The company put two dehumidifiers in. The second floor one was directed into a portion of the opened up wall and did dry it out. The larger one put on the first floor was put to dry out an area in the ceiling with two relatively small openings. No fan to direct the dehumidified air was installed so pretty much all it did was dehumidify the air lower in the room. The upper dehumidifier was left there well past when detectable moisture was there. The first floor one was there a long time due to the lack of fan…I added one of my own and monitored with a moisture detector until it was dry.

I was unhappy with the demolition process. Some items were removed, and some things that should have been removed, like rotten wood, were left in. Some of the wood taken out was not rotten, but they left rotten wood in. I am waiting for a response from them.

I had some personal property left in my home for me to pick up after work and the crew tearing out my floors piled the mildew/mold covered flooring on top of my clothes and $200 Lego set. The crew also used my bathroom (and didn’t flush) which normally wouldn’t be an issue but our water was still turned off to the house because of the flood.
The situation was corrected immediately and everything past that went very well.
