Overall we are very happy with the quality of the build, and especially the customer service. This is the best purchase we've made with regards to the customer service. Everyone is friendly, helpful and professional. You hire really good people!
We chose Scarmazzi because we liked what we saw, everyone was helpful and patient with us through out the process. They have done everything we asked for.
I was happy from start to finish.
Absolutely will recommend Scarmazzi homes to others we know
We have, in fact, recommended to family and friends!
Was an exceptionally easy experience building and fun picking out your selections :)
We are giving Scarmazzi Homes a five out of five for my likelihood to recommend them to friends and family. Their professionalism, attention to detail, and the high quality of construction are outstanding. Additionally, the beauty of the homes and the various options available for upgrades and customization have truly impressed us. Scarmazzi Homes has not only met but exceeded our expectations, creating a living space that feels both luxurious and uniquely ours. I would confidently recommend Scarmazzi Homes to anyone looking for a reliable builder who truly understands the art of crafting a beautiful and personalized home.
Always loved their home designs. Very spacious and makes one level living so comfortible. We would highly recommend not just to a friend but to anyone interested in single level living.
Well designed single family homes with lots of options. Friendly, helpful staff able to answer all of our questions or found answers, very responsive.
When Jim and I first decided to build a Scarmazzi patio home, we both were able to face the necessary elements of the building development. However, during the process of building, Jim needed two surgeries which interrupted our total involvement. Looking back, everything was a blur; yet, somehow we pulled through. Somewhere along the line, I did not realize that our future dwelling was to be ready for move-in mid-January. Moving during the winter is not comfortable, and Jim is currently undergoing another operation. I foresee that our total move-in will take a few months. I hope the Scarmazzi staff remains patient until we are fully settled in our future dwelling.
The purchase process was informative and easy. The design center was wonderful because you got to see the things before you purchase them. we took as much time as we needed to make decisions on critical parts of our build.
I have dealt with only professional, knowledge, friendly people from beginning to closing. I've never dealt with a more organized and efficient company.
This is the first time I have ever built a home. Building a Scarmazzi Home was a positive experience and I am happy I did it. I love my new Scarmazzi patio home! It's beautiful and the living is easy! I highly recommend Scarmazzi Homes if you are thinking of downsizing and/or building a new house.
Would definitely recommend Scarmazzi because of the beautiful quality built home we purchased.
I would recommend Scarmazzi to a friend. Overall, our experience has been favorable
Not likely to recommend Scarmazzi at this point, until our issues are resolved.
I will happily invite my family and friends to visit this community.
The homes are beautiful and well built. There’s a feeling of community with friendly people.
50/50. Upgrades are way too pricey for the product you get. Lot premiums prices unwarranted. To me, most lots are similar. Upgraded shower is very cheap. Could have done a much better job ourselves with a quality shower door and the pan for the floor. I know many people who actually toured this property and thought units were over priced. Again - different strokes for different folks.
YES! (...and without hesitation!)
We would be open and honest with anyone who asked us about our experience.
In general Scarmazzi pretty good company, their floorpans are unique and interesting. Still had few issues with the house which mostly were resolved in the timely manner. Had to remind few times though to come and fix some things.
I haven't lived in my house yet, so it is hard to say for sure.
They need to come and take care of the lawn.
We absolutely love our home, they are a very quality builder.
We are thrilled with our new home. It exceeds our expectations. Thank you!
We have had a very positive experience with Scarmazzi Homes so far. We are looking forward to moving in in about one month There was always progress on our home. Sometimes we would ride by on the weekend and workers would be working. We were surprised and happy to see that
The entire process of building with Scarmazzi Homes has been much smoother than expected. The team works well together to ensure a beautiful product in the end. Whatever you need, they get it done!
i am disappointed with the construction process but am still hopeful that the quality and final product will be satisfactory.
A large gap between drywall and countertop was simply patched with cabinet trim. I was told this is the proper way to finish because I didn't choose the upgrade cabinets. A few other things, thresholds were not attached. But they were glued down quickly after we moved in. Our lawn looks terrible, just rocks and branches everywhere. We will have to get a real landscaper. Also there is an odor coming from one of the drains that can't be addressed apparently.
have already done so
Scarmazzi Homes' marketing slogan should be "we build expensive homes cheaply". By "cheaply" I mean faux wood moldings, faux wood mantle/surround, faux wood window sills, using cheap windows, and doing a terrible final grade and starter "lawn". Most of their subs don't speak English, making you wonder where they learned (if they learned) their trade. The business model appears to be "build it fast and get to closing, then fix the issues later during the warranty period. This is the 6th new house we've built over 50 years and, by far, Scarmazzi was the worst builder we've dealt with.
