My fire was November 7th, and the problem is that Restoration Management Company failed to come in and help my home recover by putting the plastic up that was needed for excess debris to come down. That sat for weeks, and I felt it was neglected. The air quality, inside the home because I was sleeping outside of the home in a trailer, could've been improved immediately by having an air scrubber for the area that the electrical fire burned up into the attic, and it was never covered. I feel like for a restoration company that should be first and foremost. I have been in the house trying to clean, and they've been here a few times. They have never even picked up a sponge, a mop, or anything. The problem is that they've taken all my things to "clean them," however, they don't leave you with any surface that any cleaner once they clean. I had two women in a 4'x5' bathroom for 3 hours, going through all of my toiletries, dumping them into bags. They were just carelessly dumping them into bags like any little thing that I had out that was halfway organized, they just dumped it. It was completely upsetting and for them to be in my bathroom for 3 hours, and they didn't even wipe down the mirror. They gave me a stupid excuse of "Oh, that's not included in this part of it. We're just doing the pack out." I just opened a $17,000 bill and a $2,800 bill for the 59 pages of tribial things they documented into pictures from my bathroom. The next morning, I wouldn't even allow them back into my house to go through the rest of the bathroom, the kicthen, or any other places. I cannot even imagine what people go throiugh because the company is not transparent in telling you what to expect as far as charges. I am blown away with how they do things, and I am so unhappy.
Employee knowledge regarding items that were burned in a fire was very low. Efficiency when performing restoration work was very low.
Restoration Management Company was so quick. It was a Sunday, and they came right out and took care of everything that day. It worked out nice.

They didn't do anything. The representative came in. He did a visual check. He did not go into the crawl space or lift any roof or tiles to see if there were any smoke indications on the roof. He didn't try to lift one tile to see how far the smoke went.

I had some water damage to the exterior of my home. After the first home inspector refused to go under my house, my insurance company hired Restoration Management to inspect under my crawlspace. Restoration Management rescheduled my appointment three times, but not until after I had taken time off from work to be at my home so I wasted my PTO. They tried to reschedule again and I wouldnt accept that so they finally sent a different person. Their reason was because they had received another bigger job than mine.
They were very professional and respectful of our time. They got a lot of stuff done when they were with us. They were very considerate when they were going through our belongings, and handled everything with care.
