the complete proposal.When they arrived to do the work -- the team worked hard, and attention to detail was excellent. RBC had a leader (Lance Larman) who did what I asked him to do. I asked him to alert me to certain parts of the project, and alert me to all surprises -- which he did. I would get on the roof with Lance -- he would explain the circumstance, and what he recommended. My sense is the workmanship was excellent.

Additional Comments - I had issues with my roof and inadequate attic ventilation on a 60 year old house. I wanted to work with a firm who could handle all my issues, included anticipated surprises discovered when we removed RBC. RBC is a "no-nonsense" and honest team. I am completely satisfied with the work results, and the interaction / decision discussions we had thru-out the project.

Communication - There were a couple of communication hiccups - when guys were supposed to come but didn't or were delayed...just minor issues. I work from home which is the only reason why this impacted me. Overall, the communication was really good.

Contractor Knowledge

Contractor Knowledge - The owner knew exactly what was needed to address what has been a long-standing issue and even offered to walk the team from a different company who "had the right idea but not execution" through it to correct their work. We ended up having Renner Brothers do the job & have been pleased with the results!

Quality Of Workmanship

Quality Of Workmanship - We have had 3 previous (and expensive) attempts to correct a leak into a child's BR wall seeming to enter near a chimney. Not only did Renner Brothers identify and finally fix this problem, they fixed other smaller things they saw for free BC we are selling the house and they knew those items may come up. They also offered to transfer a warranty to the new owners.

Value Received

Value Received - We are facing a serious health issue (Stage 4 cancer for Howard) and subsequent financial problems. The owner provided top notch work at or near cost and went above and beyond to fix a few other small items he noticed while at our property for free. We are extremely grateful to him!!!

I am totally satisfied with the finished job, my room is noticeably warmer and the roof outside, as well as the ceiling inside looks great! Changing my room's ceiling from glass panels (that always leaked even when new) to a metal roof with oversized skylights was not an easy job. An added plus that I really appreciate is that the room now is exactly the same temperature as the rest of the house during winter temps.

The owner came out and did the estimate and explained everything to my husband and did exactly what he said would be done.

I am totally satisfied with how the entire project was handled. The entire roof was inspected prior to providing the estimate. Possible options were explained completely, helping me to make a decision I was comfortable with. The actual installation was performed and completed as promised. The roof consists on several peaks and valleys and the workmanship appears superior. Once completed, they re-inspected the roof to make sure every detail on the contract was fulfilled. In short, completely satisfied.