The closing of our home should have been cancel, it was NOT finished. After the closing we expected to move in but when we got there workers were still working on major things. It still isn’t finished till this day. We built 4 homes in the past 11 yrs ScarmazziHomesPGH doesn’t come close to any of them.
We are very happy with our new home. Very good quality and very professional staff to work with.
We wanted a floor plan that would meet our needs and Scaramazi was one of the few builders who provided the floor plans that would stay in our budget.
After living in Arabian meadows for over a year built by Scarmazzi homes, I am moderately satisfied. Everything that needed attention basically was resolved . The only thing that I tell prospective buyers is to question the starter lawn and ask about the quality and if it is to be redone when needed. And I would get that in writing.. recently
Some fixes were quick, some fixes took time, and some left us scratching our heads. The one that disappointed us the most was our lawn. We were told three inches of topsoil delivered on a triaxle would come to our lot, that never happened. I trusted them to do that. Our lawn is nothing but dirt. When we asked Scramazzi to help establish our lawn, they said it stays the same. I am embarrassed by our lawn. We have had no help from Scarmazzi. To me my last names are precious, I do things with integrity, and I would never let my family name be frowned upon. I don't think the integrity regarding the lawn is good. That is the biggest concern. The new homeowners coming in need to be given more time in the design center. We would have spent an extra $15,000.00 to add a sun room on the front. I told them I had a lot of money to spend. The day of the closing, they told me it would be $500.00 more to add anything. Maybe my lawn is the payback, I don't know. The designer seemed to be less interested in the end. I needed her to make sure I was happy. There were things I wasn't happy with that I chose, because I didn't know all the ends and outs of upgrading.
I have recommended Scarmazzi Homes to many friends and relatives. They build a quality home and address any concerns promptly.
I really don't where to begin so I'll start with Linda, who was always there for us. Then to Alan who reminded me of our son, a perfectionist! I knew I was in good hands from the very beginning. Then to Tim who answered every question, made sure work order was completed and truly a good man. I put my complete trust in Scarmazzi Home Team and they certainly are people you can trust from beginning to end. I love my home and I loved doing business with them.
We love everything about our new home, Scarmazzi Homes made the experience very smooth all along the way!
Craftmanship was adeequate but there is a list of followup fixes needed. The cleaning before closing was not complete. There should be a deep clean to remove drywall dust from all surfaces ( top of cabinets, in utility closet, attic stairs and railings, thresholds from patio and front door, etc). Overall we are satisfied but there is room for improvement.
I am very satisfied. Things are moving along very well. When I told them I wanted to hold off on paving, they agreed to that. I wanted it to be warm enough. I understand them waiting on the landscaping, once the ground settles. Thing are working out very well.
Overall Scarmazzi homes has been reasonable to deal with. The Service Manager has smoothed out what could have been significant problems. We are, however, disappointed in the number of problems that have cropped up.
We love our new home in Highland Village. The quality is great and the location is very convenient. The amenities are excellent. We are looking forward to many happy years here.
Definitely would recommend.
When our relatives and friends visit us, they all rave about our home. It surely is wonderful. Other than some nagging issues, we are happy with this experience with Scarmazzi Homes.
I live at 113 Palomino Ct. John Dagg is my father, who is in the process of purchasing the Model Home here in Arabian Meadows. K.A.S.
We love our Portico Plus the design and flow of the floor plan is just what we were looking for…Dave Scarmazzi always responds to any issues and he and Aaron were wonderful to work with. We have found our forever home.
Jim and Aaron were both very knowledgeable and courteous.
Scarmazzi Homes did a fabulous job building our home. They completed it on the given timeline they provided us. The quality of the home is above any other builder we have seen. They are also very dedicated to any follow up questions we had once we too possession of our home. If you want a quality build and a quality team we definitely recommend Scarmazzi !
