Not only did Ed Beauchaine’s Shingle Masters do a GREAT job on our asphalt shingle room in 2007, we decided to go to them when we replaced it with a DECRA Metal Roof. From our initial appointment with Eric to our closing walk-through with Ed, fantastic experience! A professional and dependable outfit! If you’re looking to get a metal roof, with the appearance of an asphalt shingle roof (HOA friendly!), seriously recommend you strongly look at and give Shingle Masters of Riverview, FL a SHOT!

Buyer beware! Shingle Masters Roofing and Construction does not honor the contract that they and I signed; and they did damage to my house! I held up my end of the contract. I paid them in full upon receiving the Wind Mitigation Inspection report signed by the owner of Single Masters. Total I paid was $24,114: $10,000 roof replacement & secondary water resistance barrier. $7,000 improving the strength of roof deck attachments.
$7,114 reinforcing roof to wall connections (double wrap hurricane straps & gable bracing)
June 14 MSFH paid DMI to accomplish Final Wind Mitigation Inspection for Florida Grant. Report did not show the double wrap hurricane straps I paid Shingle Masters for. DMI found that the "double wrap hurricane straps" installed by Shingle Masters were not installed according to Manufacturer specifications. Shingle Masters emailed me the parts used. I contacted the manufacturer, who looked at the pics that Shingle Masters had provided & verified that their product was not installed properly and therefore provides no protection. Aug 16 owner "Ed" Beauchaine, emailed me "The application is sound and has been accepted in all previous installations. We have done hundreds of these and never failed an inspection or had them installation turned down. Since they don't meet the manufacturers certification requirements, we are willing to do one of two things 1. Refund you the portion of your job for the double wrap straps or 2. Redo them according to Simpson requirements." I replied 2 days later via email that I wanted a refund. I have asked multiple times, and I still have not received the refund I am entitled to. My ceiling in the corners of my garage are hanging down. The corners of my house, where they meet the roof are cracked. They split a beam in my attic. They put a 2x4 board under an OSB that has water damage. They cut OSB beyond where they should have at the top of my roof & just shingled over the opening. Plus much more incompetent and lazy actions. I am still awaiting a refund of the promised $7114 so that I can apply that money toward hiring a competent company to inspect, repair, & install properly, which I had paid them to accomplish. I have pics of damage and emails from Shingle Masters stating they have installed hundreds of hurricane straps the way they installed mine, that the manufacturer said provides NO protection against strong winds. Steer clear of this company and if you have used them, I recommend you have a professional get into your attic to see their work and if you paid for double wrap hurricane straps, hire a qualified installer to install hurricane straps properly. I had planned to stay through storms, but now I am left without the protection and piece of mind that I paid Shingle Masters a lot of money to do

I am very impressed with the quality of the work and the professionalism of everyone involved, from the initial sales rep to the project manager and crew. Shingle Masters made sure everything was properly repaired before putting on the new shingles. They even rebuilt and painted my chimney. All questions were quickly answered and all concerns properly addressed. Even after the work was completed, there was a thorough follow-up inspection to make sure everything was done and my yard was properly cleaned up. From receiving a quote to the end walk through this company and it's employees went above and beyond to both meet our expectations and then exceed that even. The quote was reasonable. The start date was actually done sooner than the projected timeframe that was originally given to us. Workmanship of the crew and their professionalism was outstanding and courteous. The crew arrived on time and finished by thoroughly investigating the grounds for clean up and any errors that needed to be corrected. The end walk through was done in a timely manner and also double checked for accuracy with all the paperwork. This company is truly remarkable!

Although any project of this size can be stressful, they went out of their way to keep me informed during the process and addressed any concerns I had right away. My initial contact was with Todd in sales. He was very knowledgeable and patient and answered all my questions. Brandon was one of the onsite reps that also did a good job of keeping me updated on additional material requirements as the job progressed. I spent a lot of time observing as they worked and was impressed with the attention to detail maintained by the roofing crew even as temperatures rose well above 100 degrees. They made sure everything was covered/protected that needed to be, i.e. air conditioners, landscaping, pool screen, etc. They were constantly cleaning as they went and also made sure everything was secure at the end of each day. They used a magnetic rake several times during and after roof replacement to ensure no nails were left. Additionally, the punch out crew did an exceptional job finishing up the details. They painted all lumber & stucco surfaces that were replaced and did another walk around and cleanup.

We used Shingle Masters on a recommendation. So we will also recommend them to neighbors.

Shingle Masters by far set the standard on what should be expected from a roofing company or any contracting work, honestly. They were very communicative from our initial contact through finalizing our insurance claim. The roofing crew was fast, professional, and kept things very clean, while providing an exceptional product. It is clear that they care very much about customer satisfaction and their own reputation as the best in the business.

I very highly recommend Shingle Masters Roofing for roof replacement. John Dooling was our consultant - he was lovely, knowledgeable and extremely helpful throughout the entire process! He came out quickly to give us a quote and did a thorough review of our existing roof - he even took pictures with a drone, which we were given access to. The quote was very competitive considering the excellent product and service we received. We were quickly added to the schedule and John did a wonderful job keeping us posted on what was happening. The team arrived right on time and quickly proceeded to protect our grass, driveway and A/C units and got straight to work. They even worked late into the night to ensure our roof would be fully protected from an incoming rainstorm! John was fantastic and stopped by to check on the work and was in touch throughout the installation to answer any questions. The crew took pictures as they worked so we could see exactly what was being replaced underneath - no surprises! The total roof replacement took about 1.5 days - even with it raining the second day - and then a nice man came out to complete all the finishing touches. It looks AMAZING!!
