Matt provided great customer service.
Rytech did not do an appropriate job on the remediation. They did not do a full pack out as they said they would, and as a result my entire pantry is full of toxic dust and will need to be replaced. They did not test water behind the piano, or remove items from hall closet that has a connecting wall, so that wall was not tested. Insurance adjuster said that the tile underneath the plank vinyl flooring must be removed becuase there is water underneath. Rytech said there is no water under the tile, it is non-porous. The matter was escalated to management and they confirmed that tile is "non-porous" and told my husband it would be "unethical" to remove it. As a result, we had to bring in a second remediation company Servpro who found a ton of water under the tile, and it spread further into the kitchen, affecting the cabinets, so now we need a full kitchen replacement and water still under the tile while we wait for approval for second mitigation from our insurance company.
Packet that was done was horrible. Random boxes, items just shoved in there randomly. No wrapping of fragile items. Needs to be repacked by the movers.
Additionally, they put in fans and dehumidifiers which is not indicated for a Cat 3 black water leak (should have installed dehumidifiers and air scrubbers only). The plastic sheeting they put up fell down over the weekend because we had to leave the home. So, the fans blew bacteria filled water and dust all over every surface of my home. We had to get environmental bacteria testing from a separate company because Rytech did not do that (even though it says that is one of your services).
Our job supervisor was in and out, and left his team unsupervised, so what he said would happen to me, did not happen with his team. I had to leave the home 45 mins into the remediation due to extreme allergies to dust, so I was unable to "supervise" the remediation to make sure everything was done appropriately.
Completely unacceptable work. From a consumer's perspective, it feels like Rytech does the bare minimum to get in and out as quickly as possible so maximize profitability with volume of claim work, rather than taking the time to do it correctly.
I think the initial issue I found was that Rytech of Western Riverside did not know the details and did not know how to speak to the process and the customer. I found through the process that I was confused on if they were responsible for the next step. With other situations regarding other companies and emergency issues, things were clearly written out. It was a very uncomfortable situation because my house was torn apart.
It seemed like I did not get a full report initially. I understand it is discovery based and as they discover they go on, but I wish it was very clear from the outset. I wish they said, "Here is the damage and here is what we are going to do". It took longer than it should have.
DID NOT CALL ME WHEN ARRIVED AT MY HOUSE AS I ASK!
SAID MY WIFE TOLD THEM WATER MARKS ON CEILING WERE FROM AN OLD LEAK.
MY WIFE SHOWED THEM THE WATER MARKS ON THE CEILING AND GAVE THEM SODAS ONLY ????
THIS CAUSED PROBLEMS WITH JENNIFER MY ADJUSTER.
WOULD NOT USE THESE GUYS., BETTER OPTIONS AVAILABLE.
I was satisfied overall with their work.
Rytech of Western Riverside arrived on time. They got things done, and they left.
Joe and Andrew are good people. They helped us a lot. I'd recommend them!
We didn't choose them, they were chosen by the insurance company. So we can't recommend them. We don't even know how to contact them.
They left a hole in my wall from the crowbar they used to remove some paneling. There were three holes that were left. There was a piece of my alarm that was thrown out, as well. They didn't know it was an alarm and discarded it. Whatever equipment they used messed up and blew out all of my electricity. It's still not right. I am still dealing with electricians. Whatever they used in my house, which is old, blew my power. I have dealt with 3 electricians that have come out already. They are doing rewiring as well.
They were very good. They did what they were supposed to do, and out they went.
It took too long, and they weren't gentle when they took some things apart. They kind of ruined the back of the cabinet. I had to fix it and repair it. They tore it apart and left it.
I ended up with things missing from my home. Marcos came out to do the work and that is who I spoke with about this. I haven't heard back from him. I am missing a pocket knife and a box cutter that were in my garage that they took. That pocket knife was over $150. That needs to be resolved.
Rytech of Western Riverside County was on time, knowledgeable, clean, and kept a professional attitude.
Quick and efficient
I would highly recommend them. Friendly, professional easy to communicate with in a very difficult stressful time
I wasn't there during the process, but they did an outstanding job. They came and checked on the job to be sure everything was dry. Mr. Hector and Chelsea were wonderful to me.
The entire was excellent and I would highly recommend them to everyone I know!
Dealing with water damage in my kitchen was overwhelming, but luckily Rytech was by my side. They helped make my pack out process seamless, smooth, and professional!
Excellent service! Rytech of Western Riverside County was very professional and got the job done quickly!
They were really friendly, and they did good work.
Destructive how they took apart our kitchen
The company did a good job.
I have owned several rental properties and I completely remodeled this one two years ago. We never would have found the leak if our project manager didn't get over there on a fluke and see the water drainage. Rytech was there that same day, Joe and Max answered all my questions. I expect a lot and they didn't disappointment me. They explained everything to me very thoroughly. They got in and out of there. I couldn't say one negative thing about the way they handled everything. There was nothing they left out.
Prompt, on top of the job. Communicated well. Kept work area clean and so far everything has gone according to plan
