We researched roofing companies because we have an 1890s Victorian house with a complex roof consisting of a mansard and flat roof. We needed someone with experience and expertise to meet the many, many challenges. It took two weeks from start to finish. The roofing crew, customer service and pricing were exceptional. They even took out an unused chimney! We have already recommended this company to everyone we know!

I was very hesitant when I started on this project. I knew that I had to have a contractor do the work so I requested thee (3) bids for different companies; I only heard back from two. Both bids were within $1000 of each other. Russell set up a meeting to go over their quote. I went to the meeting and the first thing they start with is a video ( I was impressed with the information provided - though being in the construction business I was familiar with a lot of it).
They scheduled a date for installation and were not late. To say the least I was very impressed with the whole operation from beginning to end. I would recommend them in a heartbeat without reservation. Office staff was great, supervisor was easy to work with and the field staff, especially the crew supervisor was great. Kept me informed of what was going on, cleaned up every day, most impressive.
I would use them again if I had another job to do. My Thanks to everyone at Russell Roofing GREAT JOB - WELL DONE.

A little pricey, but so far so good. Found plywood sub roof on east side of house that was replaced was not replaced flush with edge of roof and caused the drip edge to not be consistently supported...small area, but for the price I expect

They offer a wide selection of choices for materials, and they sit down with you to go over the process, the materials, and the warranty. Reuben personally walks you through all of it, including how to activate your warranty to make it transferable to the next owner of your home. The owner Reuben Russell definitely knows his stuff. He was very good at explaining in detail his product, warranty information and the process of installing the new shingles. He is also a licensed roof inspector so was effectively able to answer any questions I had. The office was very friendly and helpful as well. I was also happy with the workmanship. The installation crew were very good at cleaning up at the end of each work day. I only found a few nails left over in the yard. They did however leave quite a few nails in the gutters which I cleaned out but not that big of deal. The only real negative I had was it took a long time for them to get to the start date. I was scheduled in for Sept. of 2022 and they were not able to start the job until June of 2023. I can understand labor shortages and Covid were probably the main reasons why but that was a pretty long wait. Overall I would definitely recommend this business. They sell a quality product with a good warranty and are good at what they do. You might have to wait quite awhile to get in like I did but they do quality work.

The install date was pushed back due to weather and supply chain issues that were out of the control of Russell Specialty Services. Once the install started (this job was a large house and an outbuilding), RSS completed the job in a little over a week's time.

The workers who did the installation were courteous, friendly, and answered all of my questions as we went along. They were all hard workers and were very pleasant to have around my house.

Professional from first meeting with owner. I wouldn't use anyone else for roofing. We had delays because of weather but Russell kept me updated the entire time. I really liked having 5-6 options for pricing, submitted on a very professional bid. You can't go wrong with this roofer, being local to the Lewiston-Clarkston valley.
