Rhinback Roofing made the complete process of purchasing the new roof to the installation and final cleanup and inspection a pleasure!!
The first attempt at solving our leak did not go so well, but their commitment to excellence was appreciated.
Rhino-Back Roofing is without a question a first class company with men and women of integrity working diligently serving their clients.
Working with Rhino-Back Roofing was a pleasure and everything went just as they described. From the initial meeting, to some gentle follow-up from the company, to the sale, to an introduction to the administrator, to spelling out the specific schedule, to the actual installation, and including after-installation, I knew what to expect and then received it. Everything was so well organized and well done on everyone's part.
Owens Corning top tier products and price was the reason we chose Rhino-back.
They did what they saidthey w
They did an outstanding job! They showed up early in the morning, stripped three buildings, redid the whole thing to Owens Corning specs and were done by 7:00 at night. It was a beautiful job - beautiful flashing work and everything!
A flower pot was cracked after being moved. Sandy grit which was not moved by leaf blower resulted in black bebris being brought into the house. Deck and entrance areas should be loosened with broom then blown away.
for the money i paid and the time of year for a fairly easy job i think the price was a little high
I would not recommend Rhinoback to anyone who needs a fixed schedule.
I would Rhino Back company in a heart beat
I have already recommended them.
Everybody knew their job and did it well. Clean up was constant. A worker showed up for two days to run a magnet over the properly for nails.
This is a very professional organization. Communication prior to contract, after contract, during installation, and after installation ... Superb
I've left a fairly long review through the Rhino-Back site if you'd like to see the details, though most are noted below as well. https://www.trustindex.io/reviews/www.rhinobackroofing.com
Clean up was not up to the level I expected and was promised. I asked the guy who came for the 2nd clean up if he was going to go through the pachysandra to get the materials out. I was surprised when he said he didn't do pachysandra. That meant I had to do it and that is not what I was told during contract discussion. I was told 'everything would be picked up and it would look like you were never there'. All he did was run the magnet around the perimeter of the house which the installation crew had already done, took out a blower and blew the patio and walkway. That was it. I just spent 2 hours on my hands & knees picking out the nails, shingles and other materials. I'm 75 and paid good money for this job. I shouldn't have had to do that. I would recommend you to a friend but with a warning on the poor clean up.
Nothing to add
Rhino-Back did a fantastic job, I'd recommend them without hesitation.
Everything went smoothly.
Rhino Back Roofing did a good job, fast, clean.
Great job
Excellent working with them
Everyone from the managers to the schedulers are super friendly and accommodating
Brandon who came and have us the estimate was really great and caring. We were promised the roof would be started in 2 weeks and unfortunately it took closer to 6-7 weeks. Once the job was scheduled we were told by the field supervisor, Jeff, that our gutter guards would be removed and most likely damaged/destroyed. When asking what will be done about that and if they’re not destroyed how are they being put back on, he wasn’t sure and said he’d try to fix them. Luckily they were fine but only after having to call the office and explain what I was told. During the install the workers removed and covered 3 skylights. On one of the skylights it required two pieces of plywood pushed together. The workers had a noticeably large gap in between and 3 half dollar coin sized holes on the plywood. It seemed it was going to be left this way until I said something. After completing the rest of the roof we were told the large palate of leftover material would be picked up and we’d get a refund for those materials. Come to find out we only would get reimbursed for 3 pieces of plywood which is what it is. We were told as well that someone would come and clean the yard and use a magnet to get the rest of the nails and then come again later for a final sweep. Someone came once, leaf blowed the driveway and said he would come back that Saturday (2/3/24) to finish the yard since it had snowed and he needed it to melt. As of 2/12/24, no one has returned and we’re finding materials, including nails, all over the yard, driveway, porch and walkway. Fortunately, my young son and dog have not stepped on any nails. About a week after the project was completed I noticed that there was multiple sections along the front and rear of the home where the shingles weren’t adhered to the plywood. I reached out and was told Jeff would get back to me soon. He did, and told me he’d be here no later than Friday 2/9/24. Not only did he not show up but he didn’t even try to reach out to reschedule or state he couldn’t make it. He did however reach out 2/12/24 and showed up around 9:45am. He acknowledged what I reported and did put more adhesive down. We very much wish that it wasn’t this much of a hassle to get everything completed and that they would have followed through on their promises. The roof does look good which is why I put a 3/5.
Installation crew were Great. My new roof was installed quickly and professionally. The crew went over my yard for clean-up continuously through out the job.
