My basement flooded in a Saturday. Servepro came out and sucked out some water and ran dehumidifiers and left. They didn’t float the carpet or pull the pad so when they left, the carpet was still SOAKING wet to the point where if you stepped on it the water squished up and formed a puddle. They promised to come back Monday morning and float the carpet and we didn’t know any better so we said ok. Come to find out we should have NEVER let them leave without floating the carpet. Mold starts growing within 72 hours and guess what? No one showed up to float the carpet on Monday. I called to try to get a crew to come out and explained that by Tuesday we would be 72 hours in with soaking wet carpet. They didn’t have a crew to send but the promised they would send a crew Tuesday morning. No crew showed up Tuesday. I called and again and begged and pleaded and explained my extreme dissatisfaction. It didn’t matter, they didn’t have a crew to send. At this point I contacted my claims agent through insurance and she called Stanley Steemer who was on their way to my house within the hour. In the meantime, servepro called me back and said they could get a crew out by Thursday. THURSDAY!! I told her that would not be necessary because I found a different company and all of a sudden it was a miracle because she wanted to send guys out in the morning (Wednesday) to pick up the dehumidifiers. They didn’t have a crew to take care of my job but they had extra guys sitting around to pick up equipment? This caused me to have to have my carpet fully replaced when it should have been salvageable. The carpet was only a year old and the water was clean water it wasn’t sewage or anything. If they had done their job correctly in the first place and floated the carpet it would have been just fine to replace the pad and lay the carpet back down once it had dried out. As a result I spent forever fighting with insurance over this because we went over the claim limit and they wanted ME to pay the overage when in reality servepro should have paid for the damage not to mention the hazardous conditions they left my house in for days. NEVER use Servepro!! Call Stanley Steamer!!!

Servpro employees did a wonderful job, however they need to reconsider the contractors that they hire and make them accountable for the time that they say they'll be done. We were told that we'd be back in the home in eight weeks and it is looking more like thirteen weeks.

Servpro did a great job cleaning up all of the smoke damage to my rental unit caused by my former tenant. I would definitely recommend them.

The repairs on our house after our furnace exploded was completed but the lack of professional workers caused us more stress than we already had. We are assuming that Servpro commissions some of their work on to other "professionals". Whomever the responsibility falls to - they failed to give a positive customer experience. We live in a small ranch home. At a moment of intense stress after a botched repair, I told one of the managers commissioned by Servpro, "we don't have much, but it's all we have!" We're just glad ServPro's part of the work is complete.

There were a lot of questionable timetables and actions that were taken that made our problem worst. They allowed water to build in our basement know that the electric was off causing additional not needed damage when an external sump pump could have resolved the issue. things were destroyed that were not even in the immediate fire.

Additional Comments - Overall we are extremely satisfied with how things have been handled, few things could have been better but still all is exceptible. Great work from all tha wereInvolved.

This is the worst organization I have dealt with. My home smelt like stale smoke for weeks due to the agent that was sent to my home. The agent who came out did not communicate with me and created additional issues.
